Susan Hoagland is a great example of the kind of people who keep our country moving.
We agree with you. Have a great weekend.
@@KnightTransportation1 hi
Really?
A example not hardly has no idea how to do anything

Linda's smile is intoxicating and sue is an amazing person
We so agree :) Thank you for watching
Knight Transportation has one of the best employees I have ever seen... Susan is a huge asset to the company and a rare breed...Stay healthy and keep up the hard work...
I was scared to get my CDL til I watched Susans calm and kind demeanor. Thank you for the empowerment ma'am. Now Im only nervous because it's not going to be you who actually trains me. 😭😭😭 No doubt you will have many jewels in your heavenly crown.
Has she transitioned? I so wanted for her to train me?
drove for this company for 5 years, they taught me everything I needed to know about the trucking industry and the business aspects behind it all. Now I own my own Pete 389 running my own small business. anybody wants to get into driving and owner/operator status, this is the company right here for you
Mitch, that's awesome! We're happy to see you doing so well!
Ms. Hoagland defines the phrase "The presence of greatness".
Susan is such a wonderful gal. Entering trucking isn't a cake walk, so having someone like Susan to show you the ropes and tips to make things easier is invaluable. To all my fellow truckers, keep your eye on the other guy and hammer down. "Eagle Claw " on the side. 👍👍
Prayers for Susan's good health!
I just really hope Knight Transportation acknowledge the great work and commitment Susan have.God Bless you Susan.
After 36 hours with these ladies you can't help but love em. As the guy behind the curtain I must say filming each each episode gets better and better. Susan has got to be one of the hardest workers I have ever seen and Linda is a sincere social butterfly. Both tough as nails. So impressed with both of you!
I truly enjoyed our adventure. You did a fabulous job with the video! Thank you

Agree with all you say, but for the hardest worker. No. It's all in a days work for all truck drivers everywhere. The world believes we all sit on our backsides and get paid for it too. It's a hard way of earning a living.
So many drivers go that extra mile to get the job done every single day. But people rarely see that effort so in their minds, it doesn't exist. I'm pleased that Linda made the effort to see for herself.
As an ex- international driver I know first-hand how frustrating driving can be when you're always against a deadline - It's made me super-punctual by nature, and I now stick out in a crowd by always being on time - mores the pity.
Linda Dominy Hi! Beautiful hope you are doing well . God bless stay safe
I hope every employee at Knight is as dedicated as Susan. Every company needs a representative like her!
Awesome too see two strong modest ladies so kind and big hearted ❤ This is what I tried to teach my girls. Kindness is not weakness. Many blessing ladies.
This experienced girl is so good at her job and does running repairs without batting an eyelid good for her, she's a star. Great film really enjoyed this
Thank you for watching and commenting. She is indeed really good. We're proud to have her on our team.
Susan Hoagland... YOU ARE A FIGHTER! Searched in a dictionary a word that can identify your guts, found none to describe it, because it's huge! Here goes a solidarity hug from a former trucker.
Awwww. Your comment is so awesome. I am sure she is going to love it when she reads it.
Thanks, i think she already did, though the comment disappear. Anyway, wish you all the best. Good to see a company taking good care of their employees.
Susan is by far one of the nicest lady drivers on the road today and that company should be lucky to have her as a driver
Man Susan is very professional and organised. I think a few people in the industry could learn from her
I agree i'm a beginner to the truck driving industry in my country and she reminds me of myself and that's how it should be. It will make your day so much better and your delivery much better.
Hug a swift driver today !! Pass it on !! Let’s help these young swift drivers .. I wanna see the entire trucking industry step up and spread positive energy to this awesome trucking industry and universe!! Love all of you !!!!
Knight driver
Susan is just so nice and seems like a all around good person. I wish her all the best.
That's awesome how Linda actually accompanied Sue in all the situations instead of just staying in the truck like most non-truckers do.
@Gregory hello, how are you doing
What a great attitude Susans go.
