Bought this camera couple of months ago used as well! It is my first fuji camera and I'm loving it and I think I'm sticking with this one for couple of more years.

i use the xt10 for a year. i bought it out of curiosity since i am a sony user for many years. i love it tbh. i recently trade in for the xt20 for a very big reason. the capture one film simulation support. XT10 was great for me. in fact it surprise me alot. a 2015 model can do tons of low light shoot. i had fun using my xt10, would not have trade it in if is not for the capture one film simulation. i do alot of heavy post processing and capture one film simulation support is a big deal for me. other than that, XT10 is really good enought for almost everything. its so compact and i can just bring it everywhere. a ready go-to camera and i can on spot transfer the jpg shots for social media. its a perfect camera for its size.
I just got mine. I'm having a bit of trouble using it, like how to set the settings up and something like that, but hey that's what makes you understand it right, so yeah. I'm been doing a lot of research about the camera to be more familiar with the features.
Great to see a current review of this older camera! I have the X-T3 and a Canon P&S. Thinking of selling the Canon and picking up an X-T10 (I’d rather have that as a backup).
It’s definitely a great little camera. I used it as a back up camera for my second shooter in a wedding once and it did pretty well. I ended up selling it to a friend who was trying to buy their first camera and just recently ended up buying a Fuji X-E2 because I missed the X trans two sensor
Hi, Matt! I'm planning to get the XT10, and you just pushed me to that direction 🤣 You are fun to watch!! More camera reviews to come!! Fujifilm come sponsor this guy lol
I have this camera and basically have the 35mm f2 glued to it. I have the kit zoom but never use it because I love the 35mm. I bought it new and there’s really nothing wrong with it especially at my skill level (hobbiest). Only issue is when I turn it on there’s a lag between turn on and moving the auto focus zone. I’ve been looking at the X100V or potentially X Pro 3/XT4 - should I upgrade or have I been watching too much RUclips!
Thanks man! I’m slowly making my way through my lenses, I’ve done two reviews so far (the Fuji 18mm f/2 and the Viltrox 56mm f/1.4) but when I go through my whole lineup I’ll make one about them all in general and what I use. Thanks for the suggestion!
I owned an X-Pro1 and an X-M1, but sold them for small form factor X-E3 and an X-T10 as a replacement for the X-M1which liked but has no viewfinder! I personally have not used a Sony camera to be honest, but I would look at it this way: Sony has a full frame line of cameras to protect, so their APSC cameras can’t be TOO good or it will take sales from their other market. Fuji on the other hand has APSC and medium format, which is different enough that they can put 100% into both lines. If you want a high quality APSC camera, Fuji has you covered. Sony admittedly does a good job in the full frame “middle ground” but it’s not for me.
I don’t think so. I did a quick google search and it looks like you can save film sim presets in Fuji X Raw Studio and input raws there for same effect on these older bodies
I do like to shoot from my iPhone 6s everywhere I go but I’m looking for an upgrade. Do you think Fuji X-10 will give me the quality just to post on my Instagram but also for documenting purpose?
the Fuji X10? that's pretty old and the sensor isn't going to make you any favor. The only things better would be color processing, and the lens in front of the sensor but even then you can fix a lot of thing in software with your phone. If you want an integrated lens camera, I'd look into thing a bit more recent : the Fuji X20 is a nice upgrade, the X30 is even better, though I'd probably go for the original X100 instead. You can also look into premium point and shoots from other brands, the Panasonic LX 100 is a great value for money
I have 35mm f2, do you recommend changing that for the 27mm pancake lens? Do you have links for lens, eye socket, strap, grip and the red shutter button you added? My thumb grip fell off but was able to glue it back.
