Fabulously inviting. I've loved Octavia Butler since reading Kindred many years ago. I had an obsession to read as much of her work as I could get my ears on. I am totally blind and use audio for most of my reading. I was fortunate enough to have some vision way back in the day in order to read her adulthood Rituals series as well as the books about the Master mind and Parable of the Sower and Talents duo. I think they're on audio these days and i'm inspired to search them out and read them once again.
Heart opening and mind growing. I have been obsessed with Octavia Butler since reading Parable of the Sower in Jan 2019 as Tucson's One Book One Community selection. As I began listening to the audiobook Parable of the Sower, I was immediately hopeful and felt like I was walking each step of the way with Lauren and the others. Still walking.
