My mother died of scleroderma 20 years ago. I remember her arguing that her doctors put her on snickers bars to raise her blood sugar and give her energy bc she was always tired. She died when I was 8. I'm glad to see you survived. 3m carnivore. Never buying anything out of a box/bag/can again

I've been eating steak every day (im not 100% carnivore) and my period literally comes every month on the SAME date!!! I am laughing my head off because it's always the same date and usually it's a few days late or early or... just all over! It has been the exact same day every month which is amazing!! Imagine my health if I went 100%. My vegan friend hardly ever gets hers and if she does it's all over the place... she blames stress and I know in my gut she just needs a big fat steak!

The biggest, immediate thing I noticed within days my dehabilitating arthritis throughout my body was just gone. I wake up in no pain. I'm 49 and very active (5'3, 115lbs) but felt like I was dying when I'd wake up. So much pain. So much gastro pain and inflammation everywhere. And I practice an incredibly "healthy" lifestyle ( vegan/vegetarian for years). Years of working out, walking, No sugar, caffeine, alcohol, carbonated drinks, meds, and low carb for years. I was STILL feeling horrible. Salads plug me up (chronic scary bleeding). First thing I added back in was tomatoes and discovered these lil nightshades destroy me! It's incredible.

I also do a lot of mixed grill, fajita-style with thin sliced chicken, beef and shrimp. I love ground turkey. I do add a little seasoning and I eat a little avocado. I also eat chicken and beef soups. :)

Gastroparesis is definitely related to the vagal nerve and it results from pseudo hypoxia due to thiamine insufficieny causing dysautonomia. In "Thiamine deficiency disease, dysautonomia and High calorie mal Malnutrition " - Dr Lonsdale and Mars go into multiple case studies where the solution was a low carb diet and high dose B1. This cured a wide variety of gut issues and psychiatric issues. Carbs eat up thiamine and magnesium like nothing else. Keto and carnivore diets supply plenty of thiamine but often 50 to 100 times the RDA is needed to kickstart the impaired system.

@@stup4531 zinc, vit c , probiotics and omega 3s are often needed in excess with Celiac patients or those with acquired gluten sensitivity who have damaged guts. This has been proven with studies on both children and adults. It lowers inflammation and TNF in the gut and modulates the immune response. Also inflammation impairs senium absorbtion with further exacerbates gut inflammatuon in a negative feedback loop. A high quality multi...not centrum or other garbage, can often do wonders. I take B1...benfotime, every day as well. Extra glutamine and glycine can be helpfull as well as can a peptide called BCP157. I can relate to Rebecca so much, concerning the difficulty with eating. Especially when she talked about how eating meat made her feel bad in the beginning, and that's why it was so hard for her to make the transition to only meat. I struggle with nausea. I have my whole life. And even though I knew that plants were not good for me and I was weak and tired when I ate them, the nausea was very overwhelming to deal with on an all meat diet. I worked through the nausea even when it was so bad that I just couldn't eat. But I had to decide that I was willing to die on that hill "literally'' so I'm dying anyway eating plants and taking supplements, so if eating carnivore is going to kill me....oh well. I have to stop being afraid. The fear of making things even worse can be a deterrent to going all in on the carnivore diet. I know it has for me. But I am seeing the benefits just being on a low carb diet already. I have no gallbladder so it could be making my transition to fats more slow.

    • @truestory923

I told my dr to lower my immune suppressants it was hurting my heart, blood super thin, insomnia took my body forever to heal if I got cuts. it is probably not a good idea. You would not make it very long. So I took my situation and my own hands. I started physically lowering my dosage by 5 mg 10 mg listening to my body. my neuropathy in my foot started going away. My heart wasn’t hurting as bad! One morning when I was going in for my infusion, I was told by the head charged nurse that I’m either taking all of it or none of it. I told here my body right. She kind of smirk and said it don’t work that way and I told her have you ever heard of karma you better hope she don’t make a pitstop at your door. Then I walked out so I am no longer on immune suppressant I’m on strict diet carnivore then I transition to lion diet. It has been a year in six days. Thank you so much to you Dr. And Dr. Berry.

Amasing results, almost unbelievable having so many issues and being so young.
It is ontological math we are learning here: If you don’t start with a true premise, you can’t expect whatever you do, to work out well. So if you eat the wrong things, you will be sick. A wrong foundation will cause the house to fall. Simple.
    Cause and effect.
Better make sure you are following truths.
But by figuring it out, Rebecca’s story shows that we can get back again. Wow.
    Loved Rebecca’s ending quote:
58:35 ‘I think that just leading by example and living your life is the best way to convince someone to try it because they see you are happy and healthy and thriving…’
And Anthony’s story 53:18 when he moved to Perth, and most people were plant based. Thanks for sharing.

