    Thanks so much for sharing this gluten free keto bread. I watched this early today and made it right away. It came out like a regular bread, right height, softness and all the air pockets. I tried so many from other contributors, some tasted like coconut cake, too ‘eggy’ or too dense and short or gummy. My husband said your recipe is definitely a keeper and has asked me to throw the ones that I did prior to this.

      Hi Alycia, I just wanted to share about the psyllium husk, I have the powdered form and it did make the bread a bit dense and I googled and found out that, “Psyllium husk can also be ground into a powder, the form most often used in cooking. Because it is more concentrated, one-half tablespoon (5 grams) of psyllium husk powder has the same nutritional composition as one tablespoon of whole psyllium husk”. I put 3 tbsp instead of 6 and it came out perfectly with lots of air pockets.

      @Jean-François Gagné no need to rest the lift comes from the baking powder and soda. The yeast is just for flavor.

    I just made this bread and it the best keto bread recipe I've tried and I've tried many, including various versions of the protein sparing variety. I only had psyllium husk powder, so taking note of your comment about your mom's bread, I added 10 g less than the recipe calls for. I used a silicone pan and although probably not necessary, I lined with parchment, which I lightly sprayed avocado oil. I have a fear of stickage. I baked 40 minutes, turning at the halfway make and the center slices were a tiny bit moist in the center. I was able to get 20 slices out of the loaf. Thanks for the great recipe!

    Made this today! Thank you for this recipe, it’s amazing how many times I have used the same ingredients combined differently with such different results. This one I quite liked, as you said it is soft n fluffy. It’s smells good too. I put lots of butter and vegemite on it because that’s what we do down here… it was yummy!

    You are amazing! I just made my first loaf. It didn't slide down my throat due to the psyllium husk and had zero almond flour! Our meal was also roast beef open faced with a lovely salad. Thanks again, grateful for you here.

    Oh how I love this heavenly bread! I have been making it twice a week for months and it has made my daily diet so that I can have cinnamon toast or almond butter toast for breakfast and there is no limit to the kinds of sandwiches I can make with this 1 carb per slice bread. You can't tell that it is keto. The bread I made last night turned out with a much higher rise! All is did differently was to add about 1/2 teaspoon more of allulose to the water and I added the egg mixture before I added the water mixture. It turned out sooo good!! Thank you for enriching my life! You are the best!

    I finally got a chance to make this bread recipe, and I'm a fan. Now I'll make this instead of the one I've been making with vital wheat gluten. I was able to get 24 slices, and the only change I made is I replaced xanthan gum with tara gum (1/4 t.). Thanks for another fabulous recipe!! I look forward to Saturday mornings because of you.

    Wow!!! This is the very best keto bread we've ever tried. Both texture and taste were better than a lot of regular breads we've had. We had fabulous ham, turkey and provolone sandwiches for dinner and loved every bite. We can't wait to try your biscuit recipe tomorrow.😋

    Just have my first loaf in the oven, fingers crossed 🤞 I live in the UK and the ingredients have taken time to find, I couldn't afford Isopure as it's over £120 a tub, it has taken me 6 weeks to get everything together, so looking forward to eating some bread again, it seems like forever ; -) thank you for this.

I did bake the bread and it came out wonderful. I got 20 slices and even though I used Psyllium husk powder and the amount you stated, my bread came out regular color and nice and hearty.     Thankyou. Decades ago i gave up the habit of bread and butter with EVERY dinner. Even when I wasn't being low carb I still didn't go back to it. Now That Ive made your bread recipe the habit is back! and I am thankful for it.

    If you use your cooling rack as a template for slices, you can get exactly eight from each half. The squares in your rack are good grid lines.

