I thought we were in a swing state? It went purple in 2008, remember? Don't forget Raleigh, Durham, Chapel Hill, Asheville, Woke County...all those damn Yankees. But seriously, I know we've been re-trending heavily red lately, and that is wonderful. But I still know so many liberals, e.g., most of my erstwhile colleagues. Every vote counts.
I am caught somewhere between the Scylla of popesplaining and the Charybdis of pope-bashing. I lean more toward the former, but it's still an uncomfortable place to be.
Is your upcoming video "the greatest Mass of all time" a rebuttal to @thetraditionalthomist recent 6hr video elaborating on the errors of the Novus ordo? I think you two should do a video considering both of you are protestant converts and Thomists.
Question regarding pastoral considerations for NO v TLM. I tend to agree that it will be difficult to implement sweeping liturgical change now, but couldn't the same be said when liturgical reform was done in the 60s? There was a priest on R&T some time ago that make the argument that it would be "unfair" to today's faithful to change back to TLM. Does that mean it was also unfair to yesterday's faithful when the changes were first made?
I would say it was unfair. However, we have to keep in mind that the NO is, generally speaking, simpler to learn than the TLM (TLM has extra prayers, Latin, e.t.c.). So to change back to the TLM from the NO would be harder than it was to switch from TLM to NO.
Regarding your critique of us who defend the Papal Magisterium, the problem is you claim to believe in Papa indefectibility, yet you make statements that starkly reject indefectibility, especially when it pertains to Pope Francis. That's the rub. Erik, is borderline sede, so that's a separate issue.
@MilitantThomist if you believe I'm wrong, then I will gladly correct based on the evidence. With regards to Erik, not going to retract that one; he had Kwasniewski on his channel recently, and both were in agreement. I know you said you don't RUclips much, but you may benefit if you paid a bit more attention to the content of some of these people.
@godfreym3550 Yeah, he is. Signed a document that NOT ONLY claims, falsely, that the Pope teaches heresy (rejecting indefectability), claims the Pope can not eliminate a Roman Mass rite (patently false), bit has gone so far as to question the legitimacy of the election of Pope Francis.
Bro was up past midnight with Dyer and still woke up for the saturday stream. based.
I'm a Nigerian, and we're just like every other Catholic: we are not polygamous, we follow Mother Church 💯
