Good video but the title is inaccurate. This is very early beginner crafting information. The guide that deserves this title would review affix opportunity cost and give in depth examples of why you would target an affix on a specific gear slot and how you would go about making BIS gear for a given character. Couple this video with TC’s recent video on affixes and opportunity cost and you are most of the way there.
really like the crafting system in this game. Had some god tier double exalted items with another fractured t4 mod on them in the offline version of old game build. Bet they would go on trade for enough to fund a whole character

3:23 you did use the shard for the craft, it goes down from 133 to 132. but you gained two tiers, the first one did consume the craft, but that second tier (which was the actually critical success) did not consume another shard. might be worth to state like so, to prevent misunderstandings.
Hey there, thanks for a video. I'd like to take a crafting advice from you: let's say I got a 4 affix item, but I want to get rid of one of the affixes, is this a good idea to seal this affix so I can add something else in its place?
Removal will be a 25% chance of hitting the affix your wanting to remove. If the affix you want to remove is Tier 1 or 2 and is on an exalted item, sealing it would have a much higher chance of success and not risk removing other good tiers.
Hey, thanks for the refreshed vid - question, when you seal an affix (you did Necrotic T1) does it seal at the tier the affix is at? If so, what/when tier level do you suggest for targeting when to seal an affix?
Amazing video and to the point, love it! Maybe you can also make a damage scaling/optimisation video. It woud help immensely with understanding what affixes/skills to go for, especially since the in-game tooltips aren't perfect.
Runes drop on the ground, from chests, and from monolith rewards. By the time you finish the campaign and start monoliths, you will get a lot of them without even trying. While leveling though it is recommended to buy runes of shattering from the vendor whenever you can because you wont have a big stockpile of them yet. You can then use them to shatter items with useful affixes for your class to use in early crafting. Affixes with +skills, hybrid health, or cooldown reduction for example are quite rare and are worth shattering.
@@edd2811 thanks. Can you tell me why sometimes when I craft a prefix is locked. Its only T1 but can't lvl it. Others (prefixes and suffixes) can be upgraded.
You're pronouncing affix wrongly :( It's not a-ffix, rather aff-ix. No real pause there either but to kinda get an idea. Or just look it up somewhere :)
don't know, who is playing arpgs for crafting? its all about loot. some manipulations are ok but crafting whole items, even if not very powerfull ruined d4 for me. you instantly have the gear for any build and all you receive from loot are power upgrades. boring, like a bloated lost ark honing system.

how did you change your mouse cursor? I keep losing track of it in game.
Is combining legendary item with exalted item keeping 2 random affix?
If your unique has 2 LP it will take 2 Random affixes off the exalted. a 4 LP will take all 4. A 1 LP randomly pulls 1.
