Bringing real music back to Bleecker St. The Bitter End is one of the last vestiges of great live music in the village and for that matter NY. These guys just added to the list of greats that graced that stage.
I can't get over how respectful the audience is. Nobody is having loud conversations, and everyone is enjoying themselves and the music. I haven't been to a concert like this in many years.
City Winery here is largely the same way. They usually begin each show with an announcement that this is a music appreciation venue and that it's respectful and proper to not talk during the performance.
What a song. Leaves me breathless. Sweet tone all around topped by that incredible groove. Jeff Beck, Beck Beatles, Gilmore, etc. All mixed together. What a sound. Thanks for the post!!
Thanks this was basically hip shot so I didn't get in the way or distract anyone, so for the most part I couldn't even see the screen and just tried to point the camera module in the right direction. I didn't actually see the results until I got home. So glad people are enjoying it so much and that I was able to preserve it. There is something really special happening with this band right now.
Tom - Please bring this to the Belly Up Tavern. Solana Beach, California. Legendary venue and you guys would kill there. I'll bring in the first 50 people myself.
That probably describes Tom Buks playing perfectly at times. I think when he’s free to be himself and not accommodate for an artist, that is what comes through. Also some crazy prog rock stuff too 🤟🏻
How good can a reissue deluxe, a few carefully selected pedals, and a travel-friendly partscaster sound in the right hands? Well here’s three examples. Thanks for posting.
Due to being terminally ill/bed bound I livestreamed all 3 nights and enjoyed the shows via nice size TV AV Receiver... To answer your question,. Hell yes! 😊 On this evening especially, closing night, he really broke out and showed all of his chops! So truly grateful for the livestreams and being able to re-watch them! 🎶🤍🕊

The sound from that Strat is heavenly!
Man you ain't kidding.

When Tom played that solo on The Window in the other video you could hear a pin drop, it was amazing.

Love it. Good work Nicky the Poet!
What a band
Great song. Sounds like a cross between Jeff Beck and Pink Floyd.
That probably describes Tom Buks playing perfectly at times. I think when he’s free to be himself and not accommodate for an artist, that is what comes through. Also some crazy prog rock stuff too 🤟🏻
Maybe a little bit of Beatles in there too
My wife heard elements of Pink Floyd too. I was hearing a little Beatles influence as well.