    I’ve been making keto breads for years, some were edible. None passed the husbands taste bud test though. This one has the most amazing flavor and texture, although it didn’t rise as high as yours, I’ve found that making a recipe a couple times usually fixes any kinks. The husband said this is the first one that he could actually eat, the proofed yeast flavor is so amazing!
    I then made your version of the egg white bread, that to me has the best texture and look, it even has little crumbs that fall off like real bread. But it couldn’t quite beat this bread on flavor. I’m thinking of experimenting with a both of these recipes, to kind of create the best of both worlds. I hope you do too because I find it hard to get the right amounts with experimentation.
    These are the best most bread like keto recipes and I have literally tried them all. I do not like eating pounds of nuts with nut flour baked goods or Cups of vital wheat gluten. Both of those ingredients do not sit well with me in large amounts.

    thank you for this! Most Keto recipies have nut flours like almond, and my kids are allregic to nuts! Been looking for alternatives that aren't so expensive. I also need to be gluten free, and most those breads are 5.00 each and up!

    Inulin is a great substitute for sugar to get your yeast to rise!

      You're absolutely right! I never use baking soda, powder or eggs, it rises fine with yeast only.
      I use inulin instead of sugar, a bit more yeast then with gluten and I replace the gluten with psyllium husk gel (2 tbs + 1 ts psyllium husk + 7 tbs boiling (!) water for 2 baguettes). Stir and you have a gel. Mix immediately to your dough. I usually let it rise 50 minutes. Bake straight after, don't try dubbel rise, that doesn't seem to work without gluten. Or perhaps someone found a solution for that too?

    I bake sourdough bread all the time with wild wet yeast. The dry yeast you use is 20x more powerful than wet yeast. Dry yeast does not need sugar (honey etc) to activate, just put in warm water for 15 min. The rising of this loaf is due primarily to the amount and strength of this dry yeast.

    I am DYING to get out of this hospital, go home, and bake! You have no idea just how freakin’ JAZZED I am to cook again oh my god. I want to try this sooooo bad. I’m type two diabetic, so bread is really difficult for me to have. There are so many recipes I wanna try, and your channel is really high my list of priorities for recipes to try. Bread? SNICKERS!? Caramel!! All things I was told I couldn’t have as a diabetic, and here it is, lower carb and lower sugar! So, you bet your butt I’m gonna try a lot of this stuff when I get home.

    I made this a couple days ago. I like it. Doesn't taste like the real toast bread like your other recipe with the vital wheat gluten, but tastes more like that Hawaiian Bread you can buy in the store (sweeter with a touch of coconut). I only used 1 tablespoon of Monkfruit. I didn't have the other she used, but it didn't taste grainy or anything like she had mentioned in the video. It is denser, like a banana bread (or that is how mine came out). I didn't have isolate so I used regular whey powder so it may have altered the feel/taste. Not sure but I'll make it again! Hubby is not keto and he liked it too.

    I just made it and it tastes great. I followed the recipe to the letter with a digital scale but for some reason the dough was more like thick pancake batter that poured and self leveled in the pan. It baked through in 35min but mine did not have the nice puffy crest with the crack. More like deflated souffle. I need to cut at least 1/2 cup of water or use small eggs to get the same consistency. This will be my official go to keto bread other then the 90 second microwave bread.

    The only keto channel I can trust when it’s said the recipe tastes good!!!
    Can I use whey protein concentrate instead of isolate? I know concentrare has more carbs and fat but it's all i currently have

    Beautiful consistency but way too sweet for me. This will be my go-to bread from now on. I'll just cut way back on the sugar substitute. Love your recipes, which are consistently lower carb than many on RUclips. I'm so glad I found you.

    My mother like this recipe.....I do too. I might just changed the amount of yeast in it though as I felt it was a little strong (my preference). It goes great with butter and jam since it more of a denser type. I love that it is lower in carbs.....

    Inulin is a prebiotic low calorie sweetener that feeds the yeast as well but I don't know how effective it is at giving lift and rise to keto breads as there's not really much of mesh matrix structure like gluten to trap the bubbles but it's an option. It could give it that extra stronger fermenty sour flavour if that's what you prefer. It's 10x's less sweet than sugar so I like to add allulose or other sweeteners as well.

