If its canceled and I knew it would never happen to begin with, its because Connor is afraid to fight Michael. Plain and simple and he is just making excuses. McGregor has been washed up ever since Dustin smashed him twice. He should have retired long a go.
This. He’s so bad now it’s actually dangerous for him to get back in the ring, he could get life changing injuries. He knows himself hes never going to fight again, it was all marketing
chandler needs to forget mcgregor and just get back in the ring , that money fight ain't coming.
I think, depending on Conor's injury, they're gonna try to rebook it for around October/November time to co-incide with Jones' likely return date.
Conor wants to fight out his contract and fuck off from the UFC, their relationship ain't great and Conor wants some of that Saudi coin without the UFC getting in on it. The only way he does that is to fight Chandler, and maybe someone like Tony for a guaranteed W on the way out but Dana has said it has to be Chandler first. That in itself probably irks Conor, he's lost the power he once had. Old Conor could have got out of this fight.
If it doesn't happen this year or at the latest early next though, then yeah Chandler should move on.

The problem with Ariel is he said it was both on and off multiple times. He tends to do it that quite often. Then he claims he was right citing his comments then caveating the ones that support his correct position.
Thats the nature of breaking journalism. I get that. But I’m also not going to say he got it “right”. Getting it right would have been to combat the narrative it was “back on” he absolutely did not do that . In fact he had the audacity to have a secret source he couldn’t talk about the “real” reason he knew was true why the presser was scrapped. But even with this info he claimed to have yet wouldn’t share it but did still confirm it (which is a huge problem hour journalistically ), he STILL said the fight looked to be back on. That alone makes it so he can’t claim he was right. Bc he actually by his own account had even more solid evidence to the contrary yet still went against it. He wasn’t right. But it’s also true. Most of the time I believe he does fantastic work
He can clearly claim he was right. He made it very clear if it was precarious situation taking place. Not everyone will be satisfied with how that went down, but when he said it was fluid and uncertain, he meant it.
Also....he can't reveal his source if they asked him not to? Legit CAN'T or face serious consequences.

Conor convinced a judge to postpone his June court date. It was pushed to November because of his "fight" with Chandler. Looks like his next "fight" will be November now. He'll get a November UFC date, a continuation from the court, and then he'll back out again. Rinse & Repeat

Why does everyone say he's never pulled out? He was literally pulled from 200 for refusing to do media after losing to Diaz, sure he didn't pull out himself but his actions got him pulled from the fight. You can't even excuse it either, this is a guy who made a career from trashing non English speaking aldo but couldn't handle the heat when he lost.
