Not only are they both incredibly tasteful and creative players, but they also seem like two of the nicest, most humble dudes around. Can’t get enough of them!
Uncle Larry and GT are the perfect complement to each other… Just truly amazing, the both of them! And love Uncle Larry’s infectious spirit, amazing playing and just the way he commits 110% all the time. Inspirational….
What an amazing duo...Tom has an extra warp drive that few guitarists have access to and Guthrie is just the perfect sparklin, articulate partner to him...talk about rockin', Tom is the best! Guthrie is amazing, just a tasty soloist.
@@KennethMoyer-t3y so where's your keyboard cheering? I'll give the whole band some love but two guys really stood out to me watching that clip....I'd have had the organ solo before the guitars...they're a tough act to follow. Choices

Yes and when he’s playing fast every note is a winner. Unlike the wealth of shedders out there playing tasteless crap just to show how fast they can play.
@shinjial you need to catch up with all of his homeskoolin RUclips videos. On some of them, he plays faster and cleaner and more effortlessly than a mere human could...
Watch the Honky Tonk neon light episode where he’s sitting on a stool with a telecaster… It’s 14 1/2 straight minutes of a amazing uncle Larry goodness, and has some great shredding sections. Just quite remarkable!🤯sublime
holy cow Tom absolutely SAVAGED that intro and outro. I don't think I've had the opportunity to see Tom be so on it at that tempo. He clearly came in top form...and that Goldtop has some special juice. Beautiful overdrive like liquid fire thru those PAFs.... Inspired me for sure!
I don’t think there is anything Tom can’t do. He’s one of the best players on the planet. Have you seen the Paul Davids video where Paul has people play a solo or a track he makes. @501chorusecho SMASHES it man . His part fit seamlessly over Paul Davids track. None of the rest are even close to his level of precision overlay . Tom’s part is towards the end of the video.. I didn’t need to watch anyone after his part. So thoughtful and tasty. There’s a reason he’s one of the most sought after guitar players on the planet. Go watch the Paul Davids video ruclips.net/video/SqkCONb4-L4/видео.htmlsi=WOC8jtCnaKtIPknw
Channeling through the ether. It’s what I see too. Tom connects to the feel of the music energy. Wonderful to watch. So refreshing! Play on Uncle Larry.
Ive had this on repeat for days with my Les Paul and Telecaster sitting in front of the screen making them watch it… . Surely they will pick some of it up ? Right??
When Tom asked Guthrie to play a solo, I was like “WAIT! I’m still tryin to UN-melt my damn face from YOUR solo” 🫠 Guthrie rose to the challenge though. Mad respect to him for not exiting stage right instead 😂
No kidding I agree. Then when he says on 4 go to D , and he really throws down. He definitely has a direct connection to wherever it all comes from. I jokingly say, you can sit any guitar player down with a guitar and within 30 minutes they will show you every trick they know. I’ve been watching @501chorusecho Mr Buk for 4 years and he has not repeated anything yet. But dang it has helped widen my guitar awareness
Well, that is what I call music! Thanks for offering this to my old ears! You all there are fantastic musicians and nice, humble people! Please, more of that! Thanks from Austria!!
What music lover in their right mind would say something negative about this?????? Thank you so much for posting. I just bought their CD off Bandcamp and as soon as this video is done, it is going to 10 on the amp. Cheers.
Oh there’s ALWAYS at least one who wants to talk crap. This video wasn’t posted 10 minutes and a clown started talking bad about them. Tom saw it and responded before I saw it. I apologized to him then blocked the guy.
OMG, You guys were on FIRE! So musically fluid and dynamic. The unsung hero's in this tune (Bass and drums) were absolutely on the money too. Guthrie and Uncle Larry, thank you for all you do! WOW. Just Wow!!! PS: I'm gonna have to put together a turntable HiFi system at home just because I want to buy your record and burn grooves in that sucker!
This is a corrected statement. It was flagged for copyright by the song’s publishing owners not Jedd Hughes. They asked too take it down so I did. Jedd was kind enough to email me to say it wasn’t him behind it.
Totally! They need to get a top-notch Nashville publicist to start promoting In Stereo for a Grammy for instrumental album of the year, it's that damn great. The CDs were sold out when I went to order one, but it was recently available on MP3 on Amazon, so bought it and it's playing every day in my car via bluetooth from my iPhone when I'm running errands. The sound quality of the recording is just as good as the stellar playing. There ain't a weak track on it. These guys are just the best, wish them all the success in the world, they deserve it after all the years they've put in mastering their instruments.