No messing. No fuss. Just gets on with it.
Suitably impressed
Much respect to Susan, a very hardworking woman.
God bless you Susan! You are simply amazing...
Susan, what an inspiration. I'm about to hit the road again. Did it briefly years ago and now I'm returning as I miss it. I had not considered Knight but I will. Watching your video gave me pointers and reminded me just how much I miss that lifestyle. Being single and no kids, it works for me! Thanks for the video.
After 39 years I just gave up my CDL 3 weeks ago and all endorsements.
My 48 state truckin and owner operator days have come to an end.
Time to think about retiring and goin fishin, and star gazing, and photography, and kayaking, and ham radio, and breakin out the metal detector, gettin into my solar panel hobby, and gardening, and what ever else I feel like doing for the rest of my life.
:)
Susan is the epitome of what a truck driver should be. This is a great video it should empower any woman or any person anywhere to say they can do it if they want to. This is great that Knight is doing these ride alongs. It should definitely give each person doing them a new respect for what a driver does day in and day out. It should also give the driver a new respect for the job the person riding with them does as well as you are all getting to know one another. I'm a man with 15 years experience and I was thoroughly impressed with this video and enjoyed every bit of it. Thanks Knight for sharing this with us all.
And she's doing all that after fighting Cancer, and if you notice, she is wearing a "Life Belt" around her waist under her shirt. Prob has antibiotics and an insulin pump 24/7.
great speech...
pass the tissues
JNB 4L but the women is a duke tho so your point is totally invalid 😂😂😂
JNB 4L Susan is getting paid to make Knight look good. I'm sure she doesn't really check the tire pressure of every trailer she picks up. I'm sure she doesn't air up the tires under 95psi. This is nothing but a propaganda film. The trucking industry is a sad pathetic joke. It's a horrendous way to make a living. And it's because of companies like Knight and the other bigs that have ruined it. Hauling cheap freight because they have volume. Drives down the price of freight and this, that snowballs to the driver.
Susan is a great example of the ingenuity, skill and patience professional drivers exhibit everyday. Thank you for bringing us good stuff EVERY DAY!
she is an amazing person. I truly enjoyed learning about her. I appreciate her letting me invade her space
Your hot Linda!!
+Linda Dominy ... i hope Susan got a pay rise?
Where do I go to have Susan be my instructor? I want to learn from the best and from some one who is patient.
the Phoenix terminal. She is a wonderful person.
Wow, I am super impressed with Susan, she is resourceful and very safety conscious. Huge respect!!
This was excellent. I am considering the Knight trucking school. Very excited to get started. Susan seems like one of the best truckers you could learn from. Love her personality and she resourceful & a perfect example of a woman in trucking showing women are just as capable as men out there!
Hey Linda, thanks for getting real! This is what I am looking for from management, the respect from management is very rare! You are a great person and your company is a great company!
Susan's story is very touching.Like her dedication to duty though.May the good Lord give her more strength.
Susan you are great, strong and determined woman. Stay blessed...
Recently received my CDL, watching this AMAZING driver inspires me to want to be a better driver myself, so resourceful, so calm and polite.
Lot of respect for what semi truck drivers go through. Susan was obviously a professional driver and it was great to see a little behind the scenes of what drivers encounter day to day. Thanks for sharing.
Absolutely. Our driving associates are incredible.
Susan what a lovely woman you are. Genuine, friendly, polite...Wish you more health and strength.
What a lady such a nice person keep on trucking beautiful glad you are in remission 💕💕🇬🇧🇬🇧
Susan you are professional thanks you keep america moving. 🚚
Just saw this video. Susan seems like a genuinely sincere and good hearted person. I kinda detected a little sadness in her voice when she said she was single with no family left. No worries, Sue; you are respected and admired by legions of people everywhere. My thoughts and prayers are with you as you continue your recovery. God bless and take care!
