The Lyft surges at the Chris Brown concert were crazy. It was as high as $15. Had one fare that was $18 for 4 miles (including a $14 surge) Just did a total of three rides (all Lyft) that night. Ended up in South Sac after my 2nd ride and had a $5 surge with Uber but Uber kept sending one ride that would have taken me back to Rancho from downtown, but even with the $5 surge it was $19 for 24 miles. Had the ride been over $30 I might have considered taking it. Ended up taking a destination ride back to Citrus Heights to finish my night.
That is solid. It's tough to turn and burn when the surge is like that. You the short quick ride but you have to reject all the rides to find the right one and then there is not guarantee the surge will be there when you get back. Great job on cherry picking!
@@bMacUberDriver thanks man. Love being profitable and not burning a lot of gas. Uber certainly has continued to be slow as I literally turned it off after 20 minutes of being on and it was early Monday morning.
