That or Diabellstar. The next synchro deck that's a apart of that lore share colour theming to Quem which could mean that the worlds are connected(bit of a reach but would be one hell of a plot twist).
Bro this archetype is 100% getting a series at some point. This has soooo much going on that I manged to plan out 45 episodes (including some extended fight scenes so we can better understand the power of those characters)!
Imagine the new diabellstar snake-eyes goblin riders law is the next chapter and in up and coming sets we’d get cards starting to combine them. Would be epiiiic.
The question is has Albaz got his memory back or will he ever. He could be searching out a new power to infuse with his dragon soul because he senses another war or power rising up that he may have to fight, whether he knows about it or it’s merely instinctual. Also if I had to guess, someone or something sent him to that world, knowing that Aluber would be seeking out the Seed of Miracles. He seems as if he was trained to specifically take down Despias and Aluber, I can’t see any other reason as to why he would show up to another reality. But that begs the question, why that third party is apposing the Despias to that degree…?
Ecclesia: Albaz... Albaz: Huh? E: Why did we find a new power? A: Why did we "have a fun adventure? E: ... I didn't know THAT was there? A: Me neith-- "HELP!!" A: That timing is *FU--* E: Less of *that,* we've got to help!! A: ...of course we do.
Quem was there since the begining she's the first saint out of 666. She was there when Fleur died on "Branded Central Dogmatika" and "White Relic of Dogmatika" Also the Despian wasn't abyss creature like Aluber they're corrupted Dogmatika people and object. The remain of the despia like the eyes and mouth in Quem art is the scattered souls of the saint. They follow the first saint now that Maximus isn't on control anymore. So Quem would likely play as the third neutral party
Personally, I'm very interested to see what becomes of Icejades. I've been having a lot of fun playing with them, even beating some meta decks climbing back into diamond, and just from the names alone, its highly likely we are going to be getting some of the 9 children of Ran and Gymir considering Aegirine used both of those names. It could easily start going into links or even create situations for XYZs that could further help search, dump, and enhance the heavily defensive nature of the archetype. (Some support in searching continuous spells/traps would be nice, powerful too if the trap could be activated the turn set) And with the Million Century Prison card showing that he's likely still alive but still trying to break out, it is easy to see the 9 children of Aegirine helping in the barrier's standing.
if longyuan ends up encroached and turned into an icejade he wont be any of the 9 daughters since hes a male but he can be snær, aegir’s son honestly konami’s choice of using gymir and ran as names for aegirine sorta opens up a whole can of worms for how icejade’s story can continue taking from norse myth
I thought Quem was white relic of Dogmatika. She has the effect that boost attack of other monsters and another that activates when An extra deck monster comes our
Wonder what people will say 10 years in the future when no new lore would've come out. To mee these extra cards are like the ending montage in a movie where they quickly show what happened after the ending with the places and people.
@@ether2275 Konami actually confrimed it and if you type Albaz lore season 2, you'll see the post I'm talking about (sometimes it doesn't show as the top result tho), but it's there.
A couple thoughts: 1- Regarding Quem, I don't think she will be a villain honestly, more like a neutral kind of enigmatic character, though it would be okay if she ends up being evil. I dont see it though. Also it's interesting the fact that she seems to be talking to someone when no one's there. This could be two characters: one could be Fleurdelis (remember that she is part of Quem along the other 663 Saints), and the other one could be the girl that was her host in White Relic of Dogmatika, something like Yugi/Yami Yugi where Quem is in control but that girl is still there somewhere (evrn though Quem has her own body now). 2- When the book says Ecclesia and Albaz are trying to get back what's beloved to them it's refering to Fleurdelis, it's been confirmed in the concept art for New Frontier. The 317th saint (the red eye that now travels with them) points in a single direction which is the location of Quem, since its attracted to the rest of the Virtuous Vestals/Quem and, by default, Fleurdelis. Great video as always.
You got me into Branded Despia - and I’ll be attending my first locals this Saturday with my branded deck built around your recommendations. I’ll be watching your combo videos a few more times to practice. Thank you for your passion and content.
