I hope I was one of those fans you Hi fived. Best game I have ever been too and all the Wallabies fans getting quieter and us ABs fans getting louder for the last two minutes was amazing.
As an a.b's fan, I really feel for the wallabies now. Not back in the john Eales days, but now. They are a tremendous opponent who we respect and will one day get back to the old days.
How many times have the AB's done this, won after the whistle. It must be really hard playing them... it is NEVER ever over until the whistle blows... 2013 vs Ireland even better.
Tony Mccartan Rubbish. Read the rules-when a conversion is being taken opposing players must stay behind the try-line until the kicker moves towards the ball to kick it. The Ireland players moved well before the All Blacks kicker had and were yards over the try-line meaning the referee rightly ruled the kick be taken again. Mind you,as an All Blacks fan I really felt for Ireland that day.

@Skilly31. Neither Wales or Scotland are in the same league as NZ. They get close occasionally, but reality is, Wales and Scotland are just several levels below NZ. And like Tangaloa1 says, no other side makes a come back like the All-Blacks. Just how they do it, they never give up, ever, not until the bitter end and that is how you win, by never giving up.
@Skilly31Scotland has a win percentage against NZ of 0.00% Wales has a win percentage against NZ of 8% with the last win coming in the 1950's Even Ireland who have been close since 2012 and got one historic victory in 2016 still need to up their consistency to meet All Black standards.
You know what stands out to me in this video, what I don't remember thinking whilst watching it live - the final couple of minutes or so of play. The ABs just looked ferocious, they seemed to want that win and want it hard. Accurate or not, it almost seems like that's what won it in the end. The Wallabies were structured and sensible (until they unfathomably kicked away possession with 90 seconds to go and a 6 point lead) but the All Blacks just looked hell bent on getting the job done. Re-watching, the guys in gold seem to quite like the idea of a victory, the guys in black seem to have life debts depending on a win.
@@dahrealiss Yup. I still feel the heartache of all those years without the BC in the trophy cabinet, it seemed like an eternity. I hated how good the Wallabies were when they played against us, they were so passionate and fearless, and they had the skill to match it.
Wallabies controlled the game for most of the first 79 minutes. But all tier one teams should realise that the All Blacks have been training since their 2007 quarter final RWC defeat to France, to win through pressure, speed, skill, power and fitness in the last minute. They have been coming from behind in the last few years and ruining matches for their opponents. Again, they have such a deep bench which they usually use in the last quarter. Hasn't anyone woken up to that? The All Blacks aren't afraid to trail. All they need is the ball for one last go in the dying seconds of each match. Hence a 93% win ration between world cups. Just 3 losses. Hello, McFly is anybody home????
Sorry Ozzy had a 1% CHANCE to take it out and that's all you need to beat anyside even the All Blacks so sorry I disagree on this comment simply because is based on making the correct decisions as a team. Period.
I was reading an article from England that had something to do with the AB's losing their "Aura" in world rugby, in regards to rolling in to a country and beating them. I think they have lost that Aura, but I feel as if they've gained a new one. An aura that shows that they will never stop trying until the whistle blows. We've seen it all year so far. Idk if it started last year against Ireland but they've clearly got the mindset of a team that will never stop fighting.
Yeah but we've seen it all before in between world cups. NZ goes on a rampage and then RWC time and they under perform or as others would say "choke". This team seems different to past teams is all I'm trying to say.
ToBe0rNotToBe1 I think the Boks will come together as they always do every other WC...they are the only team with enough experience and physicality (esp in the forwards) to give the ABs a run for their money..... or else....NZ deserves to win it again!! first to 3 and first to repeat!!!
What a game this was. Both sides payed super well and both deserve to win. Wallabies played hard and gave NZ a well played 80 min game. Yet the All Blacks always find a way through. Get ready for Game 1 of the championship in August!!!
Thanks for this. I missed this game. I think the ABs will have at least one match like this where they will not play well and it will be very, very close. This match will determine whether they win the RWC or not.
The All Blacks are the greatest sports team in the history of the world across any sport. They are the only team that is never really ever beaten, they can seemingly pull any game out of the fire no matter how much pressure.
