No SimpleFlips laugh count for being a mega movie over 6 hours. This is too much for me that i cant risk it. It can end the universe if i try to count it
I feel like this competition was rough in a lot of ways. There were some really cool things, but it felt like a lot of people didnt know how to make "mystery" so they either just copied another game into SM64 or just basically railroaded the player into "solving" the mystery That being said, no other comp has the line, "I'm the big fucking olive. Let's tussle." So hard to say if it's bad or not
It's "Mario get off my balcony" for me. This competition was full of winners and some more inexperienced entries, but it's a pretty cool time capsule of how far Mario 64 rom hacks have come.
i love how simple has only changed to be more fit and you could take him out of any era of his sm64 streaming and it would be mostly the same. thank you for the consistent quality simple
So instead of remaking the Slide Hack Intro to include a *"bruh"* they just straight up re-released the entirety of Mystery Hacks to give us *"bruh"* bruh
1:51:14 Spoilers for the Pokémon Mystery Dungeon game this hack is based off of, being Pokémon Mystery Dungeon: Explorers of Time, Darkness, and Sky (Because of course it was a dual release with a third enhanced version later on) This is actually a plot point in the game. The Time Gears are a real thing in the Mystery Dungeon: Explorers games, and the antagonist opens up a wormhole portal into the future, and then it turns out that YOU’RE from the future, and then you create a paradox by saving the world and stop existing, and then the epilogue hard cuts to you back in the present like you never faded from existence at all.
watching this is making me realize how long i've been watching simple. this was such a fun comp! i'm excited to see more competition compilations as you guys make them.
@simpleflips 44:36 to me it feels like longing. A bitter sweet feeling both of hopfulness but also about looking back at your life and recognizing things you would change and things you would always keep the same.
20:57 is when I realized this is a reupload, because I hella recognize that road. Still, 6 hours of Simpleflips is awesome :D (Also, I did find it weird that Simpleflips looked like a past version of himself, this explains why that is the case)
I really needed this right now. Thank you Simple for always providing me with fun content that I can watch, enjoy, and laugh alongside, no matter how badly I'm currently feeling, or how badly I was feeling in the past. Your content has always been a part of my life for many years, and I can't be thankful and appreciative enough of your existence. I'm so proud to see how much you've improved yourself and worked towards your goals, no matter the odds. It's so inspiring and it gives me the hope that I need to push through tough times. From the depths of my heart, thank you man, I really mean it
42:50 I was today years old when I realized I don't know SimpleFLips' real name. Like my brain has always just been like 'yeah, that guy? he's SimpleFlips.'
Shoutouts to SimpleFlips. He spent three hours IRL BLJing his way into speedrunning infamy, inspired his abandoned children to start a fan wiki, then fell asleep on his first try. Great entertainer he is!
its so weird to be reminded that simple was this huge and now is huge in a different more healthy way. P.S. you gave me the inspiration to get slim and fit aswell. over last year i went from 120kg with no muscle, couldnt lift 10 kg without using both hands to todays 110kg where i can lift 30kg with one hand with ease. stay simplyripped as piratesoftware said while being afraid of your metamorphosis.XD
4:16:45 can someone please remind me of the name of the song that's playing in the background? I have it at the tip of my tongue but my mind is running blank. Edit: Brotherman Bill
Another excuse to watch Detective Luigi. Top 3 comp hack, maybe even top 1 when it comes to how much I go back to rewatch the vid for it! It gets meme'd on, but I honestly love it to death!

I like to think Simple uploaded this purely to remind the world of Rovert's Fake Ending
Diabolical.
Roverts character growth from this to recent hack comps as a storyteller ontop of his technical prowess is actually insane

in my quick estimate of maybe 1 laugh per minute, i'd say probably around 300-400 laughs this video
we should split the work into half-hour long segments
turn this into a community effort
