I’ve never had grandparents, all of them passed before I was born. I was so envious of my friends that had grannys and pawpaws!!! I worked as a CNA for about 25 yrs and I just loved those little old ladies and gentlemen!!!! I love your granny!!! That’s gonna be me in a few years!!!!😂. Look at that handsome young fella in the back seat!!!! Christina , I’ve been with you a long time girl and I just adore everything about you!!! I’m old enough to be your mama and I’ve always wished I could have pulled you under my wing when you were a teenager or a child. My mama heart just hurts for the way you were done by your mom when you were little!!! I hope you know how special and loved you are💜❤️

This is awesome. I have my grandparents, my gramps passes prior to birth but my granny remarried. My granny was MEAN 🤣🤣 LIKE just imagine true southern woman in all her glory. No elbows on the table, yes mam no mam, and more. As a child, I thought she was the meanest in the world. As an adult, I loved her more than anything and love that got my mouth and "take no BS" from her. She passed away about 3 years ago to cancer. This year, last month, I lost my pops to cancer as well. It destroyed me, literally to the point, i had a breakdown and re-entered therapy for the first time since i was 17. Just like grandkids hold special places for their grandparents, our grandparents hold special places too. So, I understand completely but hey, my grandma adopts everyone so if you want to adopt a grandma, I got one who's already adopted her entire neighborhood and my sons entire class 🤣🤣🤣

My gmom was my 2nd mom (she passed away in 2021) and my gfather raised me as his own.
I love speaking with older people. They have a lot of wisdom to offer.

Aww grandma is a beautiful lady. I lost my granny in 2016 she was 94 and as bright as a button, she cussed like a sailor and went to a social club every week, she also loved bingo. She was a hoot. My other nanny [ nana] died in 1998 age 68, she was my everything, I miss her so much. I nursed her for 4 years after grandpa died because she had MS[ multiple sclerosis] and was paralysed from the neck down, so it was 24 hr care, my mum, auntie and myself took care of her needs. I love hearing your grandma. Tfs.

I really love ur grandmother. My grandmother died 11 years ago at 94 and still had her marbles. A lil Italian lady, sweet as can be, but never knew what was gonna come out her mouth. Now that I’ve raised 2 of my grand daughters, I hope to leave a legacy behind for them. Cherish every moment with ur grandmother, but u already know that.

Your grandma is precious. She reminded me a lot of my own. I lost her to pneumonia, heart failure and COPD in 2019. She was only 79 years old. She told it like it was, no filter and loved to dance.

I have always said that our “elderly” population are our world’s greatest national treasure (not that there is anything elderly about your grandma! She is up there with the feistiest of all feistiest!, but you know what I mean). When I was in high school I worked at a old fashioned Rexall drugstore soda fountain. I absolutely adored the old men that would come down from their retirement homes & have their morning coffee & donut. I actually became best friends with one of them. He was 92 years old & he was the most dapper & kindest of them all. I hated the way his family treated him, so I made a point to bring him joy every time I saw him. We’d go to lunch & he’d tell me all of his stories. I was even there when he passed away. I still think about him to this day & I am 57 years old, so it was a long time ago. I love the relationship you have with your grandma, Christina. Thank you for sharing her with us! Stay blessed! xo
Love your grandmother! My mom was the same, didn’t let us get away with anything. I lost my mother in 2016 at the age of 92 and miss her like crazy. I’m 65 yrs. old and I still have days that I’d love to call her and just talk for awhile. Enjoy your grandmother as much as possible!!!❤️

She's such a blessing. I never really had a female like that 8n my l8fe. My grandma's had tons of grand kids and died when I was young and though I loved my mom to death she struggled w8th alcoholism and depression so I never reall6 had that

My grandpa had to quit school in the 6th grade to help on the family farm and he never went back. He, thanks to meeting and marrying my grandma when he was 21 and she was 18 did pretty good building a life together through all of the ups and downs while raising my mom their only child, stayed married up until he passed away in November of last year. She was in the military, first in her family to go to and graduate college and become a nurse along with my grandpa working in manufacturing they really sat a great example for my sister and I although life didn't go as planned for us but I'm grateful and blessed that they are my grandparents. I love your grandma. She's so down to earth but also doesn't take any bs. I can see why you are the amazing person that you are just listening to her. You should be proud.

Your grandma reminds me of mine. We were tight and she passed after my first miracle baby was born, so she was the last great grandchildren. Through trauma and sadness, grandma was always stable and supportive. I miss her every day.

Reminds me of me and my Granny She was tiny and a hoot, a spit fire for sure!!! she lived a rough rough life and forced to quit school in the 8th grade to raise her baby sister because her mom died and life never got too much better for her until she was in her 50's but she loved me n my sister more than life and at 18 yrs old I can honestly say my best friend was my 80 year old granny and we had that close relationship and we talked girly talk and she cook for me and I would do things to make her proud I sure do miss her she would have been 98 this year it warms my heart to see your relationship with your grandma I wish kids realize what a blessing it is when they have grandparents they've got so much knowledge and wisdom for us 💕

Oh My Goodness, what an absolute Sweetheart, I don't have my Grandma's anymore, but I used to love hearing stories about their lives, especially my Great Grandma, who was bornin 1899, sadly she died in 1995, but I still remember some of her stories.

Awe I loved this!!! My grandma is my heart and soul. She’s 82 years old and I couldn’t imagine my life with out her in it. We have our weekly gossip sessions on Sundays and once a month we get together and I cut her hair and make her feel good about herself. I wish I could spend more time with her bc I know our days are numbered. Work, life and kids keep me so busy.
