11:11 That basically inception movie's whole plot right there. She planted an idea in your head and you made it come true.
Admits to having their Venmo hacked because she clicked on a link.
Later says: "I know a legit psychic, and she changed my life"
Yeah, Julia is going to get hacked again in the future. She hasn't learned.
Definitely.
Textbooks arendefinitely a scam. I remember when the price jumped from $50 to $120. They also started printing new editions every year that just had some bs 5 page booklet attached.
My school didn't have us buy textbooks. You basically borrowed them from the library and at the end of the school year before you got your grades you would return them in good condition.
If the book was in too bad condition to return, then the parents would have to pay for it before you got your grades.
@@donemu9096 Yeah, that's elementary school. Wait until you get into college where your parents legally can't save you without your written permission.
Looking forward to the obligatory "Jaby visits a psychic" vlog episode.
Omg same
OMG! I’m not the only one that can hear that slight boop before the scammers start talking!
I was 10 or something young and naive, and fell for the popup "We detected you have a virus, to fix, please purchase full version of virus protection". Luckily though I only had access to a pre-paid visa gift card, so did not lose alot of money on that. But losing my christmas gift card money was worth it to teach me the valuable lesson that the internet can lie and will try to cheat you.
her saying psychics shouldnt be a scam scares me
11:37 if you’re lying…you better move😂😂😂😂😂
The reason a Psychic can not be illegal is that they are, essentially, just a crappier therapist. cold reading is something high end therapists use to get you to shell out your cash without asking.
I’m no psychic but if i were a psychic, I would say Jaby has less than $10 in his wallet at this moment. Jaby doesn’t typically carry cash but he tries to have a small amount for emergency purposes.
To add to what Julia was saying about scam calls and how there's a delay responding when you answer, I've found in my experience that when the scammer responds, they also sound very distant. That alone is enough for me to know they're full of shit.
Jaby, yes, there should be a rigorous test for psychics. But I am sure the psychic community would be in uproar if that was proposed.
Also, they would try to say psychics are not for silly guessing games like money in purses. We must ask them exactly what they can do, and test it exactly. I bet each and every psychic would prove to be fake if you really went after them.
I love your voice recorder idea if you could pull it off - it would make great content, atleast for me.
Imagine this though. Everything exists in a flux of probability. And if we could learn to sense these probabilities we might be able to notice something, like that you should miss the bus you're planning to take and go on the next one instead. But you can't really tell it's a bus, you just know there something being planned that is going to lead to a negative outcome, and slightly altering this plan would lead to a better outcome. It's very vague because you're picking up on probabilities in the space/time continuum, and maybe your brain translates that into images or words that provide a symbolic framework for something that's beyond our regular experience, something that works trough quantum entanglement, or something even more crazy that we've not even considered yet. But you could see how this wouldn't be able to find out how much money is in someones pocket. So if you wanted to actually test this you couldn't just device a simple test about how often they could guess what was in the box or something. You'd have to have an entire group of people, preferably hundreds, always following the advice of psychics for better or for worse over an extended period of time and then find out if they feel like their lives have improved and if it has improved significantly in comparison to the control group that didn't get any advice. And you'd also have to take into consideration that a temporary negative outcome could end up producing a more positive future long term. So you'd really have to follow people trough out an entire lifetime. And you'd also have make sure that nobody in your test group was picking up on these same things without being aware of it as that would skew the results. And you also can't measure success as for example money or status, you'd have to find out how these people are actually feeling about their lives at the end of the day. And the people following the psychics advice can't believe in psychics or that could skew the results too, they might simply be happier because they believed in something beyond themselves, which is known to give people a sense of purpose. But then the control group would also have to be directed what to do, just by someone that is not psychic, or that could skew the results, someone might end up being more or less content because they have no control over their own lives. And so on. Point is that people that believe in psychics and other such things have a far more complex and nuanced word view than the "find out how much money is in my pocket" cartoon version of psychics non-believers like to imagine, hence why people still believe in such things despite all the efforts made to debunk it. Wouldn't be an easy thing to test, but if you can get the funding then go for it, would be an interesting thing to see.
@@daniel4647 I was about to rush to comment that the control group would also be needed to be given random advice as soon as I read your first few lines, but you said it later. But don't worry, I think any resentment at telling them how to live their lives would be the same as in the test group I think?
Now, there has to be a lot of discussion about how this experiment should be done, but before that I need to tell you an argument I read in a Richard Dawkins book. If I tell you there was a teapot orbiting Jupiter, would you believe me without a reasonable cause? I can always say that it's a "complex" thing and design an experiment as elaborate as yours to prove or disprove the teapot's existence. But it's clear that there being no absolute proof of the teapot being not there is no obstacle for us immediately dismissing the hypothesis as extremely unlikely.
Similarly, here too there is nothing better than an experiment, but I don't know how simple or complicated the experiment would be. It could be just finding two groups of people and giving one group psychic advice and the other non-psychic, and see if there is a any measurable difference in "happiness". I don't know how these experiments go, experiments in social sciences always are mysterious to me, one result one day is debunked the next day or that's my current perception.
