Hey Kyle, love the show and you're awesome too, because you, unlike some viewers, are able to distinguish the boundary tones that dictate grammatical functions in coda position was well as pragmatic context.
Hi kyle, love the show. There is an old Jewish joke who go like this (apologize for the rough translation): Onse upon a time, the wise man of Hellem close himself in his room. For seven days and seven nights he didnt come out. Seven days he do not aet, for seven days he do not drank. His friends was worried, and they asked him what he up to. And he said: "I am thinking. What if all the seas of the world would became one giant sea, and all the trees of the world would became one giant tree, And all the men of the world would became one giant man, and all the axes of the world would became one giant axe, and the one giant man will take the one giant axe, and will chop down the one giant tree, and rhe tree will fall to the one giant sea.." "And?" His friends asked, "what then happen?" "Then", he told them, "I am thinking how high the splash get". If you are still with me, I think you are the perfect man to answer this question. Because science. Love the show by the way.
Hey there Kyle, what you are saying is that when flash travelling away or towards the observer at a some fraction of light speed, the light that is bouncing off of the flash would act weirdly , the properties like wavelength or frequency would change thus dooplershifts the visible light to bluish,if flash is running towads the observer or red if he is running away, even more the light would be not in the visible spectrum.
Finally! My Tuesday is complete! Last week it was not because you forgot about all of us to throw axes with some babe or be on Ninja Warrior or something!
Science aside, The Flash most certainly CAN run faster than the speed of light. You can't just ignore the lore of the superhero in the name of science. btw, love the show! keep up the great work and keep that wonderful hair wonderful.
You kinda already explained the flash things in another one of your videos covering the flash’s infinite mass punch, stating that as the flash approaches light speed, he will start to shift towards the blue end of the spectrum.
Love the show. No affiance to John’s comment. He’s wrong, because the sun is a fusion reactor it could just keep fusing atoms together until it’s core is a denser elements then what we have on our elemental table currently which would make its mass large enough to Super nova without making it any bigger.
I have noticed that you usually misspell (?) a metric symbol: kilo. It is a lower case "k" not a uppercase. So kilogram is kg, not Kg. And kilo electon volt is keV not KeV (Kelvin volt?). More info about those symbols can be found in wiki en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Metric_prefix. Keep up the good work!
Hey Kyle love the show 🤪. Is there any current material we could get our hands on that we could send to the surface of the sun to mine for any thing that we could use back on earth? Like the helium in futurama?
Yes, he should only be red when he's standing still. Or if he's running in a circle around you. If he's running away from you, he should be infrared though, so that's sort of red..?
Since we're talking about relatively large masses destroying our little blue sphere, how about wandering black holes? Given enough time, is there any way we could deflect our alter course of a black hole? If we could add spin, would that cause any changes?
7:40 the German only translates to thought(, mostly using further qualifiers, dictated by German grammar for less experimental thoughts and) importing Germans into both space race programs might have put "Gedanken" on the map of physicists but (like the not Frensh part of philosophy vocabulary, isn't actually clearly defined/coined in German to transport the "Gedanken" beyond it's grammatical boundaries).
This discussion on Neutrinos begs another question. Scientists wonder if Betelguese at 642.5 light years is about to go supernova, the closest star to us other than the sun is Alpha Centauri A and Alpha Centauri B, which form a binary pair. They are an average of 4.3 light-years from Earth, then Proxima Centauri which is about 4.22 light-years from Earth. The closest star that could go supernova is most likely Spica, 240 light-years from Earth. Assuming when it goes that gives us 2 centuries to do something about it, but how close would such a star need to be to Earth to be a significant threat to life on earth?
My balcony faces are really noisy Street which means I never use it so when he said that he had a balcony I was like ah jealous I wish I had a balcony.
Hey Kyle, If you had information about a catastrophic event, would you share it with the general public? Even if there was nothing mankind could do to alter it? Should people live their lives until the end oblivious to the up coming disaster or should they have the chance to make their peace? It was your topic. Calamity
Kyle, you said nothing can go faster than the speed of light because you never saw me when my mother says the food is ready. 😐 I said "food" because it's really any food. 😬
Quantum entanglement isn't technically traveling information. It's just like taking a coin and cutting the faces off each other and traveling to the other side of the earth with one of them before revealing which side you have. Nothing traveled faster than a plane ride but the knowledge that the other side is now known happens as soon as you reveal the side you have.
The same amount of light years as the radius of the universe, so about 46.6 billion light-years. Or more. And you would have to just teleport there or use wormhole, not travel there by conventional means.
Hi Kyle, The idea of Derek Casagrande to hide behind trillions of asteroids as a shield against deadly cooking neutrinos would indeed not work. But what about a serie of black holes interacting as gravitational lens, to deviate neutrinos flow out of Earth ? I think this should work :-) !
Is there any way to use this function or another formulas to see what the maximum amount of neutrino saturation we could experience which would not kill us?
If I had 3 wishes the first wish would be for the Sun to explode, so thanks for the Supernova segment. So do the neutrinos pass through each other as well? ...

