Milton Keynes UK 1993 - Creeping Death - Lyrics: Slaves
Hebrews born to serve, to the pharaoh
Heed
To his every word, live in fear
Faith
Of the unknown one, the deliverer
Wait
Something must be done, four hundred years
So let it be written, so let it be done
I'm sent here by the chosen one
So let it be written, so let it be done
To kill the first born pharaoh son
I'm creeping death
Now
Let my people go, land of Goshen
Go
I will be with thee, bush of fire
Blood
Running red and strong down the Nile
Plague
Darkness three days long, hail to fire
So let it be written, so let it be done
I'm sent here by the chosen one
So let it be written, so let it be done
To kill the first-born pharaoh son
I'm creeping death
Die by my hand
I creep across the land
Killing first-born man
Die by my hand
I creep across the land
Killing first-born man
I
Rule the midnight air, the destroyer
Born
I shall soon be there, deadly mass
I
Creep the steps and floor, final darkness
Blood
Lamb's blood, painted doors, I shall pass
So let it be written, so let it be done
I'm sent here by the chosen one
So let it be written, so let it be done
To kill the first-born pharaoh son
I'm creeping death - Видеоклипы
Jesus - drums
The Devil - bass
A Lion - guitar and vocals
Kirk - lead guitar
James=lion
I like how Kirk is just Kirk
Kirk is a hyena. He screams and laugh with his guitar, but in a way that would make you shit your pants from fear of hyenas in the cold night while you're there, alone.
@@eranshalom1336 giving kirk a bit too much credit
@@chronic4632 i like your profile pic
80-90s james: Fuck yeah motherfuckers
2000s james: How does it feel to be alive xD
83 : HAH?!ARE U FUCKKING NUTS TO DAY?! HAH?! ARE U FUCKKING NUTS?!
He drummed for our sins.
i love this comment
😂
It was funny how he got told not to swear and then "Fuck yeah, motherfuckers!" XD
Dovahkiin1701 Thats James for ya didnt give a single fuck back then 😂😂😂
First song of the show and you can see Jason sweating... he always gave his 110% !!! Jason come back!!!
Lars and Jason are in other world
junesuprise Lars hätte besser auf sich selber schauen sollen... er ist nun mal der schlechteste Metal-Drumer den ich kenne.... 4Verspieler in einem Song der eigentlich im Schlaf sitzen müsste... 🤔👎
Yeah, in another level of overrated
@@aymanemach jason is the best one
@@aymanemach Mwaah mwaah, keep crying. He sounded good.
Aymane Mabrouki sure your mum is proud of you little wanker
Jason's bass is thunderous
I could listen to him playing his bass for hours.
Everything about this clip is incredibly badass
Just like And Justice for All
And his voice
I was there. You could feel it in your belly.
The Cowardly Lion - Vocals, rhythm guitar
Jesse Pinkman - Backing vocals, bass
Jesus Christ - Drums
Carlos Santana - Attempted vocals, lead guitar
Laughed hard at attempted vocals
Lars is certainly not a drum Jesus
Attempted LMFAO
HELP ATTEMPTED VOCALS
5:31 First song of the show and Jason is already sweating like what he is, a beast.
Sheamus - Vocal, rhythm guitar
John Cena - Bass guitar
Jesus Christ - Drums
Michael Jackson - Lead guitar
satan on bass. thor on vocals
Thao Hien Kirky Baby on Lead Guitar
kane - bass
Jajaja
Hahahah
I miss Jason😢
Out Da Rev Me too..
The spirit and energy of metallica
I miss cliff
Dat nigga was bad ass
Holmer Simpson: "DOH"! But yes, you are right! Jason was a bad ass while he lasted. George Caseres
very fast version...Jason backvoice is simply amazing...
3:58 Lars looks at Jason like "What the fuck you doing up there?" lol
+John Thomas Just being awesome....
"Making my bass sound like a banjo and I don't care"
5:45 Jason is like possesed by Satan omg
kane Wwe...
