Eminem struggled with addiction for a significant part of his career, and in 2007, he experienced a drug overdose that led to his hospitalization. Following that incident, Eminem made the decision to get sober and began working on his recovery. In 2009, he released the album "Relapse," which marked his return to music. The album explored dark and controversial themes, and although it received mixed reviews, it had both fans and critics. In response to the feedback and personal growth, Eminem released the album "Recovery" in 2010. The album showcased his journey towards sobriety and featured more introspective and inspirational tracks. One of the standout songs from the album was "Not Afraid," which became one of Eminem's most popular and well-received songs. And now Eminem has remained sober for over 15 years. I would recommend reacting to song called - Deja vu by Eminem , he address his drug addiction in this one. P.S. Your reaction videos are great, I am really enjoying watching them 💙
Relapse is a masterpiece. It's arguably Eminem's greatest work of his life. It probably doesn't contain his best songs in terms of lyrical and technical skills, but the album as a whole is just out of this world. It's also his most misunderstood album ever. Not even his most hardcore fans understand what the album is actually about. Not even those who consider it as their favorite album (which is crazy). Plus the lyrics at face value won't appeal to wider audience. That's why it's easy to disregard it.
Relapse got a lot of mixed reviews but it's a concept album of horrorcore and the rhyhm schemes and flows he brings are unmatched. Some of the best technical verses I've ever heard!
Eminem is actually clean now over over 11 years maybe not sure how many years he's been clean relapse was a fire CD I f****** love it you was talking about Revival I actually f****** love that too just shows how much different styles you can do like I said before he is like the movies you get a little bit of everything whether you like it or not but I actually liked pretty much everything he's done there are few songs that I can't stand it would be cleaning out my closet and fack but he has way more than I like than any other artists out there a true lyrical genius Rap God goat 50 year old still killing it you should check out best friend caterpillar medicine man Underground 8 Mile the song stay Wide Awake 3 a.m. in the morning phenomenal so many it's crazy I be here all night great reaction see you on the next one
All of Em's albums are good but most only gained more resepect over the years. A lot of people don't like Em because they can't see what he does and miss a lot of things in his songs.
I really love the lyrics to his songs. I have to have them pulled up because he says everything so quick. I appreciate songs with a purpose and meaning. He gives it HANDS DOWN! More Em to come!
Relapse is considered by many including Em to be his worst album. He changed his style using accents throughout his songs hence the line in this song "perhaps i ran those accents into the ground". It was his first album post rehab from a drug overdose
In earlier albums he experimented with accents and skits. Eminem received many kudos for these skits and voice acting and as such he decided to do a concept album in which he used more accents throughout, this was Relapse. It was then hammered by critics and fans for being too heavily accented (some the same that urged for more) and stated he should go back to what he was good at. The next album he did just that and it was blasted for being not original. Personally i think eminem got so big that it became more interesting to tear him down rather than build him up.
Okay here we go it's not about being afraid of anything specific it's about being afraid of change there is not a human being on this earth that is not scared afraid of change whether it be moving to a new area starting a new job doing this or doing that this different than what you've always done we're terrified of it and the reason we're terrified of it is because we always lean to the negative but the thing is that I have learned in my 47 years on this planet is that once you start that process you realize that you were only afraid of you and you were afraid of how you would handle it when I was younger I find houses and I'm terrified of heights and I learned that I wasn't afraid of the hype I wasn't afraid of the distance I wasn't afraid of people around me I wouldn't afraid of any of that what I was afraid of was me you're afraid of you you're afraid you're going to make a mistake and you're going to fall and you're not going to know what to do when you fall I can tell you from personal experience that you got this you'll respond however you respond and it'll work out however it works out and there's nothing you can do about it you got this go for that change make that change don't be the NPC I have been most of my life do it be you I love you have a great day

"I feel like this is a comeback anthem, an apology, and a promise all rolled into one."
Absolutely nailed it 👌
I mean, you're listening to Eminem, there's no way around the cursing. This actually is one of his cleaner songs.

@@WhyAmIReacting Thanks for the reactions. Eminem has all kinds of songs but also a lot of motivational songs.
I saw someone recommend you listen to Deja Vu I think it’s a great suggestion.
Yeah it may explain a lot. There's a lot layers to eminem 😂
The songs Rap God and Godzilla really show his rap talent and even more word play, they’re not as ‘clean’ though but impressive!
