@@starekttheghost3053 how would it be after endgame if tony dies in it. Literally wouldve made no sense putting it after the followin marvels movies cuz they were settin up for the infinity saga

In my opinion
It’s so fascinating how the perception of things change over time, because I remember everyone thinking of the Civil War storyline as mid when It finally wrapped up, and the only reason anyone really cared was because Spider-Man and some of the XMen were involved, as well as rumors of a Iron Man movie being in production.
Spider-Man parts were definitely the best, most people only read the main run and consider it mid, but there was like 140 tie-ins to it, I can't say I've read it all, but for the people who have, apparently it's masterfully crafted, my teacher has them all read, lol, his favourite comic book event
Honestly having an entire story be dedicated to superheroes fighting each other just wouldn’t work well since these people have known each other for ages and for them to be put into a story where they are instantly trying to kill each other would just dissolve into more dark and violent nonsense with many beloved characters getting killed off and being forgotten about or other characters simply not appearing in the conflict at all Injustice and Civil War are very bad comic book adaptations of Marvel/DC
a little TLDR for how civil war happened in the comics is that it wasn't really an event that caused it, it was a bunch of tensions between groups and nations finally coming to breaking points after the straw broke the camels back and there was no mastermind behind the scenes
@@andraw4002 it was more of a tipping point than an actual spearheaded event, and it didn't cause Civil War, just for legislation and division, multiple events afterwards is what really caused it
I think it was used at the right time because in Infinity war the Avengers were separated which caused them to lose, which made them come back together in Endgame, teaching them to put aside differences for the great or good, making its impact bigger.
"Everybody who watched SheHulk was literally only waiting to see DareDevil again." Nope, I was watching for SheHulk. DareDevil was cool to see again, though.
Could do Civil War II; maybe a combo of A vs. X and have Wanda replace the Phoenix force and have a second civil war between those who want to kill her and those who want to use her
The genius of this movie universe at first was that with each movie the universe was being built upon as the audience watched. So the audience felt like they were growing along with the characters. But the problem that it's now created is that they continuously have to introduce characters that should have been there from the very beginning, and either say they were there from the very start and make a prequel movie, or introduce them as a brand new character, and show their origin story and somehow make it fit in with everything else. The Way the animated shows always did it was start off somewhere in the middle of the timeline, where the world and characters already existed. That way, all they have to do to give an opening for a character to be introduced is for another to mention them.
The civil war comic wasn't really that good, and the movie was better. Not that it's a good adaptation, it was only superficially tied to the comics' themes and didn't adapt much of the story or its beats. They can always revisit the Civil War concept later on, and call it Civil War 2. It doesn't need to be an adaptation of the second series, and can walk closer to the original comic.
@@speeddemonji9547 I'm a comics guy over mcu, and the movie was better than the comic. I don't get why he said the movie had no impact, it set the tone of unease for that phase, and it was way better than Age of Ultron.
In the civil war you can't lie you kind of feel bad for iron Man because after you found out the zemo did he did try to help but when he found out parents you can't blame him for being mad
To be fair, the Movie on it‘s own was still Amazing and possibly the best MCU ever with how great everything fit in together with Baron Zemo being an amazing Villain. But let’s not act as if the first Civil War was flawless. It brought us the BP & Storm marriage which i am all for this couple, i have to admit writers messed them up bad including here, Johnny Storm getting glassed and knocked out by regular people and Tony literally just creating a new Thor, only for him to be killed by Hercules at the end of CW anyway
Superman getting his beam deflected reminds me of that one marvel game where you could do combo special attacks and if you did it with those 2 it made a bunch of smaller beams
They’re setting up civil war two with the mention of the reversing of the sakovia accords in she hulk. Also we could potentially see daredevil vs she hulk as the heads of the opposing factions. Since they already had their “moment” together in her show it’d have the same grounds as cap and stark
Unfortunately I feel like the stakes after Endgame got so enormous and fantastical something like Civil War coming after that was much more grounded would get lambasted
i get what you're saying but i also dont at the same time. Having civil war happen after endgame wouldve been really cool and definitely very impactful, but that wouldve followed the comic story mpre accurately. Which isnt bad, it wouldve been insane and i wouldve been all for it. But the movies are inherently different. At least slightly anyways. It happened at the perfect time in the movies. it brought in new characters, caused real conflict between the avengers, gave us an incredible Zemo and allowed for thanos to win in infinity war, because in all likeliness, if the avengers were still together during infinity war thanos wouldve lost.
It made huge impact. Discovery of spiderman Captain america finding tchalla (for avengers infinity war plot) Wanda and vision went away making it easier for thanos' minion to get to them Awesome intro of zemo Accordia accords intro which have several effects in the future
It was utilized effectively because the goal was to split the Avengers up so that they’d lose in Infinity War. Just like any other comic-book based story adaptation at that moment in time, the world was not built enough for it to be a near identical copy. Thus, the option is either to adapt another storyline (which would again leave you unsatisfied) or create something entirely new (which would probably also leave you unsatisfied)

I think it’s more of the fact that i was like 6 when iron man came out and im 23 now so as an adult there’s not a lot of draw for me to continue to support a childrens property, at least that’s my opinion. It’s like star wars im happy to revisit the stuff i grew up with but the stuff now legitimately isn’t made with me in mind so im not going to watch it.