That actually scared me
Jason is Satan
O si on
He is the devil
What happened on this concert day, Thor descended down from heaven on the stage?
you made my day man hahaha
Gustavo Martínez :))
*Asgard
@@AniW2x4 Twas fucking awesome
this song has one of the best bridge sections in metal music and Jason's backing vocals really made it shine
5:43 thats where it all started, that smile, that damn smile
So freaky when he rolls his eyes, he is the Son Of Satan
theres just something about lars' old drum sound that makes metallica old live vids so much better than new ones
bc that’s when he knew how to drum
At this moment dave mustaine eas being interveiwed and and when this song started his face expression didnt change but boy you could tell he was pissed
Link of the interview ?
Mental ruclips.net/video/EewQZOL7rq4/видео.html
He wasn't pissed he was sad as fuck it wasn't until fade to black where he was pissed
El señor de la tienda why was he pissed at Fade to Black
@@qjones7298 if I remember correctly he said he was jealous of Kirk when he played the solo and said "that could've been me"
I was there too, the security staff wouldn't let me bring my booze in with me, so I drank it all before I went it. Slept through the entire gig and got heavily sunburned. I'd worked til midnight the night before then got the bus to MK from Glasgow. I was sitting under the AC vent on the bus, so I was freezing and couldn't sleep all the way down. Good times!
lol that doesn’t sound like a good time
Good time? You missed one of the best gigs in history of music! Metallica at their best
Should’ve shared it at that point.
@@H.E.M. I tried to, but other people kept asking me to help finish theirs.
@@lachlan1971 there was no winning. Well is a memory you’ll remember forever. Sorta 😂
FUCKYEAAAAH MUTHAFACKAAAA"S!!!
5:25 Lemmy Newsted!!!! Go get em
Not to mention that Megadeth played right before Metallica in this show, who were the headliners... man, first song and they're already wiping the floor with Megadeth. It's like James at 0:35 is making it clear who's boss.
P.D: don't take me wrong, I used to listen to a lot of Megadeth too in my teenage years, but Metallica is just on another level, they fuckin ruled the world back in those days, absolute legends.
Same as now. Megadeth is being boring asfuck. Just like slayer
@stargazer _099 I agree with you
i think this is the best version of creeping death iv ever seen.
Ryley Magel You havent see moscow ‘91 yet
@@lieutenantpengui5351 this is even better than Moscow 91.
Toda la gira del black album, la tocan espectacularmente con Jason!!!
Blin Mucholli Tempo in this version is WAY better and I think it’s the best tempo. But I prefer San Diego 92 the most because of the vocals and out of those three versions Jason’s back up vocals are the best.
Same for me.
Reason why Jason was their best bassist, he was all spirit and more than a bassist, cliff was great but Jason is just amazing
Cliff was more of perfectly polished bassist that was amazing, but they weren't that big for him to fully bloom. If cliff was still alive, man, he would shred that bass way better than Mustaine, Kiko, basically any metal guitar legend
5:22 the more epic part of the song
more like 4:30
@@liammcgovney3807 facts
I have this whole gig on audio tape which i recorded live on BBC Radio 1. Still got it, the quality is excellent.
I was there. Shouting, “Skin’ead” at Jason along with everyone else.
The energy here is FUCKING AMAZING!!!
5:42-5:45...That evil look on Jason's face... fucking legendary.
BEST FUCKIN' BAND EVER!!!!!! \m/
Yep, i was there. Mini bus down from the Lake District, baking hot day and one of the greatest gigs of all time!! Happy memories, amazing day.
Yea they rocked! I am in the first 10 seconds of the video in the front row. One of the best gigs I have been to.
@HaiX_Anomaly damn, Anomaly's fan under Metallica?
My personal favorite Metallica songs:
1. CREEPING DEATH
2. RIDE THE LIGHTENING
3. FADE TO BLACK
4. ONE
5. UNFORGIVEN
EVEN LOVE THEIR NO LIFE TIL LEATHER ALBUM!
Whiplash!!
You love those all mass songs
Nothing from master? Or KEA?
My personal faves are mostly songs they haven't played yet, here's my top 5:
1: Shoot Me Again
2: Attitude
3: Thorn Within
4: Creeping Death
5: Invisible Kid
This video is pure electricity for me. THE ENERGGYYYYYY!!!
