The same thing happens when my mom talks to her mom or sisters. I didn’t heard my on the phone with her family until I was around 13 and was shocked. My mom swore she didn’t have an accent because she couldn’t hear it.

Accidental/reluctant cat owners are my favorite! It seems like they are the ones who often discover how dog-like some cats can be (as far as playfulness and personality) and that if you care for their litter box/es often, your house will not smell. I also agree that declawing is awful. My parents made us declaw our cats growing up bc we didn’t have the money to replace any furniture they might damage, but as an adult now, I see that scratching posts and climbing trees really will save your furniture. Declawing can also cause cats to stop using their litter box bc sometimes it permanently hurts/damages their claw joint and they then think it’s the litter that is hurting them so they’ll use carpet or clothes instead bc it feels softer to them. Enjoy your kitty! I also still love that wig!
I got a cat that was too young to be taken from his mom because the owner of the mama cat was just going to let the kittens die. I knew my parents wouldn't let me take all of them but we snuck in and grabbed one to take home, I bottle fed him, I litter trained him, I loved him so much but my parents made me declaw him. The vet did it too early and this poor kitten had such an awful infection and ended up having to go in for a second declawing. I had him for many years but when he got old and sick my father took him without my knowledge and put him to sleep. He thought he was sparing me pain but it didn't. I didn't have another cat for many years until finally my kids talked me into it. I got her from these ladies that told us they kept passing this cat from family to family. When I took her I promised her I'd keep her forever. I loved her so much and she would put her paws on my cheeks and just look at me with such love. I think they knew she was sick though because 10 months later a tumor in her stomach burst and we found out she was full of them. The comfort I get from this is she knew how much I loved her and when she passed (I chose to put her down since nothing could be done for her) she was in my arms with her head right against my broken heart, she looked right into my face lovingly until she was gone. I felt like she was telling me thank you for loving her so much. I have her urn in my living room and I talk to her every day.
And Grandma was right on point about everything! always spay and neuter your animals because they will get out, and pregnancy happens fast and Young! And don't even get me started about declaw! It's equivalent to amputation! Love you Grandma
We got scratching posts and all for my cats...they try to claw up an chair in the computer room and a corner of my bed still.....someone come get these cats lol 😆!
@@karentucker2161 I know your pain! You can try putting aluminum foil on the couches bc they HATE that sound/feel. Some people spray cats with a water bottle, but I think that’s kind of mean and depending on the furniture, could cause damage. I’m in Ohio, so if you’re close, I could take your cats. Lol

This is SO absolutely perfect, It's 8 AM I'm home by myself sipping coffee and laughing out loud in this empty house! I knew this was the right way to start my day. What most people don’t understand with declawing, is that it’s not just the claws that are removed. They actually have to remove the bones connected to the claws (essentially what would be their fingers/knuckles). When they are removed, it gives them intense pain for the rest of their lives.

Your grandma reminds me of mine. My grandma sacrificed a lot to send my sister and myself to private schools ( from elementary to high school). I thank God each night for that, and for giving me my bestest friend, my mom, for 27 years. I ask God to please give my mom, my grandparents, and my great-grandparents a kiss and a hug from me, and to let them know that I love them dearly.
We noticed that your Southern accent comes out when you're with family. My husband notices that my Chicagoan accent comes out when I get mad. Even though I don't notice it, everyone else does.

My grandma is my best friend in the whole world. ❤️ She’s a down to earth biker,Tennessee hillbilly and takes no crap from anybody. She’s the same way about food we both have HUGE sweet tooths so whenever we’re together we end up treating ourselves (usually her idea) and her response every time is “well why did you let me do that?” 😂 the woman is nearing 75 and still looks 45 and she’s fit to boot. I saw this woman ride a skateboard down a HUGE hill a couple months ago and was having a blast 😂 She is my biggest supporter in life and I know no matter how strange I am she is always gonna accept me for me. Now that she’s getting older I’m appreciating her and spending as much time with her as I can cause i know she’s not gonna be around forever. When she goes a piece of me will too.

The litter box don’t stink because the cat is so little. Like you know how newborn human baby farts don’t stink until they get to be a few months old. It’s the same with cats. Right now, your cat isn’t even peeing enough to smell I’m sure
Also, the poop will be smellier with wet food. However, I am not advocating just dry food! More chance of urinary track stones if the kitty only eats dry food, and they can be life-threatening in a male who can't pass the stones. Keep kitty on a well-balanced diet, as your vet will suggest. Much love to your new kitty.
I have an adult male cat, he's on a wet diet, and his litter box has never had an odor. I scoop it daily & dump & clean his litter box putting fresh litter in weekly though so maybe that's why.

I love ❤ how grandma never takes her eyes off the road as if she's driving she's paying attention to her Granddaughter's driving an could care less about anything else happening around her it's like me when im driving i have horrible Anxieties I have to pay attention to that road i don't care about anything except for who's in front of me behind me on the side of me im paying attention to everyone's driving LOL even when im not driving that's when im just like Christina's grandma i can relate to that LOL she's so adorable God bless her.

We have 2 cats (both 1 years old and one is blind) and they have the cat tree and scratching post and still scratch my leather furniture and I have always had blankets on them to try and protect them. It’s helped a lot too. Your kitten is precious and like you we will never declaw our babies.