Maybe they released civil war before endgame because
They wanna kill iron Man in End game so how they make a civil war without iron man?
A Civil War movie would’ve been awful without the classic Captain America/Iron Man team captains set up. What characters would even take the lead in this scenario? It’s such a stupid idea
Wayyy too many ppl on here thinking "Iron Man would have killed Cap" if he was serious. If anything the movie was favoring Iron Man. Bucky did not want to fight and Cap was only focused on distracting Iron Man. If both Cap and Bucky were out for blood, Tony would NOT hav a chance.
The awesome line “AVENGERS! Assemble.” that Cap says is cool but it would’ve been so much better if it had been built up for more than a couple of movies.
Wdym the movie is one of the best in the mcu
As long as they dont ever even acknowledge civil war 2 im fine with more fights
Honestly I think the mutant registration act would be perfect for an MCU civil war 2. A sort of pseudo avengers Vs x-men without being restricted to just those 2 teams
me who actually wanted to see she hulk:*sigh*
Glad someone finally has the stones to call out the people that pretend to be “real fans” because they watch the movies and don’t read comics

Dude I can name you at least 10 films better than civil war in 2016... You have very bad taste in movies
In my opinion civil war was used at the right time, because it split up the avengers and introduced spider man and black panther, all of which were important for infinity war. if the original avengers along with The 4 new avengers introduced at the end of age of Ultron were at the fight against thanos they could have won. In my opinion

It's almost like they heard that DC was doing a hero vs hero movie and said, "we gotta do dat!!!!"
Used too early but imagine how bad it would have been if Marvel did it today.

Civil war at this point would need to be a short series with a cinematic budget
Civil war felt like marvel pallet cleansing and setting the stage for endgame
bro i remember seeing them barely finish winter soldier and i got surprised when FREAKING CIVIL WAR trailer got released. i was laughing hard
Honestly having an entire story be dedicated to superheroes fighting each other just wouldn’t work well since these people have known each other for ages and for them to be put into a story where they are instantly trying to kill each other would just dissolve into more dark and violent nonsense with many beloved characters getting killed off and being forgotten about or other characters simply not appearing in the conflict at all
Injustice and Civil War are very bad comic book adaptations of Marvel/DC
a little TLDR for how civil war happened in the comics is that it wasn't really an event that caused it, it was a bunch of tensions between groups and nations finally coming to breaking points after the straw broke the camels back and there was no mastermind behind the scenes
No event took place? Speed Ball was the catalyst.
@@andraw4002 it was more of a tipping point than an actual spearheaded event, and it didn't cause Civil War, just for legislation and division, multiple events afterwards is what really caused it

“Not only was it better in the comics than in the movies” same as everything else but continue
I have read Civil War, The Seige, Dark Reign, Fear itself… man the magic in these comics can never be created fully on screen.
I think it was used at the right time because in Infinity war the Avengers were separated which caused them to lose, which made them come back together in Endgame, teaching them to put aside differences for the great or good, making its impact bigger.

Agreed. That’s why there’s civil war 2 babyyyyy
"look at she Hulk everyone was just excited for daredevil"
Well yeah because they didn't give us a reason to like she Hulk.
Yeah idk why he’s saying the movie’s version was worse ??? Bro that event was fucking dogshit
His parents were dead long ago from a guy who couldn’t even piss without being ordered to be definitely took it too far
@@Deathmare235 yes I can agree with that Tony it really didn't need to do that and Bucky did really regret it but I still feel bad for Tony
Captain America gave everyone those hands in civil war and that’s was the best of that movie, he gave black panther them hands too
Green goblin was right about what he said to Peter Parker when he says that people want to see heroes fall
Can't be the only one that doesn't believe Disney can pull off Dr.Doom
Look at how they destroyed Dr.Strange
Superman getting his beam deflected reminds me of that one marvel game where you could do combo special attacks and if you did it with those 2 it made a bunch of smaller beams

The Civil War movie was incredible and we probably wouldn't have gotten one if we didn't get one around then.
They’re setting up civil war two with the mention of the reversing of the sakovia accords in she hulk. Also we could potentially see daredevil vs she hulk as the heads of the opposing factions. Since they already had their “moment” together in her show it’d have the same grounds as cap and stark
Unfortunately I feel like the stakes after Endgame got so enormous and fantastical something like Civil War coming after that was much more grounded would get lambasted
every other people watching she hulk for daredevil me watching she hulk to see hulk getting angry
i get what you're saying but i also dont at the same time.
I never watched civil war and it didn’t really feel like I missed anything at all
Civil wars my favorite marvel movie
It made huge impact.
Discovery of spiderman
Captain america finding tchalla (for avengers infinity war plot)
Wanda and vision went away making it easier for thanos' minion to get to them
Awesome intro of zemo
Accordia accords intro which have several effects in the future
I loved Civil War, I wouldn’t have them change another about that film.
That movie did have impacts on all the movies after hell even some of the shows now
I'm so mad that civil war wasn't a phase in itself, such wasted potential
we do have another superhero feud. it's called "Multiverse of Madness"
“Movie had no impact”
The avengers literally would have won in Infinity War if not for civil war and zemo.
You know there’s more than one civil war comic ? “Civil war 2” and counting.. they can do another civil war
