- Been itching to take this apart to see what's inside. The quality seems pretty good for being such a tiny machine!

You are correct, Kodak was the inventor of the digital camera. Having worked for a very large company I'm sure that the film side made sure that they squelched the digital technology. A friend of mine was one of the engineers that went to Xerox to back engineer the Mouse. The result was the Apple Lisa computer. Big companies can really do dumb stuff. Xerox could've been a leader in computers.
no print head and no depositing of ink- it's dye sublimation and lamination-
--A dye sublimation printer works . The ink sublimates, or become a gas without liquefying first. The process lays down varying amounts of three primary colors plus a clear coating onto the paper. The gas solidifies on the page, resulting in full-color images.
I just picked up one of the series 3 docks from a thrift store. once the camera is docked and the power is turned on, then the dock takes control of the camera. The central control with arrows then lets you step through the images in the camera memory and use the camera display. My dock is only printing half the image but I have already found a repair video and will help me to get the printer working properly.
Hah! I had one of these! If I recall correctly, the little plastic moulding at the top was removable, as you'd get the proper one for your camera in the box with the camera itself.
excellent
Hey Mate I got this same model but I cant find any drivers online to make it work
I saw that you are using a USB to print the images.
Can you please let me know what kind of USB is that because it is not working with any other USB sticks that I tried
It was a cheap micro SD to USB adapter that came with a toy drone. I didn't show it on the video, but I think I had a cheap 2 or 4GB micro SD in it, probably formatted as FAT32. The only thing on it that may be a model number is "FL2015F". There's some text on it that says "Drone 12.4inch with camera".
I had recently tried to find drivers for it as well and couldn't find anything either.
Thank you so much for your reply.
How did you import the pictures to the USB?
Was it just normal jpgs? @@ThatElectronicsFool
@@oronoklok2998 Yeah, pretty sure it was just jpgs.
I tried a norma usb stick and it is not reading it.
Do you think there may be a difference if I use a micro SD to USB adapter?
@@ThatElectronicsFool
@@oronoklok2998 It's possible, after thinking about it some, I think I vaguely remember that I had some sticks that didn't work when I was trying to print off them. Also, maybe try a small capacity device formatted to FAT16. I think these printers were pretty picky with what worked.
Drivers ? What were they once. Not had need of drivers for years.

Thank you for the wishes! I hope you had a good xmas as well and have a happy new year!
hey hey hey😭😭
Why is my Kodak EasyShare printer dock Series 3 only printing out half of my pictures. For example if I print it out a picture of my face it would only print out the left side and the right side of my face would be completely white and Blake like nothing ever was on it.
There is a video on RUclips about how to fix that issue
