- This sketch is very funny. It was recorded in 1997. David Hyde Pierce, John Mahoney, Jane Leeves, Peri Gilpin and Moose the dog are at the bridge of Voyager. Their captain is Kate Mulgrew (Kathryn Janeway).
Martin's chair was a nice touch xD

Frasier uses the word "jejune" at least twice in the series and I love how they brought that into it. The dialogue here is genius.
I love this... This was from the Star Trek 30th Anniversary show in 1996. Fave line is when David Hyde-Pierce says the Aldebarian is "About to go where so many men have gone before"
And the Romulan loafers line was pretty good, too. 🙂

Niles' enunciation is perfect for Star Trek. I never noticed it before. He reminds me of Reginald Barclay of TNG. I could definitely see him as a character. He also reminds me a tad of Dr. Bashir... perhaps it's Bashir's unrequited love for Dax.

Yes, it's too bad the sound is so off - but of interest is how even in this spoof the nature of the characters and the dynamics between them are so good that they can still come up with a reasonably funny script.

He was actually in Startrek Next Generation in a tiny role as a captain of a ship. The Enterprise was stuck in a time loop and got their memories erased each time they went back an entire day, so they didn't know, but they were able to figure it out. Eventually they got out and found out they were stuck there for a 2 weeks. The ship they kept bumping into got out of the loop too, after being stuck there for several years. The captain was, of course, Grammer.
Funny, because I just watched that episode of TNG! 😂😂🤣🤣

frasier was on an episode of STTNG. he played the captain of an old reliant class ship that came through a wormhole into picard's time period. that was one of the best episodes ever.

Its easy when both Frasier and Star Trek belong to Paramount, which now belongs to CBS.
You will find that quite a few quest actors in Star Trek have also appeared in Frasier.

FRASIER was one of the very best sitcoms ever created. While STAR TREK was one of the very best SCI-FI concepts ever offered.