I love the aggressive guitar tone of James!
I was at this gig a few weeks before my 18th amazing...... In may I'll be watching them again a few weeks from my 40th in Vegas.
Some pretty wicked memories with the 'tallica boys!! Good on ya!!
People like shouldn't have access to internet to write things like that (just kidding 😅).
I am so jealous of you.
I WHISH I was at your age and at the same place. I was only 9, living in a shit hole somewhere with people that listen to local "music".
The best of the best of Metallica is here in Milton Keynes, 1993
3:12 damn look how happy Kirk looks, just lovin life
And then Dave was doing a interview behind stage and looking miserable 🤣
James still has that crazy look in his eye !
I feel like Jason nearly shape-shifted towards the end when his eyes go from left to right. It was awesome
Still got my Birth, School, Metallica, Death T shirt from this gig and it almost sill fits 😝
Nick Wilson my harvester of sorrow shirt JUST fits!! Good on ya!!
Wow great example of this song- Faster, harder, James sounds great, and Jason is the best backup vocals
I reccomend checking out the Mustaine interview that took place backstage. You can hear Metallica and Dave's soul becomes crushed 😆.
I don't think ppl appreciate how powerful Jason's bass is, considering how hard you have to play a bass to get that sound
“Don’t appreciate” The hell you talking about? Jason is probably the most populsr underdog in all of metallica history. I mean have you read the comments? It’s literally all Jason. All people ever talk about is Jason and how “underrated” he is. Bullshit
@@smarkmalark BUT HE WAS ABUSED WAAA WAAAA!!! Like, stfu... I hate Jason stans... He was only good for being a deadly backing vocal...
The view of lars on the drums at 3:54 is epic !!!!
He was pissed because bass was so loud
I see this concert and i feel sorry for those who only live talking about Seattle 89´, good concert, but don´t ever dare to miss this other greats concerts.
lucky dominguez this is better than seattle 89’
And metal hammerfest 1985
Washington DC in July 2003. My second birthday.
To me, roam tour was the absolute pinnacle. Not that justice, load or even magnetic or hardwired was bad.
I hate that lars does not do that drum roll at 0:44 any more
Well said!
These were the days when Lars actually played with all his body and heart. Looks like he forgot all of that. Also, his drums nowadays sound like toy drums.
@@rodrigosigoli Lars did not forget drumming. He just grew up. Look what happened to Vinie Paul. It's a tough business, you gotta take yourself.
He can't drum like it's 1993 forever. It ain't easy you know.
It's drums, Metallica drums, not piano.
@@eranshalom1336 look at Daney Carey. 2 years older than lars, and has not fallen off because he practices. He sounds the same live and in studio.
@@Alexanderwww Danny didn't tore up his body like Laes did .
Doing 3 hours show like Lars did back then , for 3 years straight, as they were playing, still very heavy and brutal , it takes a lot of more than doing prog.
Lars after the 90's had ligaments lesions, both shoulders fucked up, lower back stuff.
Not sure even you want it , if you play the same with that .
Im not excluding of what you said, but Lars struggles laters are mainly due to physical damages .
Saw this show. Megadeth opened for them. Dave even came out and played a few songs with the boys. This was my last show in the UK while I was stationed there.
Love the way Jason sings. So powerful.
After a video of dave mustaine being interviewed at Milton Keynes, somewhere in that interview metallica starts playing, i believe this is that performance.
It is
I keep getting older...music stays same age 🤘😝🤘
Jason’s bass improvisation is insane!
Is there a video on how to play it
I was in attendance
Aged 15
You dont forget days like this &
As it was very rare, sunny day
The best perfomance of Creeping Death
Amazing footage.
Definitely one of the best gigs I've ever been too.
Metallica, Megadeth, The Almighty, Diamond Head.
Memories flooding back.
Thanks for sharing.
I'm with you on this, I think Rob is a hell of a bass player but the energy that Jason had was great and the shows lack it now.
Holy mother of lord!! No wonder we liked this back then.
JASON U are funcking AMAZING!!!!! No habrá mejor performance de bajista como tu!!!!
