Andonstar-- Hot air rework station VS. Heat gun. They are not the same!

As we all know, the hot air rework station has a wide range of applications in soldering. Hot air rework station can be used for soldering/ desoldering of SMT components, the hot air can melt the solder and achieve the connection of metal parts.

I've often wondered how a heat gun would perform on smd soldering, now I know it's just as good.

Hi, why didn't you used the reduce nozzle on the heat gun as well? the reduction will create more pressure on the hot end which will create higher temperature as well.