All respect for what Women's do and go through all over the world. Thank you great video.
Thank you or watching. We really appreciate that!
Linda got to see what truck drivers go through while on the highways going from point A to point B, and back. She was good company for Susan and they made for a good team while out on the freeways.
Susan is an amazing driver! You can tell she is a pro and really loves what she does.Knight you should consider your company blessed to have such a wonderful woman on your team.
Susan is truly a professional in every way!
We agree Susan is awesome.
Any Lady that can change out a mudflap has my vote. Way to go, Susan. Linda, lets give Susan, IndianaJack and Sinn a bump in pay. The front office will listen to you. Enjoyed the video and thumbs up. Peace.
Paul Deknikker A big hell yeah for Indiana Jack, guy is a real professional!
Martin Calwell come drive for Knight and you will have new equipment too
Where was the new equipment when I drove for Knight?
Linda Dominy I just applied for Knight
Timmy2x I am so happy to hear that. When do you start?
Susan is a true warrioress!!!
Hats off to you ma'am!
God Bless Susan.
Hard working lady although she’s retired. Beautiful soul. Need more people with her attitude in all work fields.
We couldn't agree more! Thank you for watching our video.
AMEN to that! God bless and watch over you Susan. 😊
As the owner of a mid sized trucking Company, Knight is fortunate to have these two women as employees. Congratulations !
Susan, I hope you stay well, and you are a tremendous role model for women drivers! Knight should pay you more ;)
It's not medium size anymore...got SWIFT now
Susan is a great teacher, trucker, role model and a true professional. I have a lot of respect for professional drivers, they put up with so much b.s. and everyone of us rely upon them everyday for the stuff we use. Knight transport seems to be a pretty good outfit and its great getting the office people in touch with the ones who actually make the money. Good bonding and understanding of what it takes.
Susan is AWESOME ... RESPECT to Susan .. God Bless.
She is indeed. Thank you for the wonderful comment. Have a great weekend.
1 of the shitty places places ever 2 work!
@@Freebirdridin06 please explain remember drivers look to theses videos to learn if we want to drive for them 😂 Thanks for your feedback
I see alot of comments about Linda but I will say that Susan is a fresh prospective to a driver. She is always forward thinking and knowledgeable. Knight should be lucky to have her on board. We need more women like her in the industry. I must say that this is a great idea to mix things up within the company. Good job knight.
We agree Abraham Susan is wonderful :)
Susan s attitude blew me away... Some people would be ticked off with the mudflap or the air in tires or rude people.. Susan saying just kill them with kindness is the attitude you need.. Having gone thru the cancer treatment etc, Susan knows that you cant control all situations and she doesnt take things for granted. No matter what business you are in, you can learn a lot from just watching this short video... Life is too short to be stressing about stuff you cant control... I love the fact that the company has highest levels of management ride along.. The drivers love this. Knight seems like a good company to work for.
which type did she say they found out????
Attitude is EVERYTHING in Trucking.!!
Nice job ladies. Linda, I know trucking seems like a monotonous job. But, like anything job you adjust and it becomes much easier over time. My hats off to Susan. Checking tire psi on all the tires takes a real dedicated employee.
They both have a great attitude and Linda is gorgeous!
5 knuckle shuffle XMEN, beat it. this stream is about waggoners, not your priapism.
It was very nice of the driver to give her the experience of real trucking. When I was driving, I hated having a passenger. This lady here may have been the exception for me though. What a sweet lady. the director of the payroll was. The driver was sweet and had the patience of an angel.
I'd pay any money to get my truck training with Susan. People with a personality like hers definitely make the difference. Nice vid.
h
Well Said 👍👌💯
💯
Juan Jaramillo can I get trained by the lady pliz!! How much do I have to pay for this?!
I'd pay double
I remember when I was trained in Covenant Transport with David Warble, very professional trainer and great guy. Thanks to all patience trainers
How cool... Are you still driving?
