Nice job! You're learning firsthand that these old gals are quirky, temperamental, and need some coaxing to line up and go together! Go Kelly Builds, keep moving forward!
I really appreciate you guys. It is not easy to build under the sky, without a hall. The weather has been quite rainy there. Hearty greetings from Finland!♥️
Hi guys. That is how you get your project done....you have a free hour...work on the car. Taking the small steps will help you show progress. Each hour session is a step closer to completion. Don’t get stressed in this heat and stay hydrated. You might remember one of my earlier comments was don’t over chop your car. Keep in mind Travis at times will be in your car if you let him. It would be my suggestion to calculate the chop based on his height. Four and a half inch cut is a lot. While it might work for you and your kids, Travis will be more than a little uncomfortable. An idea for you...most of your viewers have positive comments for you. How about somehow posting a list of parts you need to keep this build moving forward. If there is an interest in helping, you can coordinate who buys what. Have a separate method to contact you guys. I am not talking about larger expensive things but parts you have to have. Maybe some have deeper pockets than others and can afford to fund large items but just letting some of these guys buy some part would be a help to you. Might be worth a shot then maybe not. I am way older than you two but I am going to start work on one of my Corvettes and from past experience, it is always the little things you forget or didn’t know about that hinders your build time. I am not afraid to step up now and ask what you know you need but are waiting for a few bucks for the purchase. Put your list out there with prices and tell people what you need first or there might be a hardware package you will need next month that one of the viewers on a tighter budget will feel good about being able to help. It is only a suggestion to keep the build interesting by involving the viewers. Some of the guys might get a kick if you mentioned they were the one that funded the new part. As usual, this was fun, way better than the “short” videos. Have fun and stay safe. See you both next video.
The butterfly fan part made our day! Once the roofs chopped perfectly for you, it’ll take on a new hot rod dimension. Great build, great teamwork, it’s certainly coming together bit by bit. England loving your content. 🇬🇧❤
Coming right along. Looks great. A little tip for ya. A few long ratcheting straps strategically placed and carefully tightened would tweak that easily.😉👍
I think you said you were going to chop it four and a half inches, I wouldn't chop it more than three and a half, but I'm a big old boy.😂😂😂 I'm just teasing with you.😊
Why don’t you get the Les Andrew’s Books about How to rebuild a Model A. They are available on Amazon or any Model A parts Supplier. 3 Volumes, the 1st and 2nd are the most informative. The books explain everything you need to know about Model A’s I know because I have a 1930 Coupe Deluxe. Thanks.
