Who else is a bit pleased when Matt turns around the camera and Andrea is there? Nothing against any guest hosts who all do fine, but these two have this down to a science - a well-oiled, tried and true system - as well as excellent chemistry. Seems I can relax more.
Hi Matt, This comment is specifically for you. I understand how important a porcelain toilet is to you. I am not sure how much more they weigh? But please keep in mind, the cargo carrying capacity on your ‘22 Jayco grey hawk is 1,238 lbs. that to me is the bigger concern. This max weight, is not much, when you consider. You have to add, the water, all your personal items, any out door camping equipment. Like a BBQ, extra propane tanks, tables, camping chairs. Food, and don’t forget how much a large case of bottled water weighs. Try bringing 5 cases of water on a trip, in the middle of the summer. Then add the body weight of everyone in the RV. Heck 5 adults at 200 lbs, bam, your almost there. I know from personal experience. We own a 2019 Jayco Redhawk 31XL, and I think that model is close to 1,000 lbs. when you think about it, you can pack that in pretty fast. When that model comes with bunk beds and sleeps 9 people maximum. Keep up the great video’s, been a fan from your first year on air. I’ve learned a lot and grown with your show. Sorry I won’t make your Florida show, as we live in California. Respectfully Mark PS The RV you previewed this week, the little 24 foot, class C, with the flip up bed and the rear door. I think you mentioned that cargo carrying capacity was just a little over 2,000 lbs. On our next RV purchase, we will come and see you. My focus, the next time we purchase will be, cargo carrying capacity. We have a large family and bring a lot of them with us. Thanks again for reading
I like 1) the pocket doors, 2) the theater seats, 3) the large storage area with three entries. I dislike 1) no storage drawers under the dinette, 2) the plastic toilet. Other wise I love this coach. Thank you Matt and Andrea!
Cockpit. I’m not sure why since I’ll be in the driver’s seat, but I’m always kind of disappointed when the passenger seat doesn’t have one of those pull-out desks. Dinette: I’d actually rather have a drawer than piano hinges. That way you can get the stuff you’re storing without taking apart the seats or unmaking the bed. I really love the TV placement-no window behind it, which is big when you’re trying to watch TV. But yes again, no head rest on the recliners. Argh. Kitchen: I’d like to have a pantry. Bath: Plastic toilet. Boo. Plus the toilet/shower area is small. I’d be perfectly happy without a dinette, (just add tables by the cockpit and theater seating), if it made space for a larger bath and an actual pantry.
LOVE the Jayco Grey Hawk … Likes: 1) TV and fireplace 2)Recliners 3) No Carpet … Dislikes 1)Small Shower 2)Both Dinette with No Drawers 3) Piano Hinges & 30 Amp Class C … as always Thanks Matt & Andrea for this Great Video .. #MattsRVReviewRocks
spot on with the three dislikes 👍🏻 Love the bed position, Andrea was correct about how great those doors are also how boring the blinds are. Also like that the overhead bunk holds 750 lbs.
I got my RV LIFE Account, and used your discount code. Thanks for the discount guys, this is actually a great app!! This JAYCO Class C is making me rethink my travel trailer 🤨! The lack of hinges under the dinette is a lost opportunity. Lets get them piano hinges, and get that wood some color. Three things we love ❤1-Dinette and sofa on the same side, 2-bunk over cab capacity, 3-walking space with the slides closed. Three things we hate 👎 1-sink outside of toilet room (hands opening door after use, before washing is "no bueno"), 2- inadequate storage access under the dinette, 3-driver side night stand for C-PAP (not enough room) BONUS HATE thing 4- no large window over the bunk.
Definitely on my list of RV possibilities. I’m a travel nurse living in a 19 ft TT looking to upgrade to a Class C. Love the floor plan, Swivel front seats, theater seating. Agree valances need a different look, storage under seats, and porcelain toilet. Thanks for review. Making my research easier. Gypsy Nurse
Guys what is up with the CCC of only 1200lbs?! I LOVE this floorplan but that ccc is a deal breaker right out of the gate. I'm 200lbs so if you add my wife and our 3 Bullmstiffs were down to less that 450 lbs and that's with empty tanks! For an E450 chassis that is completely unacceptable - though it may explain the plastic toilet. Too bad because otherwise it's a beautiful class C. Three things I dislike: (1) CCC (2) oven instead of convection microwave (3) did I mention the horrific CCC? Three things I like: (1) Mid-cabin TV and fireplace (2) bedroom design and non-fold bed (3) slam latch exterior doors Great layout Jayco!
