- I always dreamed about having a Porsche GT car and finally I was able to make it a reality. Big shout out to Jake Wilmott at Porsche of North Houston for getting me the allocation and being there every step of the way.

Congrats - I'm 'green' with envy. I like the bold PDK decision - I think best with this tall gearing car. Enjoy!!!
Thank you!! yeah I thought a lot about the PDK choice and the fact that it may impact the resale value. At the end of the day it came down to what I had in mind for the car. The car is going to be more of track car than a fun weekend toy. I think the best way to order these things is to get a manual Sypder for the fun weekend getaway and a PDK GT4 for track laps.
I 1000 percent agree. PDK is absolutely amazing. My Cayman is 2021 is grey metallic

😅😅😅yeah i only had racing gloves at the time. i got a pair of driving gloves but man i hate the look of alcantara when if gets al gunked up with oil and dirt

Congrats on the car. That was the exact color combo I was going to get but I changed to Shark Blue. I have a question for you, did the seats come with side bolster protector? Or are they after market?
Shark blue is also a great choice.. wasn't available when I placed my order.. looking forward to see your color combo in real life (hoping you went with aurum & shark blue). I did get bolster protectors (only available in aftermarket from a rennlist member) but I only installed them after this video. Have it my next video.

haha I knew someone would eventually ask. The Alcantara wheels are nice to touch but they accumulate a lot of DNA and lose texture very quickly. Since then I've got a pair of leather driving gloves (these you see are my track gloves). It really helps keeping the alcantara clean and makes it more of a special occasion (mentally) when I drive the call. Plus the new gloves have yellow stitching so hey, matchy matchy.
@@blendlinegarage42 I was the same way in the beginning (fellow GT4 owner) but over time I realized that it was just too much for driving around. Since then, I picked up Sonax Alcantara cleaner and give it a clean every other week. Looks and feels like new every time, guaranteed! If the gloves are your thing, more power to you! Congrats on the purchase though, beautiful color and optioned just right!
@@LeetosLive yeah I hear you. Every time I pull up at the lights I slowly lowers my hands. I will def trythe Sonax Alcantara cleaner. Thank you for the suggestion
