    Centre drilling the steel block in the toolpost from the Headstock is a great way of ensuring the boring bar will always be on "Centre Height" with no need for packing strips.

    Consider PPE for your hands when cold blueing. Many of the products are poisonous. Stay healthy and make more videos !!

    Tem como passar o nome do produto.
    É esse produto ele não sai tão fácil assim na mão né.

      Olá, é um líquido de escurecimento de metais, comprado no aliexpress! O escurecimento mantém-se muito bem na superfície do metal, um revestimento muito bom - chamado GEFEST! Obrigado por me veres, meu amigo, e sê bem-vindo🙂

    No se mucho de maquinados,pero yo lo hubiera hecho de una sola pieza,con una segueta mecanica,o una sierra cinta..y no soldar y luego tumbale la soldadura... pero lo bueno es la iniciativa 👍

    my PJ's dont last very long out in the shop....my crocs aren't much better center drilling on the lathe is a genius move I like it

    You seem, at various times, to "climb mill" then to conventional mill... Do you have a backlash eliminator? is your leadscrew a ballscrew. (minimum/minimal backlash?)

    Sorry. was ist das denn? Erst schweisst Du wurzel-Zwischen-und Decklagen und fräst die dann wieder runter?? Wenn Du den Platz brauchst, hättest Du eine 1/2 V-Naht schweissen können...

      Liquid for cold bluing of metal and before bluing the metal it should be degreased with solvent😉

    Bolts from stainless steel? You are crazy! Use bolts grade 10,9 or high!
