The thing about that part of the message is that, its not that the Lord has left us, but we have walked away from him and we are basically in routine mode, and this doesn't apply just towards leaders, but to all that profess Christ as they're savoir, you can be in a reprobate state of mind.

my friend told me that many preachers are genuinely called but along the line they go ahead of themselves. jesus has a covenant with God that if I dare mess up (before I have consumated the mess up) he will put me in order speedily, it is better to be chastened by the Lord and even embarassed then to stray away far. The problem I find with messages like this isn't that the message isn't true or that God didn't reveal these things to prophet Carns, but where's the love, where's the hope for a persons redemption, the Lord shows us things for a reason, not to go out and say "I gotcha" nor to just know something about somebody, but he entrust us with these understandings for the sake that we can be the one person or persons that will have the heart and mind to seek him for their deliverance. if a brother or sister is overtaken in a fault, ye which are spiritual restore such a one in the spirit of meekness unless ye yourselves be tempted. a lot of the comments I see bare no fruit of spiritual maturity, but flesh exalting itself. we have this thing all wrong, its not about us and our calling, but the responsibility God has placed upon us. we're so dead set out to be the focus of attention we don't seek God with the right motives to find out why did he reveal this thing to me. In this message, I hear flesh more than the spirit of the Lord.

The anointing with oil and the laying on of hands is a sign for the poeple that this person has been anointed for this position. But there is also an anointing in the spiritual sense. This is more of an empowerment and Godly approval for the position and service that you will take on later. God's anointing usually happens first and him taking it away usually happens before you are
