I did this walk last night after 12 beers and I've never practiced it before.

Very good good explanation and demonstration. At 74 years age, it is now second nature, I wish I would have this instruction when I started in my twenties.

In my country we call it, if you translate it literally, low double leg (takedown). Funny thing is I find it waaay easier when I do it faster, 'cause the momentum helps me bring the back leg to the front.

In Aikido, we call that type knee walking shikko. It comes out of the sword tradition that aikido is based on. Very well presented and thank you for the content.

Nice I want to see how this move is used in Aikido. Is interesting how many moves are similar in different martial arts

This video is a good explanation of how it is used and Aikido. I trained Aikido for about six years. And now I’ve been with jujitsu for about 15 years. I’m a purple belt so it is a slow progression for me but I enjoy it. I appreciate how you explain how this helps the hips to open up. I agree, there are a lot of similarities between various arts. Again, thank you for the wonderful content and I look forward to seeing more.

I feel so stupid after watching this video. Been doing jiu jitsu for a few months and I never opened my hips when we drill this. I can without any issue but I didn't know I was supposed to. I can't wait to shock my coach next class with my literal overnight improvement.

LOL my instructor say the same thing he didn't realize the position of the leg on the back helps to do the movement better. Happy was helpful

Nice drill, but that's a funny name. Seems like a name you would give to capture the attention of a children's class. No shade, just an observation. Good video overall!
