If these code do not work for you then you will have to do the glitch, The Glitch Only works on Dash - 2.0.16203.0 and Below. This Glitch Does Not work on 2.0.16537.0... You will have to use the Codes Given Above, If None Of those work. You will have to Give Microsoft a Call.

If you’re still trying to access an Xbox 360, just chat with Xbox support. Give them the serial number and then they will give you a master reset process.

Should open a chat with the Virtual Agent. Type in "Parental Controls Reset" and then follow the prompts. Tell the agent that you just bought the xbox from a private seller and they forgot to erase Parental Controls.

try to enter in Y four times as the passcode to unlock it, it might work mine did. none of his codes worked on mine either

for anyone interested now. the new way is easy.
sign in or create microsoft account. log in to the account on the locked console.
go on your phone or pc etc and go to the microsoft website to log in to your microsoft account.
in there you can find your devices. you basically activate the xbox there. then reset and it gives you the code there.
Every xbox is different and all nedd some kind of code.
I repair xboxs and i can say that these codes have worked for me.
They just might work for you too.

Hey guys i have bad news.
microsoft has patched the new dashboard, so you can not do the turn off family settings glitch on the new dash - 2.0.16537.0 The codes will still work but you will have to contact microsoft and get them to gererate a code for you.
The guy i talked to his name was gurt or burt and he said "We have to generate a code for Each Xbox" He was Stating that the code does not work on every xbox. But I can say that some of these codes have worked on 5 different xboxs that i had.

One of the codes lower on the list reset the console for me thanks a million even microsoft couldn’t help past the first basic code string. Though they did point me to a RUclips video that had a shorter list then this and didn’t work but I found you and your list and yay it works thanks a million.

Doesn't resetting to the factory settings delete everything on the Xbox?
The guy is trying to help. His code works for some people and others it won't depending on the console and how old or new it is. I just got off with Xbox support and they gave me a code.