It if hasn't already gone supernova, though... what can you do to make sure that you can continue to look back on your life proudly and fondly and respect the person you've been? But if you're reading this in those last 8 minutes... I hope you don't have too many regrets, and that reading this comment isn't one of them.
Why can't anything go past the speed of light? Because if its just the fastest moving thing we have observed that doesn't seem enough to justify it becoming a rule

If you're doing a thing on the flash next, I'd like to point out that there was one comic. He had a whole session with a therapist and simultaneously saved the city from a nuke (I think). Even if he can't travel faster than c though would the human brain be able to pick up "the slight flicker" of him blinking out and back in. I know you know what blinking is, you play magic.

Love the show Kyle, and love the way you think. Yes we have no way to prove or disapprove anything can go faster than the speed of light because we cannot see it with the machines we have because there’s no way in our technology could measure, currently. Maybe in about 20 to 30 years we might be technologically advanced enough to be able to see objects that go faster than the speed of light but currently we can’t so there’s no way to prove or disapprove just because you can’t see it does it make it a fact. Just because we also have not figured the way to mathematically prove something can go faster and Lake also does not mean it isn’t possible we just don’t have the mathematical equations to prove or disprove it fully currently.
If you somehow are able to travel near the speed of light wouldn't your blood and body get more massive and your heart would not be able to pump blood? So humans themselves cannot travel at near light speeds?

You didn't talk about my comment on the last episode, but I think its an interesting idea (and you talked about a kind of similar comment), so here we go again:
Do you think a black hole could shield a planet from a nutrino wave caused by a star going supernova? Since the gravity of a black hole is strong enough to pull photons toward it, it should also be strong enough to pull nutrinos, right?
So if there was a black hole exactly between a star going supernova and a planet (but not close enough to destroy the planet) it should be able to stop the nutrinos, and maybe even a lot of the stars material after that, from reaching the planet.
Btw I think the german word you were going for should have been “Gedankenexperiment“, “Gedanken“ alone just means “thought“.
In Star Wars Legends, there's actually a learnable Sith power that allows Sith to literally create Supernovas... admittedly it requires Sith ships and artifacts to pull off and they need immense skill and control (along with the common sense of realising that creating one in 'close' proximity to 9 other stars) but it is something Sith could do.

I know what i would do if i had an 8 min warning b4 the Apocalypse due to super nova... I'd have an 7 minute session with my wife until the end
"London appalling" im fuckin dead 🤣😂 i am laughing an unessecary amount to that 😂🤣
If you somehow are able to travel near the speed of light wouldn't your blood and body get more massive and your heart would not be able to pump blood? So humans themselves cannot travel at near light speeds?
You had me at "You might as well be walking on the sun". Underrated song.
Of course Flash would be red.
Every grot knows the red ones go faster.
Three times faster, according to Gundam.
