I made this video to hopefully shed some light on some strategies you can use with your extra gold just sitting in the bank. These items are all hot items that you can sell quickly if you need cash now.

Help us new players to farm some consistent gold. Last vid someone mentioned about good farming spots to avoid pks and farm good gold on more then one dungeons. It would be awesome.

Problem with making a good farming spots is that it will alert PKs to now start watching these areas.

A year ago there were piles of people using Jewele's auto recall mining scripts to farm ingots all day. That was nerfed and now people have to use far worse scripts or mine mostly manually. I would say that is the reason ingots cost so much now compared to a year ago. A year ago the economy was overflowing with iron ingots.
will be interesting to see how the material market is effected when steam is completely removed.

#1 reason to quit this server for another is the housing market
#2 since there are no items in this server its all just a gold farm... Hopefully the devs fix this
#1 yeah i guess thats the trade off for the custom map. But i heard in the podcast owyn did he was talking about an expansion needing to happen since the server has gotten much much bigger than he ever anticipated. So hopefully that will help out.
Also... i know it isnt a complete fix but dont forget the inn system until you can buy one of the bigger houses for sell!
#2 ive really been enjoying collecting exp for my aspects and mastery chain / unlocking links. as well as the rewards from achievement points/society.. i personally didnt enjoy the aos items over this. i think the vision was t2a-ish ruleset but very custom (obv)
@@PwnstarrGaming #1 cont.. its a decent turn off that there's not a house cap on this server (ownership) I can clearly see merit on both sides honestly. For me there's already enough in aspect gear speculation for sell / buy.. I wonder how it'll be when all the top houses are owned by 2 guilds.
#2 cont. I'm not actually sure there's a problem with the items at all, the "New Basic" feel is actually really cool.. its just that the feeling of a chase item or w/e not being there is weird, perhaps those are the chain links..
Maybe if there was a gold sink for new to old players but yea a lotto isn't going to empty peoples vaults .. That shit said.. This is still one of the best salt mining PK servers out there ... and your videos are great !

Yes, I "believe" once they get to the forced CUO client they can have better control over people using VPN's to bypass the 3 houses/accounts per ip. Which then, I personally would suggest cutting it down to 1 house per ip with also 1 "condemned house" meaning once the 2nd house is placed the first has an X day window to be sold before it collapses.
I agree man, the more gold sinks the better. FOR SURE.
lol the fact you have to have a lottery as a means to a gold sink and owyn still doesn't see the shard needs wiped shows how blind he is. Shame too, so many more people know about outlands now. A relaunch would be so much more fun and competitive than the first time.
yeah man outlands keeps on growing !! I personally wouldn't like a relaunch but I know some might!

Outlands is doing so good that Owyn should nuke it? How does wiping things remove the need for a gold sink? This makes no sense. Wiping it would remove all confidence in the server.
@@muqali4203 "Wiping it would remove all confidence in the server." lol it wouldn't Wiping it would double the server population over night. No one currently playing outlands is leaving, hundreds of players have already left because it is pointless to play right now.
