Every time is see the movie, Coal Miner’s Daughter is on, I watch it, even though I’ve seen it a dozen times. Her life wasn’t perfect, her marriage wasn’t perfect and her kids, aren’t perfect, but, that is real life, isn’t it!? Imagine if Doolittle didn’t push her singing career! Even though he was known as a tyrant, alcoholic and womanizer, he was her number one fan.

I am saddened by the competition that I see among those in country as well as all music. When really every good gift comes from above.
