Two sweet rides in one day. A '68 Camaro and what a super sweet '81 Corvette you have (to present that is)! Once again, my hat goes off to you, Mia. Keep 'em coming!
My last vette owned was a 1981. Prior was a '74 after the '81 was an '84. The new 1984 was 100x (most) earlier models in regards to handling, suspension and *performance* .
Can you explain what you mean? I'm really interested in this car.
@@bambambamVB3 The car looks great! However it is built on the old 68-81 chassis, suspension and power train. The 1984 has significant improvements in these area's; Cross Fire Fuel Injection ('85 has Tuned Port injection). The brakes are improved over the prehistoric problematic 4 piston calipers. None were fast, but my '74 and a buddys '73 couldn't _begin_ to compete with stop light to stoplight performance of the '84.
@@metoon3092 Oh Ya! I loved the looks of the C4 and previous. Later vettes- espescially the newest mid-engines are hideous imo.
Cool
Not the fastest vette made but I'd still have it. Sharp weekend cruiser!
I’m so tempted! Love it!
Hard to beat a red Corvette Mia, that's a real beauty!
Its got great headlights!
Beautiful car very beautiful girl
Precisely.
These are really growing on me.
What is the parts and aftermarket like for this generation?
The sky is the limit for Chevrolet performance. You could make a strong runner with some aftermarket heads and cam on the original 350 engine probably 275-325 rwhp reliably. If you want more reliable power NA you can go Chevrolet LS power and really make some hp. Anywhere from 300 rear wheel hp to 500 rear wheel hp fairly easy.,When you get to that power level of 400 -500 rwhp the stock trans and rear end wont survive. There is a aftermarket for those pieces just do some research.
Really depends on what your hp and suspension goals are. I rode in a 350 hp 350 flywheel hp 1978 corvette and it moved pretty good. That would be around 275-285 rear wheel hp.
This was the original 350 engine with Edelbrock aluminum heads and cam. Still was running stock turbo 350 automatic trans and rearend. The 350 trans had a shift kit in it. No problems with the trans or rearend.
If you want big streetable power you could turbo a LS engine easy 600- 900 rear wheel hp.
Like I said the sky is the limit
One STOMP on the gas pedal with those killer boots, Mia!!
Nice C3 Mia!! 😀
@ 1:11, do the headlights retract? Survey says, yes! ❤ it!!!
@ 3:24, thank you, Mia. May we have another?
Nice outfit & view of water your even prettier Mia with your hair up. Luv the color of the car the kick down needs to be hooked up.
You look good riding in a vet but they ride like a mule and wagon same as a Z28 Chevy Camaro