James Please don't curse on stage...James at 0:35😂😂😂😂
Image that, if he still doing that shit on stage in nowdays
I was there, great concert remember running from the portaloos when the tune from 'the good the bad and the ugly' came on realising they were about to hit the stage. Quality vid!
20 years ago yesterday Metallica played live here fucking awesome dude Just love the entertainment from Metallica
Thanks for uploading this. I could’ve/ should’ve been there. Alas, I had to revise for A level chemistry 48 hrs later. My brother, his best friend and my best friend we’re there. I was recording it on radio 1. Saw them at Donnington in 1995 though
brilliant gig...remember it like it was yesterday, was 19 at the time...fantastic memories..
thanks for sharing this!!
you gotta love that "so let it be written..." part !
That fucking speed, energy. Metallica at their prime. Fucking legends, best band in the world!!
When Jason shouts "DIE!" people die.
This is pretty much the best warm up for friday's Sonisphere that I could hope for. Thanks to the uploader!
0:47 Jason's bass sounds like Cal .50 machine gun! \m/
This performance is slept on. Period
I feel at an extreme end of great music... while listening to this gorgeous music...genres of music are ultimately merging in metal..
Metallica: (Plays creeping death)
Jason: *(GETS POSSESED BY THE SOULS OF A THOUSAND SATANS AND A MILLION FANS)*
what a incredible video, this must be the best metallica concert on video, i finally get to hear James MONSTER GUITAR TONE in its full dimension!!
milanica channel rules!!!!
i was there! 17..... i'm old now
At their absolute peak. Firing on all cylinders. And goddamn I miss Jason being in Metallica.
This brings back memories - i was right down the front for them coming on and remember the surge, i though i was going to pop a rib or two - BRILLIANT, well done Milanica for getting this on here - will deffo be watching the rest of the gig!!!
Wow. Had the audio for this back in the day it was a simulcast on Radio 1. Awesome to see the actaul footage from a strong performance.
THEY WENT ON STAGE SO FUCKING RAW I DAMN LOVE THEIR ENERGY HERE, THEY ARE AGING BUT STILL KICKING ASS REALLY GOOD, LOVE YOU MY GODS
Dude this video can be used as an power source , because of that ENERGY !🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
Ironic how this song transcends time and is just as or even more relevant today than it ever was!
When I was in the queue for Manchester on the 28th October I was talking to somebody and they said this show was the first time they saw Metallica and he said it was absolutely breathtaking
Thanks
I was there too briilliant gig and great way to start
Pure energy!
Awsome thanks for posting. Ahhh memories, me and my wife were there. It was fucking brilliant!!
I was there in the front row.. Best gig ever! Megadeth were playing too, and their sound kept going on and off at the start of their gig! I miss Jason too.. I really don't like Rob in the band. Jason has so much energy to add to Metallica's awesomeness!!!
HOLY FUCKIN' SHIT!
Certainly one of their best performances EVER!!!
metallica arent a band anymore.......there an unstoppable wall of pure sound and energy
Miss Jason being apart of the band
You Really Have Exclusive Videos!!!!! Hands down man!!!
James had the touch in this peace! I think never had been this fast...
My 2nd Metallica show. Took about a day and a half to get there by coach from South Wales!
4:20 - 4:30, the crowd, just amazing...a mass of people all into it. Seems like concerts today they act kinda "meh"
Holy God the sound quality kicks ass!!!
Holy shit. This is Creeping Death on steroids. This has 1989 all over it. I did a double-take when I saw it was from 1993.
Rock the fuck on.
I remember this like it was yesterday, we just went mental with the fuck yeah... Man I want to go back to that day again 🤘
"Die by my hand. I creep across the land. Killing first born man. " potenza assoluta, epica inarrivabile.
e il mother fucker die è la ciliegina sulla torta. Quando erano in quattro
Due to nation wide broadcasting the BBC asked MetallicA not to use any swearing words and cursing on stage....they agreed.....until James hit the stage 😜👍 Best opening statement EVER!!!
I don't know how i got there or who I was with but i do remember that metallica were awesome that day
Me and some mates were there but not near the front.
Shit,I forgot how evil Jason sounded.
