CSX B725 Through Framingham Station (7:45am)

Two weeks back I was waiting for the circus train to pass through Framingham. Almost as soon as I got there, CSX B725 rolled on past the station. I saw about 6 commuter trains after it passed and the CSX power returning from Boston that pulled the circus train (next video).

I met another railfan in Westboro a couple weeks ago, and his son actually is a conductor in Framingham and mostly does the B725 run

The branch goes to Walpole. The train could've came from either Mansfield or Reedville

Really? Wow! Where does it go after that? Also I heard CSX no longer goes to New Bedford and Fall River. All the interchange work must be done at Cotley. So that must mean Myricks Jct. is no longer used as well. Where do all the big tall trash cars go to. I think most if not all of them go to and come from Brockton, Braintree and places in that area.

CSX hasen't run to FR & NB since 2010. MC has done all the work since then. This means that Myricks was and still is in service. I don't know where the cars go after being on CSX. Maybe a plant where they process the dirt. The cars do go to Brockton to some recyling place.

Honestly its the same amount of action, around 5-6 csx trains a day mostly locals, two amtrak trains and like 20 mbta commuter trains. The weekends however lack csx action.

ChachaChapati Well since the intermodal yard in Boston closed early last year, not much freight traffic passes thru Framingham anymore. Just your local freights with commuter service and two Amtrak trains per day.
