Last game I played seriously was Apex legends and in the trailers it’s always painfully obvious that the people making them have never played before (the hype moments in the trailer will be someone missing like 99% shots and getting a kill anyway) Then you have rivals just casually showing off combos cooler than anything I will probably ever do in the next 5 years lmao

And that he can influence the stage SO MUCH is what I wanted the other characters to do. Really cool stuff. Hopefully they don't back down from letting him do all this cool stuff.
Interesting to see Etalus hopefully getting some more fleshed out lore, but this trailer gives off the vibe he'll be a villain or antagonist to Aether. I wonder if he will play a villainous role, or merely antihero or adversarial but not necessarily a bad guy.
as someone who started with rivals 2, this is one of the 4 characters from the previous game that stood out to me. 2 of the others were in this trailer which was promising. Very very exciting, hyped for this game. He's savage and he's loving it. And he's spinning on his back while sliding. And he looks so good too! And I'm loving him too. I mean yeah I'm super happy he's our first.
