I have a go-to phrase that I use, whenever I find myself ruminating about the past. When I catch myself doing it, I say aloud but "That was then, This is NOW ". little by little I'm changing that auto-pilot of behavior.

I believe for me the problem of letting go was no knowledge of how to process the emotions / energy that was trapped in my body. No one taught me and I was full of anger with no idea of it's existence at first and then no clue how to get it out in a healthy way. Only then when the energy began to lessen was I able to accept. I believe my stuck anger was protecting me in a way until I learned. Thank you for your videos and clear explanations.

Thank you so much for this wonderful insight talk. I admit that i am attached to my old stories and they are holding me back. One of them is balding at the age of 16 due to stress at home, where my parents were always fighting. I never got my beautiful full hair back and my hair loss has become worse over the last ten years. No day goes by or i see myself in the mirror and get reminded at the cause. holding onto that old story depletes me emotionally and doesn't get my hair back. time to let go and go onwards and put some energy in my new dreams and goals
