after looking at jackson's drawing- as an artist myself, it was almost like he was afraid to draw matilda. the placement and scaling of the little girl on that large sheet of paper is like he's shying away from the topic. idk it could just be me but i know how someone's mental state can affect how they draw. if we could've seen other drawings made by jackson, we'd definitely be able to tell.

A fun fact that I had never heard before until a few weeks ago, the stairs and doors to nowhere were not intended. An earthquake caused a tower to fall in and instead of rebuilding it, they closed it off.
Those footsteps, or rather, the high heels, were so freakin' clear. Like, what random person would be wearing heels there?!
Old world shoes were made with wooden heels, even the men’s shoes. It could make a sound similar to lady’s heels.