Totally agree with Andrea about those doors. That would be a deal breaker for me if they weren't solid doors. I can handle the valances however a new design would be welcomed.
You two do the best job at showing the units hands down from all that I have seen!! I am either buying this 30z or the entegra this year. I like that the entegra has the outside tv and can window but I like the slam latches and the solar and 2 ac units are standard on this unit! Great job wish I could make to to Florida to see ya all.
For anyone unfamiliar the 7.3 is a blast from the past, push rod engine I believe port fuel injected aka reliable. As someone who owns a diesel id rather have the 7.3 Godzilla. The old style was dohc v10 which wasn’t as reliable, I own the pushrod version of the v10 which was great but bad fuel mileage
Have one since first of December, most new bugs worked out. Plastic toilet works fine, don’t mind valences. The little tabs for holding dinette cushions, just don’t work, they are garbage, but an easy fix. It must be obvious they don’t work so why use them.. Great video Matt and beautiful A.
Put some piano hinges in those benches!! Agreed, I love the light cabinets and touch of dark. Nice fireplace and shiplap. Love the floor plan. Hate the toilet.
Liked the mix of wood colors, loved the so,I’d surface countertop, the north-south bed and sliding doors. Dislikes: plastic toilet, no piano hinges, kitchen cabinets should have hidden hinges. The valances, I’ve seen worse, but I’d definitely change them out. Great review you two! You looked like you were having fun with each other.
I would like to suggest a medium size single sink in the kitchen so there is more room near the tower of power for an instant pot. Drawers under the benches at the dinette. Also, an articulation mount for the tv so it can be pulled out a bit and turned toward the front of the cab. For me to purchase this unit, the shower/toilet room would need to be about a foot wider. For instance a 30"x36" shower and more room for the toilet (which should be porcelain). Not sure what the size of the bed is but it sure seemed small. I thought the CCC was a bit low. Other than those valances, it is a very nice unit. Good job.
Really love the layout Love the colors Like the Theater seating facing tv/fireplace Dislike that there is no sink in with toilet Dislike that no easy access to storage to dinette Dislike no pull out extra kitchen counter space Love you guys💕 love your RUclips reviews
No piano hinges! Don’t like LP fridge and plastic toilet. Prefer induction stove. But love the fireplace! Like the storage cabinet by the entryway for shoes. Really like the bedroom and outdoor storage. See you in Tampa Matt & Andrea!
Yes short makes things bit crowded. Likes;floor plan, storage latches, pocket doors. Disses; storage under dinette(lift out plywood sliver city), valances style not right (solid color?) Sink maybe single give bit more counter?
I agree I was wondering about the TV too..looks the only ones that can see it is the two seats. But love everything else about this unit. And a U shaped dinette would be the bomb!
No deal breakers on this beautiful rig, but I agree with everything you would change, those valences are ugly, just make them 1 solid color. And either piano hinge, or even better, the slide out drawers that go under the dinette benches.
Matt / Andrea, This is an awesome RV!! A couple of things… 1. Isn’t that a 30” x 36” shower (see floorplan)? Matt mentioned that it’s a 24” x 36”. 2. A dislike that you’ve pointed out on other RV’s is the step-up in the bedroom. A magnet for stubbed toe! 3. The TV placement is perfect!
I like the bathroom area the most. I love the slide out doors that are out of the way when not in use. I've grown to love the sink being outside the bathroom, so that a person could be brushing their teeth or shaving or doing hair or makeup while another person is in the bathroom. Lastly, a minor correction is that the floorplan shows the shower as being 30x36, which is a bit bigger than the 24x36 that Matt said in the video. For us bigger folks, it makes a lot of difference so that we're not banging elbows on doors and walls in the shower.
Hi Matt and Andrea! My dislikes are the plastic toilet like Matt says I’ll talk to him first to get me a porcelain toilet. Lol! Also don’t like the valances and no storage for the dinette. 3 things I like about this jayco are the bunk bed the layout. The theater seats across from tv. Thank you Matt and Andrea.
