  • Known very much for BOTH its unique local spicy-sour dishes and it’s recognizable Karst topography, a visit to Guilin is a must for any tour of Southern China. Tonight, our brother in law is taking Li and I to the type of restaurant we could never hope to find on our own, a restaurant that exists (at least in part) in a cave 😂 👌🏽 ♥️
    The ‘Oil Tea’ of Guilin is well-loved among the older generations of GuangXi, let’s see how Li and I do with this “YouCha” and a FULL assortment of delicious Southern Chinese restaurant dishes.
    Here with the whole family tonight, it is a wonderful chance to welcome YOU to hang out with us as well! Thank you for all of the support, the messages, and the encouragement for this trip. I appreciate it very much!
    Greetings from both of us, Love Li and Joel
    COST OF THE MEAL:
    Our whole family spent around 280RMB (about 45$US for this meal).

    Question for the mind only(dont response if you are shy or dislike controversy). Why are believers in Jesus Christ afraid to profess their faith at times? Is it just to keep the peace, is it to avoid conflict, or is it because it is not worth arguing about? Why do i ask? My husband wants me to get off RUclips because i do not shy away from speaking about My faith in Jesus Christ and he wants me to avoid conflict with non-believers. I do not want to come off RUclips but i also have to honour my husband decisions.

    • @TheTravellingScotsman
      @TheTravellingScotsman Год назад +1

      It seems to be a common theme that we are overly concerned about offending and conflict. Having healthy discussions is important and if we all agreed, life would be incredibly boring.

      Blessings, Max! I hope this finds you well. I read your question with great interest, and while I cannot presume to know the answers fully, I am reaching out with what I hope is helpful. On the profession of faith, I think it depends. Scripture encourages sharing our faith but also advises us not to get into fruitless argumentation. On social media, it can be impossible to know what you're dealing with. I am more concerned about your husband wanting you off RUclips. Is the reason solely about speaking of your faith? Will he be ok if you said you won't discuss your faith? Or is he communicating more than that? Please find out, sister Max. RUclips can never be as important as your marriage, as you know. I think we honor the Word more by living with love than by talking/writing about it. Humbly yours.

    • @maxf3253
      @maxf3253 Год назад

      @@YAgyeman003 beautiful response, yes he does not want me to engage with people about my faith or even saying hello. The Word says that if I am ashamed of declaring my faith my Saviour will be ashamed of declaring me as one of his before his father (paraphrased). So my choice is get off RUclips or just watch in silence. I got into a toggle with a Bloke who called Joel X and I corrected and said that Joel is a child of God. He doesn't want me to go back and forth with people but I am not one to turn a blind 👁️