I sadly noticed you completely ignored Fallen of Argyros holding Sargas' necklace in its hand, something that easily proves Sargas' will to actually be what's guiding this creature, especially since that's the only character completely disappeared and had a pretty understandable reason to hate Therions.
Rumpel-teufel might be borrowed from the german fairytail "Rumpelstilzchen". In it a being, whose name is unknown to the general public, is doing underhand deals with an innocent young girl. In order to help her with her insane task given to her by the king to spinning hay into gold he asked said girl, of course, for payment. The first time, she pays them with her necklace (which has a red jewel on it often times), and the second time she give them her ring (also often times depicted with a red jewel on it). However, for the third time she literally has nothing major left to give them for their work, which is why they offer a deal to her: In order to help her again turning the hay into gold the girl would promise her first born child from her marriage with the king to the creature, to which she agrees. Once again, the hay gets turned into riches. The story then jumps forward with the girl having married the king and given birth to a child, which made the creature re-appear after many years to finally demand its payment. The only way for her to stop them is to find out their name, whcih turns out is and even bigger task then what she had to do beforehand because nobody knew this creatures true name. To make the long story a bit shorter: When she finally figures out the creatures name (which is Rumpelstilzchen) it screams at her famously "Das hat dir der Teufel gesagt!" (Translation: "The devil must've told you!") before vanishing. So yeah, that actually might be the connection here.
Excited for more lore. Excoted for more branded support. I would love it if branded despia got some support to make it more competitive without having to use stupid gimmicks
With the way the story ended, it feels like they tried to have an open ending, with whatever potentially happens later up to be interpret by each person like there is an equal chance that Albaz and Ecc went on a picnic trip as it would be for them to join another war The "experiencing the wider world" could be viewed that now they are no longer bounded to the land of the Dogmatika nation and so they can go explore the world Additionally other than Agyros, most have a conclusive ending to their story, like Albaz and Ecc got together, Aluber got the Seed of Miracles, etc and so those character can just live the rest of their lives without such major events like the main story So i dont think we'll have a full blown ss2 of the lore with each core sets dedicating a third of it to the lore but rather they can drip feed us with multiple small details on how the people lives their life after the great war And with Visas lore just ended (kinda, Passage Between Stars and Frost can be interpret in a lot of ways),Diabellstarr is now the current focus so Abyss wont see a comeback until like at least a few years down the line,im expecting 2027 to be the earliest with Konami 3 years cycle of core sets
I think so too. Though I'm certain that we'll see more cards for the Chapter/Season 1 of the story as new support and/or epilogue info. Also, I'm imagining that we'll get something related to Argyros and the Springans and Therions. Maybe they'll add the Tri-Brigade too.
I personally think Aluber is actually from the future and he's Albaz and Ecclesia's son. Here's why: (Strap in, this is going to be long) For starters, Aluber has a lot of similarities to both Albaz and Ecclesia. Obviously he gets his looks from his father but what's important to note is that Aluber takes most of his abilities/effects from his mother's side. Both are searchers, both have the ability to fusion summon, both have a floating effect and/or protection effect when a fusion monster is sent to the GY. We even see this in each of Aluber's fusions/alternate forms; each one has some kind of shared effect between Aluber and Ecclesia. Let's go to our next part: Aluber being the burning flame. Let's start at one: In the Abyss lore poem from the Albaz Strikes structure deck, there is a "flame" that is constantly mentioned in it. But don't take my word for it, let's look at it ourselves: The glittering sky is dyed a blazing red The great Arctic superpower has become a death march The children of God rejoice and grieve Dancing from dusk to dawn on the path before them Seeking the final Stigmata The strongest, the holiest The two Brands The play opens, the curtain rises Destiny toys with the boy and girl Even if everything falls to Ash Even if everything turns to Dust The bonfire lit by their two