For the price the only big changes I’d make would be an enclosed wet bay, pull out drawers under the dinette, a 12v compressor fridge and I always prefer a convection microwave instead of an oven! Otherwise I really like pretty much the entire unit (I can easily live with a plastic toilet)! The slam latch doors, fireplace, double ACs, bathroom doors, general layout… not much to dislike!
Like #1 access to sleeping and bathroom with slide outs in, #2 Slam Latch doors, #3 the spaciousness/floor plan.....dislikes #1 valences, #2 fridge (should be compressor, two way is so 1980) #3 SLIDES......can we get an RV from you from up here in Canada?
I saw this RV today and came on to see what y’all say about it. This is by far my favorite floor plan. I love it!!! It is perfect for our needs. No piano hinges though!!!! 😊
Great floor plan ! Love those doors , the recliners are awesome but most of all lots of storage . I am Looking for a class B+ to be able to park almost anywhere. I will look for you guys on Wednesday hopefully you guys will help Me out to find a class B+ under 100K. “ common now”…. Matt and Andrea do your magic . Love you guys !!!
Love this layout! 3 things I like: the usability with the slides in, the pocket doors, and the exterior slam latch doors! 3 things I don’t like: the plastic toilet, the fact that it doesn’t have a kitchen counter extension, the dinette back doesn’t flip down for the driver. Two questions about this RV - shower height? My husband is 6’4”. And, is that a queen bed? Last question. For Matt & Andrea: what are the “best” RV’s for a 6’4” driver? Thanks for all that you guys do!
We will call Matt's RV Review's when we are ready to purchase a RV. It's also that time. 3 things we love about this unit: Likes, fireplace across from TV and out side slatches. No much i don't like about the unit except the price. Love the unit. Thanks Matt & Andrea
Nothing against Matt and Andrea. But I enjoy it when they have taller people involved, more realistic to see how it will be for a taller individual. Rv is awesome, love the jayco brands.
Apparently, there’s a shortage of piano hinges and porcelain toilets and they got the adobe valence fabric on clearance and bought every last yard! 😂😂😂
Absolutely love this unit and the layout. It's perfect for me and my little Frenchie to travel in style. Love that it has an oven because I like to bake. The space with the slides out is great and I really like the bedroom layout N/S Bed. Dislikes are the valances they should offer choices in the style you can get. The plastic toilet is really a bummer. The lack of piano hinges is also a bummer. Overall, I love this unit and would really love to have one. Hopefully, I can get to the RV show to meet Matt and Andrea in person.
Completely agree with the criticism of a plastic toilet, tacky valences and poor dinette storage. I seldom comment but am motivated by how great great great this motor home is in every other way.
Just bought a 30z, picking it up Saturday. Quality looks so much better than others we looked at. One thing I didn’t see was a ladder for the bunk over cab. Hoping we really like it.
- Needs to have an ladder for the outside along with a bigger solar panel. - That is ghetto no piano hinges under the bench seats. I thought Jayco was supposed to be a quality company. How long have people been complaining about no piano hinges? Come on! + Exterior slam latch doors as well as the great storage at the rear.
Like the theatre seating and general layout but if you swivel the front seats you can’t see the TV from them. Also there is only one wardrobe - should make one or both of the storage areas next to the bed into small wardrobes. Like the slam latch doors. Wish the refrigerator was 12 volt.
Another good video, Matt and Andrea. I have many dislikes of this rig… not a fan of the step in bedroom.. do not like headboard (needs windows) do not like the bathroom layout, do not like door around the corner from kitchen sink, do not like valances (yawn!), do not like small amount of kitchen counter space… I do like exterior storage and bunk overhead cab. There you go… half a dozen things I dislike about his unit and a couple things I do like. PS… Husband and I always guess MSRP before you announce and I nailed this one! Have fun in Tampa!
Hey Andrea (and Matt). It was so nice meeting you at the show in Tampa. I had no idea that Andrea had lived near us in Abingdon, MD many moons ago. Andrea is definitely your better half Matt. She is so gracious and does a great job of balancing you out. Plus she’s so much prettier than you! 😉 You guys make a great team. Keep up the wonderful work!
I agree, porcelain toilet would be a must have. I'm surprised it was included with the nice RV. The dinette under storage lids would be a lot better with the hinges added making the access to the storage a lot easier. I also think pull out drawers under the dinette seats would be an asset. Great review as usual!