    I love your recipes. The buttermilk biscuit is my favorite. But I really would love a no gluten bread recipe for a bread machine. There is currently only one really good bread recipe that I've found and it uses a lot of wheat gluten. It is delicious but it wrecks me from the inside out. You would be a hero to all of the bread machine owners if you could do this thing for us.

      @@KetoUpgrade Please, please, please borrow one or get your own. My husband bought the "Zojirushi" bread machine for me as a gift. I love it but haven't tried all of the functions, yet. It is an amazing time saver; get up in the morning, spend a few minuets putting in the ingredients, choose the course and start. Three hours later I have a fresh loaf of beautiful bread loaded with gluten. I've done the whole baking bread by hand. No thank you.

      @@Micheolene lol I just have a problem with too many appliances plus my kitchen has all my video equipment in it too. Need to expand, lol. Hopefully it won't be another 10 tests like the last bread. I think I'll try doing a kind of brioche bread in the bread maker.

    I finally got all the ingredients and made my first loaf tonite! Mine turned out a darker brown on the outside. Because of this, I only baked it for about 32 minutes and even though I tested it in several places for doneness, it did have a wet spot in the middle. I tried cooking it a little longer at a low temp but then gave up and just decided to "toast out" any excess moisture. I'm thinking that next time I'll probably try 345 degrees and go the full 40 minutes. It seemed to need a bit more salt as well, but I think it's going to be great when I get all the little tweaks worked out! I totally agree with you that it smells delicious and it's a very healthy and filling bread! Thank you for this much needed bread contribution to the Keto World! :) Oh, I did have kind of a pointy peak at one end. Do you think this happened because of not being fully mixed and maybe having a bit too much baking soda or powder in that area?

      I always say all ovens are different, and all recipes may need adjusting according to your oven especially big loaves of keto baked goods. You are very welcome, I hope you enjoy better after the tweeks! Could possibly be the case, that's why I always say to sift and whisk all the dry ingredients together first before adding to the wet.     try adding the yeast to warm water with 1/2 tsp honey or sugar and sit in a warm oven for a few minutes to activate. Just dont add salt until the very end.

    I have got to try this. The other bread recipe I tried had a good flavor, but because of the texture with the almond flour, it reminded me more of a cornbread, so I'm gonna put a couple of drops of corn extract in THAT recipe and see if I can use it another way. THIS seems more like a multi-grain bread, and I gotta try it!! Thanks again!!

    I made this bread today. Sadly, even though it looked done and my toothpicks all came out clean, there was an undone part in the upper middle of the bread. Still, it tastes great and toasts well so I just ate toast with blackberry "jam". The recipe is great, next time, I will bake a bit longer though.

      I usually temp it, don't always get the same temp but over 180 it was always done. Glad you enjoyed it though! Happy baking!

    I don't have room for a big mixer. Can I use my hand mixer? Also, I use dry yeast out of a jar instead of packets, so how much yeast powder should I use?

      yep, just do the same thing I do with a hand mixer, your arm may get a little tired but it's a good workout! A packet of yeast is 2 1/4 tsp.

    I have been using The Keto King’s bread recipe for the last year or so, but it does contain vital wheat gluten, however, it is so versatile as I use it for loaf bread, French bread, naan, and pizza crust. I will try your recipe as it looks to be more suited for sandwiches like grilled cheese. I’m glad I found your channel. Darlington, South Carolina

    Made this today. Pretty darn good! I wish it was a little less dense. It seemed to bounce and look like your bread on the video. I wonder if I whip the eggs better, maybe it will make it a little more fluffy?

