Thanks for the service! You say you didn't do a whole lot but you attacked the problem and won. Seems like it was mostly a dirty balance pot but you thoroughly tested it out, changed some caps and a resistor and now it's running like a charm! Thanks again Joe!

I am looking at a clean external but untested one on eBay
£260 inc post from Japan 🇯🇵.
I am tempted to take a chance on it.
Currently using a Sony str 6055 which is great and built like a tank
I do like the old sansui though