I worked with Rebekah for 3 months. I have been eating mainly carnivore for over a year now. She taught me so much and held my hand through it all. I highly recommend her as a health coach. I had candida, causing blisters, itchiness on my feet and toes. That`s all gone. I had fatigue, anxiety and felt at a loss as all doctors offered me was cortisone cream for my feet which did nothing except make the skin thinner on my toes.
Only one nurse asked me if I had food allergies and even then there was no interest or delving into that. Rebekah knew what was going on straight away. Veggies and fruits were so triggering for me, any sugar would cause flare-ups.
I have recently had a trouble shoot call with Rebekah and we`ve realised that I am possibly histamine intolerant and so fresh meat for me and I am taking DAO (Kidney) to help with this. I am already noticing the benefits.
What I love about Rebekah is that she will tailor your healing in regard to what is going on for you. Going carnivore took a while to adjust to. Unfortunately we seem to live in a quick fix society. It takes time. I will say that after eating meat for 2 weeks, all of my toe blisters disappeared.
I have introduced some variety back but as Rebekah says, as garnish. Nothing satiates me like meat does. We are all different and healing can be nuanced. Patience is required and Rebekah is an amazing coach. She walks the talk.
The benefits of going carnivore meant that I came off my HRT, I had more energy, my sensitive knees got better, I can now deep squat, amazing sleep, calmer, no more candida, I feel stronger and all in all I feel so much better.
It is unfortunate that most mainstream doctors just do not want to talk about it and when I tell them how much better I feel, they are not interested. They`re only interested in scaremongering about Cholesterol. I hope that one day this will all change 🙏

Great interview. I really admire Rebekah for being so strong and able to calmly tell such difficult and traumatic stories. She's so positive. It's great that you discuss such topics, because everyone who REALLY wants to get better starts looking for help. And having one or another disease that someone has withdrawn, he sees hope. It's a wonderful feeling. Eating meat quickly made me feel pain-free, and the gynecologist couldn't believe that with my endometriosis and after severe treatment in the hospital, I no longer had pain in my stomach during the examination. Thank you for giving knowledge and hope. There is very little information about carnivor in Poland, so your channels help a lot.

So you're finding that our kidneys can handle all the protein .. as they ... Whoever 'they' is used to say that too much protein in one sitting (they were referring to the protein shakes that have 20 grams of protein ) stresses the kidneys . Thank you for sharing!

Powdered whey protein is not the same as animal protein because it's refined and our kidneys are overwhelmed with it. When we eat a steak or a piece of fish it's slowly broken down in our digestive tract and the protein, vitamins and minerals are absorbed and what's not utilized is sent through to the liver and kidneys before being discharged in our urine and waste matter.

Im a kidney patient….for me it wasn’t an issue. I started very slowly and just kept increasing.
I’m ketovore now almost 6.5 years . I was told the kidney is like a muscle…and will gradually and slowly get use to the increased protein. This way may NOT work for everyone, but it worked for me.

I like your attitude about monetizing. I am one of those, who does it by watching the videos (might be why it took me a few tries to get there...) But since January 1st I am Carnivore and I feel so much better. Had issues with gastroparesis too, I was never diagnosed (nurse here, we tend to not go to doctors....). However, if you have stomach pain for hours and then throw up stuff you ate more than 12 hours earlier, it is pretty clear what it is.

Should be measured and be pushed through a very thorough analysis, but, realistically, who is going to fund that study, right?
The best we could get probably is a keto diet heavily focused on fatty meat as most keto diets in high level studies are, but with a side salad.
That would be nice, but really no one is going to make one that compares people on that keto diet to vegan diet people and sad diet people. Would be nice of course, and is a great idea from your part, would be such a great thing to have, but I'm afraid no one is going to fund a study like that, or at least not nowadays that's for sure

@@Crixx909I grew up on a sheep ranch. And when I was a kid my family ate our ram because my dad thought he was dangerous and might kill my little sister. So we had a giant freezer filled with Ramekins was his name and we ate him for a year until he was gone. And I've never since been fond of mutton. And Lamb Chops just are not my favorite thing. So I totally understand not favoring eating lamb. Listening to this I've been thinking I should try it again. And I might. But beef is best! I don't have a problem with histamines thankfully. 🐑

Obviously, everyone should have doubts about EVERYTHING on social media. And yes, there are many opportunist in the low carb arena, just like every other topic.
The difference is that the prevalence of anecdotal evidence for any form of very low carb eating fixing unfixable health problems has become staggering.
But it can only be anecdotal because the mainstream, where all the money is, does not want to investigate these topics. I believe that what we have lived through in the last few years PROVES that the mainstream is NOT looking put for our best interests, quite the opposite actually.
And yes, there will be different effects for people but it depends on how broken and sick you are going into it.
You have to make judgements based on the totality of the topic.
IMO, low to no carb eating stands up extremely well against any mainstream diet or health drugs/protocols.