Hi Matt. I love your reviews and have been watching for a long time, always entertaining and nice to see hot weather. Please don’t take this the wrong way but am concerned over your weight and unable to zip up your trousers (pants) fully. Love both of you to bits & good luck with the Tampa Show 🇬🇧🦆💕
I had to laugh, 43.5-gal fresh water, not 43 or 44 but 43.5.... And folks, those fireplaces do work really well, and they look cool too. Matt, tell your boss instead of the $100.00 gift card he should say, "I'll eat a bug". That was a pitch by a car dealer in Southern California in the 1980's. Poclain potties were on backorder the day they made that one. All in all, a nice Class C.
Please, please, please Jayco, ditch the valances. Evertime I see them, I want to set all that fabric on fire and enjoy the burn 🔥 😁. Only reason I could accept the plastic toilet is that they ran out of the porcelain ones. Right with you guys on no piano hinges in the dinette. I'd prefer pull outs under the dinette. Great floor plan otherwise. Can't wait to see you in Tampa.
Not much to dislike on this unit, floorplan is awesome, great outside storage and the kitchen is great. Having both the dinette and theater seats with a nice TV is great along with the 450 chassis is really nice!! If I bought this unit I would change out the microwave to a convection microwave, install solar panels to boondock. Both my little wife and dogs would love this unit!!
Likes: floorplan (easy access with slides in & TV location), exterior storage size with slam latches, cameras in side mirrors. Dislikes: refrigerator should be a 12V compressor fridge, small drawers in bedroom, lack of Washer/Dryer hookup (i understand that some other sacrifices might be needed, but an optional W/D hooukp would make this a "slam dunk")
I love the farmhouse look, but that wall near the couch looks cheap! That oven is tiny! Just make the microwave a convection! Why an extra sink in the hallway? I like that the divider is a real door, but they could have given a real toilet and saved on weight with a fake door. I like that they had different color cabinets in bedroom. It seems very roomy and comfy. I could really relax in this one. *What a cute outfit, Andrea!
OMG! 😱 WE JUST TOOK ONE OF THESE FOR A TEST DRIVE! ❤️Y’all - my husband is 6’4”, and built like a football player. He had NO TROUBLE driving this unit! ❤️ #jayco - His only complaint about driving was that the headrest hit him too low and pushed his shoulders forward. BUT, the way it’s designed, he was able to recline enough with the slides in! ❤️ AND THE SPACE - with the slides in….sooooooo amazing!!!! ❤️ And the outdoor AND indoor storage! ❤️ Wow! #jayco - My only changes would be to have a king bed option, a convection microwave (though I did like the size), and a 30X36 shower, but none of those were dealbreakers. Hubby could stand in the shower with no problem! And, I can fit my shower seat in it (I am an amputee and have to use one). LOVE the REAL pocket doors instead of accordion❤️, the usable bed with the slide in❤️, the fireplace❤️, the TV placement❤️, the shade in the exterior door❤️, and the roller shades!❤️ oh wait - I agree with Matt & Andrea - #jayco - please give us piano hinges (or something) for dinette storage, and please use porcelain toilets! Other than that, SERIOUSLY, THIS model is at the TOP of our list!🥳
Piano hinges are being added MY23. Jayco did attempt slideout drawers in the dinettes several years ago, however it drastically reduces the overall storage volume in the booth. It's a give and take, as well as a price point issue (including that plastic toilet), considering all of the other awesome standard features already on the coach.
I hate the sink location in the kitchen. Oven waaaaay to small and valance not up to date I love the dinette sitting area just as you come in and behind the driver I can craft as he drives love the pocket doors and love the fireplace almost a perfect unit
the space over the bed no1 uses, So u need a way to hang closes over bed but w/a wave of a wand it all flush fits in 6or 8" 10 most can't see bc just looks like ceiling detail when closed.
I have a 2021 redhawk. I love it but we have a plastic toilet and we don't even use the under dinette storage because there is no hinges. Please Jayco these floor plans are so good why mess it up over these little things.
Not a fan of the bathroom, don’t like the valences and need piano hinges on the dinette seats. Love all the room to walk through when slides are in. Love the overhead bunk capacity. Love the pocket doors. Love watching your reviews.