hearts Will one day erupt into a true fire Atop the great Cradle The child that fell from the Hole of the Abyss confronts his fate The power of the Blazing Doom consumes the White Darkness And becomes the Flame of God The burning flesh is like Soot But the heart is covered in a Frozen Flame Its power is like an ember Yet still, their thoughts dwell in the sword As I've said, I believe that Aluber is the flame being referenced here. My evidence? He is constantly associated with fire. No seriously, he is CONSTANTLY associated with fire. His two fusions, Masquerade the Blazing Dragon and Lubellion the Searing Dragon, literally have synonyms to fire in their names! Also, Bystial Lubellion is surrounded by fire in his artwork! Now, before you say anything about Albaz being the flame, he can't be because he and Ecclesia are lighting the flame itself, so it can't be either of them. But, it could also be referring to the Albion fusion, but I think it's referring to both. In fact, it's actually quite common that there are many double meanings in this poem, so both of these are likely true. I want to take the time to talk about the 5th verse in the poem (the Flame of God one): It appears to be referencing the final battle at Golgonda, and specifically Light of the Branded. The power of the Blazing Doom consumes the White Darkness and becomes the Flame of God. It is most likely that this is referring to both the Mirrorjade transformation and also Light of the Branded. So, he's from the future. Do I have any other evidence for this? Why, yes I do! In fact, his entire demeanour throughout the entire lore just screams "I know more than you do!" Specifically, it is shown that he sees everything as a play or a movie that he's seen 100 times. In other words, he knows what is going to happen. How could he possibly know unless he's from the future? That's all well and good, but why does Aluber need to suck Albaz' power? Well, he's trying to break fate. The main theme of the Abyss storyline is about breaking fate. We see it in the poem, with fate and destiny constantly being referenced in it. Since Aluber doesn't have his father's powers, instead having mostly Ecclesia's powers, he needs to absorb Albaz' Brand to break fate by making sure he doesn't get anymore power, which would in theory stop them from following fate and defeating the church of Dogmatika. Here's the problem though, Aluber himself is a paradox. Because he goes back in time to stop his parents from beating the church and following fate, he inadvertently makes them defeat the Church of Dogmatika. Aluber then tells them that they followed fate to a T, fast forward and they have Aluber, Aluber travels back in time to change fate, and the cycle repeats. The only real way to break fate is through Aluber either killing one of them or just killing himself. The problem is, Aluber doesn't actually want any of them to die. Look at Lubellion. He has opposite stats to Mirrorjade AND can't attack if he uses his fusion effect. To me, this says that Aluber isn't willing to kill either of his parents, hence why Albaz is still alive in Branded Expulsion. In conclusion, Aluber is a walking paradox. He is trying to break fate, just like his parents, but he also doesn't want to kill them since he still loves them. As a result, he hides his feelings with his know-it-all demeanour and trickster persona, but at the end of the day he's scared of fate and chooses to do whatever he can to break it, even teaming up with Dogmatika and stealing his dad's powers. I think this is why he wants the seed, since he implies that he's immune to fate as long as he has the Seed of Miracles. "No matter what fate holds in store, I have the Seed of Miracles."
I'm pretty sure Quem's gonna remain good rather than turning evil for no reason. I can't wait to see Aluber's new form instead as we could see Albaz and Ecclesia never again...
That's magical ice bro: if it has a -460°F temperature, you won't melt it easily, no matter how big you are 🤣 Jokes aside, "cold much like the heart of Aegerine" really makes me think about the cliché of the good guy (or girl in this case) who becomes evil after a trauma.

Seeking the final Stigmata
The strongest, the holiest
The two Brands
The play opens, the curtain rises
Destiny toys with the boy and girl
Even if everything falls to Ash
Even if everything turns to Dust
The bonfire lit by their two hearts
Will one day erupt into a true fire
Atop the great Cradle
The child that fell from the Hole of the Abyss confronts his fate
The power of the Blazing Doom consumes the White Darkness
And becomes the Flame of God
The burning flesh is like Soot
But the heart is covered in a Frozen Flame
Its power is like an ember
Yet still, their thoughts dwell in the sword
