I rode this a few weekends ago on a Saturday in Backup Group 163 (Hollywood Studios). The staff said typically the 160’s go around 7:30pm. They were spot on. I reserved our spots in the 1pm boarding group sign up. I literally signed up in 10 seconds and landed in that high boarding group. You have to be very fast.
this stresses me out. it should not have to be this way especially when paying hundreds of dollars for a ticket.

Geez just tried this morning. Refreshed my queue page and it was 7. Nothing change , no new boarding icons or anything. Had to go into the my queue tab and came back into the same page and there was the boarding icon. Anyways less than 5 seconds and it was gone. Gotta try again at 12

when you’ve connected all your tickets and select join boarding group, is everyone already selected or do you have to press select all?
can u reserve at noon for spider-man or star wars in either park? or does it have to be in the specific park
It seems like this has changed since they added the Webslingers ride. I no longer see ROTR on my home screen. You've got to click join boarding group then the park you want then click join. Any other way that I might be missing. Maybe once they actually open webslingers it will have both ride options on the home screen.
Am I able to screen shot the boarding group, instead of pulling it up on the app the two times they scan?
I was lucky enough to get a 9:30am boarding group for Hollywood Studios last Tuesday even though I was staying at a Universal Orlando hotel. Basically the same way except for the afternoon time.
So basically you show up according to your group number? And it shows when to arrive?

Can you book a boarding group at 1200 if you have a 1 park ticket? Like if 0700 it fills up can you try again at 1200, or is the 1200 spot only for those with afternoon park hoppers?

Is there a way to create your “party” before you try to join? Have tickets for other family for future dates that I would have to unselect.
You would have to unlink all the tickets that are for future dates. It will auto select your tickets if all the ones on there are for that day if that makes sense
Can I have my time set to another tile

So if I have multiple tickets for different dates will the day of the tickets only show up or will they all show up? I'm scared I choose the June ticket instead of the may.

@@nelr8644 Yeah I was there on Saturday and your day of tickets show up separately all you have to do is ✅ it and click join. It'll then show you your boarding group.

If I book for the 7am time does that mean my group would go very early in the morning when the park opens? Also can 1 park tickets book 12pm or just 7am?
Depends on crowds and if the ride is functioning well each day as to when your reservation is called after park opens. The afternoon booking is not a guarantee you’ll get on. As long as ONE person of your party is in the park for the afternoon attempt, you can make that attempt. In my case, my friend was unsuccessful at 7am (because she was distracted exactly at 7am) so I went in to HWS to catch the afternoon attempt and got us a group number. We were lucky and got to ride around 5:30p! It was in 1st week of May and VERY busy that week.
I went on the phone exactly when it turned 7 and within first ten seconds it says the virtual queue is done already there’s no way they sold out within 10 seconds.
2-3 seconds, they are gone

I have a park hopper ticket that only allows me to enter Disneyland at 1 p.m. but I can only start at California Adventure in the morning till 1 p.m. if I have to be in the park by noon to get the ride rise of the resistance how can I reserve the spot if I can't enter Disneyland side till 1 p.m.
you don’t have to be in Disneyland by noon you just have to have scanned ur park ticket into DCA by noon to be able to get it

I heard (so it’s a rumor!) that if you manage to ride before noon it’ll let you try again. Otherwise no. Makes sense to me.

At WDW we are 3/3 once we learned this method:
This is what a cast member told me that wasn’t on the vlog… get all the way in to “join,” use an atomic timer to get the exact second it turns 7am, keep refreshing just seconds before, then hit that blue button like a maniac…don’t worry about choosing your party as the app picks up on that info automatically…just keep pressing that blue button!The cast member said they would fix it once we got the board pass, if everyone in the party did get loaded in. It’s over in seconds and ranks pretty high in thrills for 6:59am! Good luck!👍🏼🍀
Oh and we’re trying it for the first time at Disneyland next week~ hope the record continues!!
Sorry, meant to say the cast member will fix everything if the rest of your party does NOT get on the pass when you make that first attempt. Bottom line…refresh & press that blue button.
We just got back and were 100% successful in all attempts! Here’s more that we learned…
1. My archaic iPhone 6s got better results than my sons (faster) iPhone X, why? Because I had Verizon. (I swear there’s a Verizon tower on the resort! 🤣) He had T-mobile. We got a much higher # on his attempt.
2. Only one person in the party makes the attempt. Everyone trying to “better the odds” actually slows you down and you get a higher boarding pass #. Why do you want a lower one? Because if you have a park hopper and you complete your ride before noon, you can try for the other ride at the opposite park (Web Slinger in Ca Adv or Rise if Resistance in Disneyland). We were able to ride both on the same day! 😜

If I'm with a family member, and assuming that our tickets are linked up together on the Disneyland app, does it make sense for each of us to simultaneously try to get into a boarding group at 7am, or should it be only one of us?