Privacy is important. How is there privacy between the cab & the main area? RVers don't want ppl peering in through the front windshield or cab windows.
I like all the storage, the floor plan, and yes...I like the valances. I don't like the position of the kitchen sink, the lack of a ladder to get on the roof, and the lack of solar.
Are Jayco/Integra selling a basic floor plan with different attachments and calling them different names because the best attachments are difficult to obtain in sufficient quantity?
❤️ 750 lbs over an bunk ❤️ slam latch storage doors ❤️ big kitchen table ❤️ auto leveler’s ❤️ big fan of 2 ac’s 😡 WAMP wAMP potty 😡 bedroom top cabinets by bed should be wardrobe 😡 CHANG THE VALENCES…lol
I can really like this except why are the bedroom Cabinets dark? I want them the same as the Front. And yes the Toilet must be porcelain and the Door of the Bathroom needs towel Bars and max fans throughout
Thanks guys! This is the layout we're looking for. But...only 1200# of cargo is really disappointing for a rig this size. I was expecting in the 1800# range... My 27' travel trailer is 991# And what's the deal with only 1 window in the loft, like it was an afterthought? The fireplace and popup TV are nice, but now you've lost that storage area...
#jayco: 4 or 6 piano hinges won't break the bank; or you could install drawers under dinette seating. Hate the plyboards, at least sand the edges to avoid splinters. Plastic toilet? Blah. And you and #entrgra have used the same valance design for the last 2 seasons. A solid color would be better. Otherwise, this is a great model. 👍
LIKE THE KITCHEN THE LIVING ROOM THE SLIDING DOORS TO THE BATHROOM DON’T LIKE NO PANTRY NO PLASTIC TOILET NO PIANO HINGES JAYCO PLEASE ADD PIANO HINGES
Rvone promises $1000.00 Refundable deposit. No catches. Well we decided Not to get the rv after one day. It's been over two weeks and still no refund. Not happy.
Nice unit appreciate the night stands on each side of the bed for twin cpaps. Don't like the plastic toilet!! Keep up the good work Matt and Andrea. Thank you.
Thanks for your reviews Matt and Andrea. So appreciate them all. We were looking for one of these, and then saw (you) and it at the Hershey RV show last weekend 2023 - But I really dislike the step in the middle of the bedroom!!!!! Its horrible...what an ankle breaker. I know they want it for storage, but increase it to the full room size or decrease it...just poor floor plan for that...let me step up at the beginning of the bedroom, or bathroom...not in the middle! So bad...If they changed that one feature, Id buy it in a heartbeat! so now we continue to hunt
Who else is a bit pleased when Matt turns around the camera and Andrea is there? Nothing against any guest hosts who all do fine, but these two have this down to a science - a well-oiled, tried and true system - as well as excellent chemistry. Seems I can relax more.
I have noticed that the camera handoff is seamless. You cannot tell just when it goes from one hand to the other.
Agreed. BTW are they a couple?
@@erikmurray3661 Sure enough.

Really love the layout
Love the colors

Dislike that there is no sink in with toilet
Dislike that no easy access to storage to dinette
Dislike no pull out extra kitchen counter space
Love you guys💕 love your RUclips reviews
When the valances aren't updated, it makes it seem like last year's model. And Jayco please add piano hinges! But keep those gorgeous cabinets! 💗
Disses; storage under dinette(lift out plywood sliver city), valances style not right (solid color?) Sink maybe single give bit more counter?
the 30z is the almost prefect floorplan.
It would be nice to have a "U" shaped dinette. I'm wondering how visible the TV is from the dinette.
I agree I was wondering about the TV too..looks the only ones that can see it is the two seats. But love everything else about this unit. And a U shaped dinette would be the bomb!
Matt "I would almost bet a dollar on it". Funny. See you next time!!!
Hi, Andrea, It's a pocket, sliding door. It slides into a pocket.
No deal breakers on this beautiful rig, but I agree with everything you would change, those valences are ugly, just make them 1 solid color. And either piano hinge, or even better, the slide out drawers that go under the dinette benches.
Matt / Andrea,
This is an awesome RV!! A couple of things…
Who else is freaked about how that storage door opened up in his intro? And the entry door! EEEEEGADS!
Put them in your self.
