Excellent review of a rarely seen kit. I one time thought this was a conversion kit for the PG Zaku. And I do prefer the general aesthetic of this Gouf and it's first MG to the 2.0 design.
I am glad you got it! I wouldn't likely ever get it, I don't really have a lot of drive for 1/60 scale stuff, so it's nothing I'd jump at. It is pretty awesome, though.

Gunplathing Given the time between uploads, i'd assume he probably has the kit in his possession for a while and has filmed the video and only now has decided to upload it, and by the time he had the kit he most likely finished building. Either that or these HY2M kits are ridiculously easy(not counting the LEDS)

You can really see how much the shape of the inner frame is based on the PG Zaku II. A custom combining the two probably wouldn't be that hard.
I would love to have one, but the price is over the odd locally..

I have a HY2M Dom and trust me - they're not easy haha. Especially with all of the LEDs.