Susan took pride on what she is doing. I'm so happy seeing people enjoy what they do,
best prayers and wishes for her.
Love from Indonesia! :)
Stumbled upon this by accident...couldn't turn it off.....all of a sudden I'm a big fan of Susan....extremely cool lady. Linda was also very entertaining....I'm sure she has a total respect for drivers.
@Ron hello,how are you doing
Hi. The driver is awsome, she is totally awsome, she pays attention to detail and would be a asset to any company she works for. great videos showing the positive side of trucking. Take care. Hawk out!
@Roger hello,how are you doing
I work in truck stop and some of the most polite drivers and funniest drivers I've ever met work for Knight!
Awesome that is great news. Thanks for sharing
Susan is my inspiration, god bless strong women
Great job Linda and Susan!
Perfect explanation (for backing): "you're driving the trailer"! I can c why u train!
This ended up being my "feel good" experience of the day !! Thank you Ladies for the adventure and camaraderie. You worked well together and made this fun. : ) Best wishes to both of you.
Susan Hoagland you are a true professional!
indeed
Bravo and it's nice to see office people actually experiencing the life
More need to do this.

@Juan Great video, How are you doing
Hope we get to know each other with time and patience?
You are truly a patient and professional driver; thats why Knight is at the top of my list
God bless women who drive for a living
As a former truck driver, I sincerely enjoyed this vblog! Susan you're such a great course trainer. Hopefully Linda learned what she needed too with more than the basics taught! Safe & happy trucking to the both in the future!!
Thanks Ms. Susan, I also picked up on the error I made w/names! Lol...
Thanks to Susan for giving a personal touch to truckers! She is awesome and I have never meet her. She said she doesn't have family, however she does have a huge family, of truckers!!!!!
I had my semi truck license but I never drove any semi truck...seeing this video. .I so amazed for this women.. she can do what man can do..she survive in her life fighting cancer and now...she is heroes of the road. I'm pretty jeleousy...God bless all trucker all over the world..accept my dad...he working for 20years serving his life in the road...greeting from borneo ( sabah).
Rick Robert I know your type.. you had your class A just to say you had one 😂
Chevy Avila I’m one of those guys I tried trucking not my thing it’s a hard life I even went back a few years later and got all my endorsements
The driver of this truck is a very sweet lady
We agree Richard...
Yes she is ..Very Sweet lady ...
Richard Smith zz
@@KnightTransportation1 she is very kind
@@KnightTransportation1 do you do CDL training and help get my CDL license i need a job bad and do you have any of your company trucking facilities in indiana
Many props to Susan to watch her change the mud flap with vise grips and a box wrench, I was impressed. Usually I just have to cut the bolts off I've been working on tractors and trailers for a long time now. A mud flap is a huge deal as far as safety goes. Most truckers would just get in and roll.
Great. I'm glad top brass are getting out in trucks to experience just a taste of what we do. Awesome!
I wish we had enough time and resources to record them all. I would need a team of people to record them everyday in order to capture all of them.
Wow nothing but respect for this lady hope I get someone this good when I start my career
Ismael Cerna You probably won't, but it's only temporary.
Ismael Cerna I agree totally
Susan has the perfect attitude for driving - and I wish her all the best with her remission. I really enjoyed this OTR video...thanks!
i think every company dispatchers etc should take ride alongs, thumbs up knight
I'm a retired aircraft builder from McDonnell Douglas/Boeing. and I'll be testing for my Class A (CDL) this Friday. I had planed on local runs, but this video intrigued me to checkout OTR.
Thank you for sharing.
Thank you for watching. What decision did you come too?
Knight Transportation Im thinking of regional runs, home every weekend until I gain approximately 4-6 months experience, then if I can find a local, home every night company, I may do that. But from what I've gathered, the pay is lack luster. I'll have to wait and see. By the way, I passed my CDL test and got my class A with all endorsements including passenger.
HGAviator Where did you do your training and did the company pay?
