One of the few places you will actually hear a catholic take on this issue.
INTEGRALISM IS THE ONLY WAY. BILLIONS MUST CONVERT. WE MUST OVERTAKE SOCIETY! CHRIST IS KING!
Ultimately, dialogue is about compromise. If you aren't willing to compromise you aren't entering the dialogue in good faith.
Based throughout. The Catholic Church must be intertwined inseparably with society, with culture, with law and order, with the political scene and with the monarchy. Why allow the unbeliever to turn wicked what is good?
Thank you for the admonishing Christian!
The perfect union between Church and State and the institution of Catholic morality into society is needed.
“Where sin is boldly committed, forget about custom. If evil things are done, even if the custom is ancient, abolish them. If they are not evil, even if they are not customary, introduce them and establish them.”
Hawaii cited a fucking TV show. Aquinas is leagues above that
This sounds like a 19th protestant conspiracy about how the irish and italians are going to submit America to Rome. Based anyway lol.
1000%.... Man this is spot on.
I’m confused as to the import of what you’re saying here. Are you separating dialogue from evangelization? Yes, if you think merely talking to the barbarians and pagans is going to stop them, you’ve lost the plot. It’s also the case, though, that Paul and the Church fathers clearly found a lot of utility and truth by, as you say, playing “buddy-buddy” with pagan philosophies corrupted by original sin like neo-platonism and Aristotelianism. Paul used pagan poetry to preach to the Athenians. Yes, there’s a place for martyrdom and St. Boniface chopping down the tree, but you seem to discount [?] all the thousands of little dialogues between elite patrician Romans and Christians that paved the way for imperial acceptance. Conversion of nations doesn’t consist of one specific action repeated over and over.

Is this a re-upload?
Nice video, people need to hear this. You look like the chad older brother of this dude i know who is culturally catholic but one of the biggest bugmen consumer types I've met, would surely be better off if you were
Jedi Thomas be like: Although John of Damascus was a great Jedi, he is incorrect in his work “On the Essence Energies Distinction.” We agree more with the Sith Lord Maimonides, who understands that that distinction would imply a division. We must therefore assert that Gods communication to the prophets must have been through holograms, like how we speak to our clone forces!

What about Fides et Ratio? That seems to be pro-dialogue from what I've read of it. For example, there's this line from Fides et Ratio paragraph 36:
Doesn't this stand against what the Pope has been saying since Vatican II?