Great floor plan ! Love those doors , the recliners are awesome but most of all lots of storage . I am
Looking for a class B+ to be able to park almost anywhere. I will look for you guys on Wednesday hopefully you guys will help
Me out to find a class B+ under 100K. “ common now”…. Matt and Andrea do your magic .
Love you guys !!!
@@zenlensjunk it doesn’t hurt to try.
3 things we love about this unit:
Likes, fireplace across from TV and out side slatches.
Minor dislike is the small counter top surface area in the kitchen.
Otherwise a really nice RV
Yes. A smaller single bowl sink or even a round one would've provided more counter space.
A flip up counter extension would be great.
Don't have an RV probably never buy one,Too Old) but like the channel. Good luck in the future.
Pretty motorhome. I like the Greyhawk. Please, please add piano hinges and a porcelain toilet. It makes ALL the difference.
Completely agree with the criticism of a plastic toilet, tacky valences and poor dinette storage. I seldom comment but am motivated by how great great great this motor home is in every other way.
I love this foorplan, but I wish this RV had the outside tv option.
Matt and Andrea, you are awesome and appreciate all your expertise and knowledge you both share with us RViers.
🙏🙏🙏
Like the theatre seating and general layout but if you swivel the front seats you can’t see the TV from them. Also there is only one wardrobe - should make one or both of the storage areas next to the bed into small wardrobes. Like the slam latch doors. Wish the refrigerator was 12 volt.
Nice unit. I would gladly trade a little smaller tv for a bigger fridge and a pantry or this floor plan in a Seneca.
Piano hinges and porcelain toilets are a must. Love this unit, but needs those upgrades.
Nice match of cab/rv body colors. Less zig zaggy lines is better. Very nice.
Once you see that front windshield feature you can't forget it. I wish our Class C had one. Nice review!!!
Like the slam latch doors and TV. Don’t like no window over bunk, no counter extension and no piano hinges. We have the 25R Odyssey so am biased.
Love both of you to bits & good luck with the Tampa Show 🇬🇧🦆💕
19:13 lmfao.....jumps are getting better.
Can you have them install a porceline toilet if you didnt like the plastic one? If you wanted to pay a little extra?
Love how the rear cargo door open all by themselves in the intro.
Good: You give an honest review (including negatives).
I'll take this one! See you guys at the booth to get my wonderful deal.
Those valances are not farmhouse. They are southwest. Which went out style decades ago.
The sink in the hallway is for washing your hands after you take a shit
I still prefer the Entegra because of the window over the cab, but the floorplan on both models ROCK. The valances still suck.
This is our favorite class C my wife loves it
C'mon stop the mini infomercials durning showing the rv.
the space over the bed no1 uses, So u need a way to hang closes over bed but w/a wave of a wand it all flush fits in 6or 8" 10 most can't see bc just looks like ceiling detail when closed.
Great video!
Thanks so much :)
Why don't you have piano hinges?? Also, why do you have rear view mirror??? Come on Jayco!
I agree, the geometric valances need to be a nice plain valance… it would look way more classier
❤️ 750 lbs over an bunk
❤️ slam latch storage doors
❤️ big kitchen table
❤️ auto leveler’s
❤️ big fan of 2 ac’s
😡 WAMP wAMP potty
😡 bedroom top cabinets by bed should be wardrobe
😡 CHANG THE VALENCES…lol
I wish they would put cabinets All the way across the top slide. Storage, and porcelain toilet, that would make it perfect
I can really like this except why are the bedroom Cabinets dark? I want them the same as the Front. And yes the Toilet must be porcelain and the Door of the Bathroom needs towel Bars and max fans throughout
double fold in 1/2 closet doors that fully open whole bath room walls or closed prt way easy to get around. then unfold & close up.
No diff w/little space sure w/out door open but if combo bath & washer/dryer big diff.
“I would almost bet a dollar on it”, LOL!!!
Nice layout, but the TV seems like it can't be seen from anywhere other than the theater seats.
I don’t get that big of a tv in a space that small
I seriously tune in just for the split leg fist pump jump.....you're reviews are pretty good too😁, keep it up guys!!!
Love this layout!
Hi Andrea!! Thank you both for your informative reviews!! 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
I love the valances.
Great review Matt and Andrea. Love the floor plan. 👍
