Platform shoes were so very cool in the early 70s, made you feel very tall and sophisticated. When the Rollers first appeared with platform boots and tight knit V neck sweaters we were instantly hooked on the image. Then they turned their baggy pants to tartan trim and that sealed it. But I still remember the feel of my very first platform shoes and how I could hardly walk in them. By the way, I love this song and often play it in the car on my way to work. :)

I'm only a teenager but I absolutely love the bay city rollers I have all there Lps and many of there singles I've also seen les and I just love listening to there songs especially this one it's fantastic
I only have 9 LP's, 1 single (Flower of Scotland Fan record) but all the CD's and downloaded all the music from Itunes. I wish you luck with finding the 2 singles!!

Yes, it's got a 1960s sound! Interestingly, I saw the Beatles 'live' on stage at the Apollo Theatre, Ardwick Green, when I was a kid! and I think that performance was said to be 'wooden' (?) The Rollers are the best performance band I have ever seen in action; not just for their looks or their music, but for the sheer infectious enjoyment they spread amongst the fans.
'She'll Be Crying Over You' is a terrific song --- it's got it all: melody, rhythm, harmony, great guitars and the Rollers' 'teenage angst' story written into it by Eric and Stu. The video shows shots from some of the Rollers' stage performances and you can see how dedicated they all were to pleasing and entertaining their audience --- this is teen rock and roll at its best.