Wow, Susan is pure gold. Great representative for the company.
We agree. She is incredible.
I agree 100%, both ladies were awesome
My jaw dropped out of the impression. I can't stop shocking ..... What an Amazing, wonderful woman. Incredible strong character .... I'm lying in my truck watching this video and just fell in love with a new man who lives about five thousand miles away from me. I am your family Susan with all my heart. I asked my God about you, maybe someday I can drink coffee with you and spend time with you. WWWWWOOOOOWWWW I love YOU very much. Absolutely, You are not alone. And I'm still in shock. I still want to be in that shock. It's absolutely wonderful great things to watch this video. Thank you very much!!!!!!!! My wife and our two boys are want to seeeeeee you 💪🏼
Just discovered this video. Yes, what an awesome lady Susan is, to share a part of her life as a truck driver. And more. Best wishes Susan!
Glad to hear that you are in remission Susan!
I am very happy to hear you’re in remission Susan. I have cancer as well. It’s throat cancer but in remission
My cancer is in my throat as well. I hope you are in remission too
always bring zipties and a stanley knife.
if you blow a tire and it rips the brakeline , just fold and close it with a ziptie. then adjust the brake out manually on that wheel..
then you can drive it to closest service shop after changing the tyre.
the most used tools of all.
Loved this video. Very capable and kind.
"Im gonna get a tire gauge". Says no other drive ever. This lady is already awesome.
Maybe we could all learn something from this amazing lady
Susan is consummate professional knight should be very proud to have her as an employee.
We're very proud of all our driving professionals. Thank you for watching
Robert Haag Amen!! Amen!! Came across as a truly lovely person!! She made me think Really hard about trucking!! Coming from a wife of a 41 year Veteran long haul driver for YRC(Yellow Roadway Freight/Corporation)!! We love truckers!!!❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
companys don't care about their employees anymore
My first time coming across your video. Nowadays you see alot of women being jealous and bitchy towards each other. But I was amazed to see these two women get along so good on the road and have that camaraderie for each other! Linda is a beautiful student in with an open mind of learning to drive truck. I like how she said that driving truck is not for her. Which is cool because being a truck driver is not for everyone. On the other hand Susan is an excellent professional instructor with a beautiful heart and soul. She beat cancer and she's a survivor! I wish she was my instructor!! Susan is just filled with wisdom and knowledge I could just ride with her all day and not get bored. Susan is an inspiration!! Great video!
MUCH RESPECT TO THESE LADYS.
omg this lady..Susan Hoagland its amazing , its seems like really friendly and she knows what she"s doing . This company have to be proud of having ppl like her cuz its truck driving its a lonely career ,and as a female I really admire how strong she its my bless to both of us ...nice video..
Thank you. Susan is a great lady. Glad you enjoyed the video...
What a pro. The driver obviously has talent. Pleasure to watch and interesting.
Id love to go riding with this wonderful woman. Knight is lucky to have her. Thx for this great video.
Great vid , lots of respect for the job you do. Linda , good luck with your remission, God bless!
hope to have a driver trainer like her...very approachable and down to earth!!!!!!
@charles hello,how are you doing
You guys had beautiful chemistry, thanks for a very enjoyable video.
Thank you for watching.
She is trucking!!! You all better give her a raise!!
This lady reminds me of my grandma when I was a kid. Classy yet still a hard worker.
Susan, if you were a soldier you would probable be a general,i hope you have a long and pain free life,so much respect from the UK.
Lady learns a real life lesson.
People cut off a truck all the time, because they don't want to be behind it.
They'll do anything to avoid being behind a truck, even drive dangerously for it - only to find there's always yet another truck in front of them and now there's an likely enemy behind them.
Human nature! Gotta love it.
Iv seen a car cut one off next you know one behind one in front one on side they coudnt go no were
Excellent video. Susan, Great teacher / driver. Linda, Great student as well. You ladies were are awesome!!!!