I wouldn't book it from your bed. What if you happen to get group 1 or 5, and it goes at 8am? Now you're gonna be in a rush to get to the park. I'd do it at 7am from maybe the parking structure or close to it

I heard a tip, don’t know if it’s true. If you have your Legacy Pass linked, it looks like a ticket, so you may not want to choose “everybody” when it asks (or whatever it says there) but rather click on the folks in your party, and avoid that “ticket.” . Anyone know? Seems like that would slow you down a second or two?
Best option is to link only the tickets/passes used, or to manually check the ones you need. The latter is a little slower.
@@CharlesReinmuth scared to unlink the LP, it was hard enough to get it linked! 😉 My husband doesn’t have it, maybe he’ll have better luck. Can’t wait to ride one way or another. Maybe once Avengers is open we’ll have a better chance...

Not as easy as the video shows, many will not get in which is a bummer. You have a better chance to get into the Avengers Spider-Man ride at Noon. Getting a boarding group towards the end is better, too; the wait is not as long as in the daytime and you can enjoy the other rides.

It was a challenge for me but I was successful on the second round of boarding groups open at noon! Side note, if you are a party of two, and only one of you gets it, they will let you both ride, be polite and apologetic, and have fun ❤️
This is not true. I had a park hopper ticket that started in California adventure and I waited till 12 noon & made it in the Disneyland side and by then it said all reservations were taken. We asked a Disneyland worker and they said all reservations had been booked by then and it was literally 12 noon. If you have a park hopper ticket and you start in California and you have to wait till noon all the boarding pass are booked before 7:00 a.m. you don't even get an opportunity to get a boarding pass. We kept trying and again all booked. So no you won't get a boarding pass if you have a park hopper that start on California side. I wasn't the only person with this issue. If you don't try at 6am or 7am you won't get a boarding pass. Also be prepared that it will be very crowded. I went on a Saturday and it was so busy like it us to be. Lines were 70 mins long and there was people everywhere. I was only able to get on a few rides so that sucked. I was thinking it would be half capacity and line would be short but it was not that at all. My tip get there early! If your there right when it opens you might miss some of the crowds till later in the morning. Be ready to walk! Trams are not running so you have to walk all the way from the parking garage to the front gates. This is good to know if you have small child or older people coming with you.
They actually have two windows. One at 7 and one at noon. The people booking at 7 don't have access to the spots reserved for noon. In other words, a whole new set of reservations are released at noon, up for grabs. But they are often gone in seconds. You absolutely *can* get a boarding pass at noon, and it is not at all true that you won't get the opportunity. Again, though, they will likely be gone in seconds and if you keep trying afterwards, you likely won't score any. You DON'T, however, need to be in Disneyland to get a pass.
You make it sound so easy, but it's not. I tried getting it shortly after 7 and couldn't. Tried again at 12, but had some trouble because I already had a boarding group for Indiana Jones. It seems that unless you get it the second the clock hits 7/12 and don't already have a group for another ride, you're not getting in. Pretty disappointing.

Yes. If you have your boarding pass on your phone then you need to give your phone to the person you are switching with. I'm not sure a screenshot would work.
This is total and utter BS. I was at Disneyland yesterday, with 2 phones open on the the app, tix paired, all that nonsense, 12pm the queue reopened and within micro, milli, infinitesimal seconds.... I was shut out. This system for this ride is a joke. The amount of money people spend not just to get into Disneyland but the time and excitement leading up to and yet not being allowed to experience this ride/attraction because of a lottery system is disgraceful. Disneyland should be ashamed and find a new method. This one doesn't work for everyone.

You are quicker on the draw than we were. I tried on Tuesday, but it was 7:02 and they were all gone.
