@@JM00237 The fuck are you talking about. No it isn't. He may have helped write it, but they still recorded and made it, why the hell would someones writing credits make them stop playing a song. Besides they literally just played Ktulu like this month or last month and uploaded it to their channel. It's not that rare of a song live
The little extra stuff James throws in at 1:55 is amazing. The section at 2:07 is just absolutely beautiful! It sounds like something that would play in a movie scene showing the creation of the universe itself :) P.s. That little bend James does in the section at 2:07 is a nice touch as well.

Damn I miss these Jams. In our days it's like Metallica is hurying to get out of stage as far as possible :/ but back then it's like they didin't wanted to get out of the stage and jam all night. I wish Kirk did solos like that in our days when everyone is resting :D Than james starts playing a heavy riff. U know what I mean xD Btw His wah sounded great back than with their old tone
Me too man, i think they're getting out of stage, they have a family to feed, they have their family or personal responsibilities, back to Black Album era, They didn't care about them at that time, Because they had no wife or family, but you're right man
I also really like those jams. I think they started at the justice tour until when they entered the st anger era where they would take their time on and off the stage. It is always fun to watch and listen them goofing but also grooving around without actually playing a song of theirs.
@monamOneX I wish they would go back to their old tone too. Also wish they would touch up on the arrangements too and Lars would go back to the set up he had with those white Tama drum sets.
@monamOneX i could not disagree more, they still play 2+ hours per show, they kick ass, ofcouse i would love to see justice concert seatle 89' but they are still down o earth, giving all on stage band !
@wladosu U didn't understood me dude ;) I love Metallica before and I love it now. With "hurying to get out of stage" I meant that they play some of their songs too fast. The only thing I wish is that they return their old tone xD I've been to the Big 4 concert in Sofia and it kicked ass. Their sound sounds totally diferent live but I don't like it in some videos :)
It was his "stunt" guitar on the Black album and Nowhere Else to Roam tours, was pretty much destroyed. You can see the duct tape on it in this video, also can be seen playing Mistreated on the Live Shit DVD.
this is not a rare video the same damn thing can be found on the live shit binge and purge set yeah this may be a diff concert but its not rare for them to play this
Jason played the bass line wrong many bassists does play it wrong even rob in his early years played it wrong but now he learned it and plays it correctly.#BASS
@@vedangdeshpande2266 I've never liked how Jason played the bass part in Orion personally, it sounds much choppier than the way Cliff played it and Rob plays it which is (IMO) much more fluid sounding.
@@frankcastle5285 I'd expect him to do what Rob does and play as the song requires. Rob plays The God that Failed with a plectrum for example, and Jason is more than capable of playing with his fingers as you can see in many videos on this site.
The Only "Rare" Stuff here is Kirk Hammett Playing a Ibanez RG 570, But play pieces from the: orion, to live is to die and the call of Ktulo is not Rare
4:06 badass shot of James and Jason
What an amazing tribute to Cliff Burton
I wish I could hear To live is to die/Orion and The call of Ktulu on the same concert that could be the best this in my life.
They won’t ever play it because ktulu is mustaine song

The "Of Wolf and Man" Theme inspired James to design this guitar, writte the song, and another stuff that you can find searching on web :D

Jame's tone is brutal!
that's actually rare man, sounds different but awesome midley for Metallicas Jason Era
I actually did research and the guitars sound super digital here becuase the "no cable" thing and also the EMGs
Nigel 1990 yes you have reason
Lol i said this in 2014
and you still right (2017)
After a while, I start to kinda like it
James pickups are nice but they are way overpriced. I can find awesome pickups for like a quarter of the price

Cliff x Kirk too. Those old Ktulu bootlegs with the both of them soloing at the same time sound fuckin godly🤟
