- Just for Australia Day.
I make a Morgan's Australian Lager just as per instructions supplied with the extract brew adding a recommended 1kg dextrose. Fermented at 25 c for 7-10 days
I find a leak in the bowtie pressure regulator and fix it.
I paid 10 Dollars for this brew I hope it tastes as good as the price.

Great video. Cheers!
Thank you! Cheers!
Many water suppliers use chloramines which are more stable than chlorine. A quarter of a Campden Tablet crushed added to approximately 20 litres of water will remove it. You can also use a chloramine water filter. Hope this helps.
It certainly does, Thank you
Hi Pierre, Enjoying your videos. and getting a bit of help,. Have got a GrainFather and going thru all the NuBee stuff- but getting there.--- My issue is several years ago I had Tongue Cancer- and the cure--surgical, chemo and radiation left me with acute sensitivity in lips and parts of my mouth.
I am a 73 y/o and have enjoyed many beers since forever. Therefore, when my 'stuff' left me in a shit deal - not happy! After trial and error I found that Kilkenny was OK. However, the price is just crazy- So home brew.
Brewed a few and sort of OK-- but my issue is trying to remove bitterness and keep flavour. I think it is the bitterness that i cant handle with lip gum sensitivy. Any ideas??
Hi sorry to hear about your affliction, I reckon if you are susceptible to bitter beers or hop bitterness stick with lager beers still very tasty and are easy to manipulate the flavour profile. Lager it much harder to make as it requires patience and temperature control to achieve a clean tasting beer. Hope this helps
Nice touch on Australia Day mate, Aussie Aussie Aussie oy oy 🍺
I thought it was appropriate. Thanks
Nice set up, Do you think it’ll be better to have the ferment temperature at 13 degrees ?
Cheers
For sure, the lager brew really should be done slowly at low temps. If you use a lager yeast I would definitely brew at much lower temps.
Hej Pierre, are you gonna brew an Ants Beer ;)
😂😀😀😀😂😀😂😂😂😂
good video
Thank mate glad you dropped by.
I had the same problem with my preassure post. When i changed to a black balllock(beer type) problem was solved :) Sorry for my bad english, not my native language :)
Thanks for the heads up. Cheers
People say, that the black disconnect seal better. So Im gonne try using that on my blowtie next time.
That's good to know. I will try it next time. You are meaning connect to the stainless post yeah? Because changing to the plastic post also worked. Cheers.
Yes,to the stainless. The plastic is not for sale here yet.
Your brewing vid is ok but but could you please put on a hair cover of some sort as you are always flicking your hair about and there will be some of your hair falling into your brew plus it would be more hygenic .
G'day Gordon, how about you watch my newer videos. You will then see a comment like this is not required.
Hair Lager 😂😂
You must be a chef. If you ask me I think talking over the brew and spitting into it is more a problem.
Stop touching your hair, glasses and nose !
bite me!!!!!!!