But what is the cause or the reason to suppose psychics can sense "probabilities in the space-time continuum"? That's just a fancy way of saying they sometimes get a feeling of which decision will lead to good or bad, and morever they apparently can do it over vague generality decisions but not specifics. Sure, it could be something outside our current knowledge(as I think our current says that sensing such probabilites is highly implausible), and an experiment is ofc the best way to resolve it, but I still think there wouldn't be much difference between the two groups. Also, the advice given to the two groups would be needed to be very similar, and only the test group would need to get psychic advice, because if the control gets something like fortune cookie proverbs then ofc they will feel less happier with the advice and may slightly be worse off in life compared to the test group simply because the test group may have advice that's worded in a soothing or motivating or whatever way psychics use their words, so that would simply measure how much psychics are gifted with their words and not the probabilites themselves. So you see why I am reluctant to think of social science experiments.
The grampa on the couch passed out with a bottle😂🤣
It's shocking that there are people that still believe in psyhics. Honestly every psyhic should be free because they can always make lots of money on lotteries and playing the stock market, or going on a high paying out gameshow or something. If they ask for anything in return *money or not* know that they are fake.
Amazon literally got its start selling books for college.
Any time I see those spammer "comments" here I not only report the one sent "to me," but I scroll down to other Replies where they're spamming at others, and Report them from there as well.
Lol at the Dark Crystal clip of Fizgig throwing a tantrum at 7:33
if u trust yourself enough u dont need a psychic
Many people don't
Thanks 👍
At my uni (in the UK) you get the text books for free and can also access them online. But you do have to buy other books, I had to get Dickens and Jane Austen books etc.
A [former] friend went to a psychic reader for her birthday. I went along as I like the shop, so while we went in together, we weren't talking; I went to browse the bookshop while my [former] friend went to the cashier to arrange a Reading.
She is led to the reading rooms, and she goes in as she sits down the psychic says, "Happy Birthday..." despite having _zero evidence_ it was my [former] friends birthday!
An important aspect of the Reading was her being assured the Only True Reliable and Real Friend she had or would _ever_ have was the friend with whom she came to the store that day (and there was no way anyone in the store would really know she and I had come together).
I've clarified her being a [former] friend as, a year or so later when her elderly dog finally passed away, she literally lost her mind with grief, and I was the easiest person at whom to lash out. Eventually she cut ties with me, and I've no idea as to what had happened to her since.
[Her acting and goals of producing never continued (at least according to her IMDb entry).]
😕
I once do this psychic test. Basically a 4 choices question. I guess which one is the 'correct' answer. obviously, the avg of the correct answer is 25%. So you answer 100 q, find your avg. If your avg approach 0% or 100%, you have power. My score was 25% right in the middle of the avg. lol
If you believe a psychic is real, you deserve to lose your money
nice victim blaming there
I don't
Lol i feel like the things the psychic predicted like she said did the things to her like if I was a psychic I would say (someone’s going to spill coffee on you and I would be the one to do that lol

The reason it is specific is definitely because of an AI Algorithm or Neural Network or a account & message generated by one because why do anything if something autonomous, efficient and artificially intelligent can do it for you? And with advancing program languages and/or enough data, experience & training, they can be about as good & convincing as a real person.
Funny thing! Right now that I'm watching your video I got a notification that implied I've won a PS5. 😂 Ask and you shall receive. Lol 😅
I liked the girl until she started talking about her psychic. A big red flag.
11:09 dr.shyam manav wants to know her location.
There is a program that helps with that problem a lot!! It's from a youtuber
Question for jaby where does he find these girls from?
It's so funny that a scammer contacted me through the comment I left on your cinetofu account ,so I played along and acted to poor to pay for the prize but they heartless person said that they could wait for me to get the money 😢😂 even my parents don't have faith on me but they showed faith on me to get suddenly rich and pay for their scam
I actually got hacked once in a game everybody did but it was more like a good hack because we got like $100,000 in the game so I think that was a good hack
I liked that he used no. 420 for prisoner. In india, scammers and fraud people are called 420 bcoz of the law no. 420 in Indian penal code. I dont know if its similar in other places too.
When a imposter cine pals account shows up you don’t half to contact Jaby you can block/report them yourself by clicking on the comment
It’s not should it’s shouldn’t
Oh my god, I am so angry about the textbook thing. The price is fucking too much!
Idk man i would get scammed by her bro seeeeshhh she too cuteee...😭😭😭
13:32 Disney?? 🤔
Why does Julia Wein look like Ashely from Resident Evil remake
Admits to getting her Venmo hacked cuz she clicked a link
Calls it "hacking"
Didn't goto college
Trusts a psychic
I mean, come on man... Is this even up for debate... Just get her out of there. I thought this channel's guests were sane people.
How is jaby able to get permission to watch these videos
Jaby, you owed me gift card from last videos. Gimme gift card.
I got scammed on instagram about this girl wanted to marry to get her inheritance that she was going to get from her dead fathers’s lawyer
Scams suck
Women and these spiritual shit...not a good combo
Give Us her/his number too specially me.... psychic of course
But aren’t scams illegal anyway🤣
I’m sorry the psychic thing made me cringe. Bro come on stop, you are gullible. Just cus of a crazy coincidence you think they are real? Have they ever done it TWICE? Hmmmm? Hmmmmm?!
The thing that happened was most likely something absolutely vague thats gonna happen to like 97% of people at any given time.
"You are going to meet someone new" no shit, that happens to everyone who goes outside more than once a week
Is it weird that I don't use Venmo?