    Can't wait to make this! I made pizza dough with vital wheat gluten & had horrible belly blow bloat. I thought maybe oat fiber did it but since you mentioned the vwg, it turned the lightbulb on. Thanks for your great recipes & labor of love. I'm making your pumpkin roll today but with my normal cream cheese, butter, van, & sweetener like the old style I love.       Yeah the coconut flour I use is great value organic coconut flour and it even smells a lot less like coconut the bob's red mill. And less than a few other brands I've tried. Glad you liked it and hope you enjoy more recipes!!!

    I’m with you not being able to eat bread is so hard. I’ve made keto bread, texture was ok but was so dry you could choke, ugh. I don’t know why it was so dry. Looking forward to trying this recipe. Thank you 🙏

    Good morning! I started watching your cookie video. Then saw this one!! OK. Got my attention!! I SUBSCRIBED! I think I am willing to buy the ingredients you used that I usually shy away from because hard for me to find. Think I will invest in a digital scale and immersion blender.     I made this again today and added more sweetener and a little cinnamon. It's really good. I have tried nearly all of the spin offs of Maria's PSMF breads and still don't like them and also don't like the expensive ingredients. Maybe it is just me.

      Hi Alicia, I have not tried this recipe yet but I will today. I need a better alternative for my Thanksgiving 2022 dressing. The PSMF bread is just not for me and my husband who is just starting keto hates it. So, fingers crossed, I hope he likes this recipe. He really likes your cream cheese danish recipe and cranberry orange muffins. Thanks for all that you do for this keto community; I don’t feel like keto means sacrificing all of my favorites anymore. Your channel is my favorite keto channel for baking because you do not use almond flour which one of my kids is allergic to. You are amazing!🎉

    I wonder if you used half the amount of whey protein and swapped that 1:1 with Lupin flour, and if you used inulin in your mixture to feed the yeast?

      Maybe but whey gives a fluffier texture, I would swap the coconut flour but you will have to use 3x as much lupin. I did experiment with lupin on this recipe and it turned out good. But I have an allergy to nuts in the family so I stopped using it.

    I've seen some negative reviews on the quality of Naturtonix oat fiber being inconsistent and no longer white. Do you still recommend it?

      The last brand I bought was nu Naturals and it was good. That brand did change but none of the oat fibers I buy are white, usually a light tan.

      Just mix the dry ingredients with a hand whisk. Whip the eggs on any speed until double in volume. Mix the dry ingredients on low speed while adding the water and yeast mixture, mix until just combined then add the egg mixture and beat on medium until fully mixed, Sorry I don't time how long it takes to mix, unless it's a really long time.     Question, Can I use Monk fruit sweetener instead of Allulose?

      yes but the bread won't be as soft or browned. And if you are talking monkfruit/erythritol, that is 1:1 with sugar, allulose isn't as sweet as sugar. So you wouldn't need as much. If you are talking pure monkfruit only a tiny amount will be needed.

I noticed on the ingredients below you do not include the heavy cream powder. Are you still using it when you make your bread? Wes with HighFlaughtin' Low Carb needs to use your recipes in his bread battle and many this other low carb battles. Looking forward to making many of your yummy recipes including the Lava Cake!       Flavor, I tried adding honey but I think it's too heavy of a dough to rise much but I only let it proof for an hour, it might need longer, I'm just impatient.

      I did when I first made the recipe but it never rose but that was before I knew about inulin which is a fiber that works to activate yeast. And before I knew keto baked goods need a little higher temp. to proof. So it may work if you change those two things. I should revisit this recipe one day and do some experiments with what I've learned since.

    So what is the breakdown of price per loaf? We can get Lewis zero carb bread here where I live for about $5-$6 a loaf. Would this be cheaper to make?

      I don't know the only reason I figure out cost is if i'm selling it, plus where you are ingredients may cost different prices then where I am. My egg white bread cost $4.99 for me to make in NY.

    Mine came out kind of dense. Has anyone attempted to let the dough "rise", just in case it would actually do that?
