The extra steps the guy took to leave the store to avoid any further awkwardness hit me so hard and I'll take it a step further. If I'm driving on the interstate and there are cars around me, if I do anything I perceive as stupid, I will exit off at the first chance I get just to get right back on the interstate to put distance between me and those cars that bore witness to my fuck up.
I love when Jaby watches one of these videos. They're already entertaining, but Jaby makes them even more enjoyable. Jess made it extra special with her conversations with Jaby about points made in the video. Hope they do some more of these. Enjoyed the reaction. 👍👍✌out
Love the odd1sout positive message. Actually not completely judge people by the cover and think too negative of them. Relaxing, stopping for a second and assessing the situation first. Most people are nicer than they are in your head. We needed that wholesomeness❤️
Nerdy wardrobe has 3 functions. 1. You wear it cause you like it. 2. It's an effortless icebreaker, and beacon for people who share similar interests. 3. It's a red flag to people who can't share or at least accept your interests. If your interests or hobbies are automatic deal breakers for respective partners, would it even be an enjoyable relationship?
LOL, I love this! Made me cry laughing. I have Tourette's (no, not the barking/swearing/any vocalization type). When you're in a grocery store or on a bus or in a movie theater, and the person next to or near you starts to twitch, you either need an explanation right now or you're getting ready to call 911 after that person hits the floor in a full seizure. So, I have gotten very good over a lifetime (49 now) of this scenario to turn to the person next to or near me and just tell them with no introduction, "Sorry, I have Tourette's I twitch." And they usually just play it off and say, "Oh, how interesting." And sometimes that's a conversation starter, and sometimes it goes no further than that. But because of my twitching, I can talk to almost anyone without the worry of trying to think of something to say, and absolutely move over to the aisle seat so the person next to me doesn't have to feel weird about feeling me twitch. I have found that people never want to be rude and just ask outright, "Are you ok?" or "Why are you twitching?". Little kids will, which is fine, but adults just usually do the side-eye stare, just to make sure you don't drop dead drooling in the soda aisle. They always seem a bit more relieved when I tell them, out of nowhere, that I have Tourette's. And then the ice is broken and they can pick out their favorite beverage without the worry of trying to remember how to do CPR. LOL
I'm an trovert so I rather look for what I want and if I can't find it I go home, no unnecessary talking to strangers and in my country it's a golden rule to jump to the far end seat once it opens up on a bus 🇹🇹
Suddenly I don’t feel so bad about my outlook on people close to me in public lol. I’m very outgoing verbally but claustrophobic when it comes to personal space. Basically me- someone approaching: “Good afternoon, how are you… BACK UP SON!”
If Jaby does read comments (and if it helps at all), I can vouch for hybrid gyms like UFCGYM which has workout equipment as well as coach led martial arts classes. Granted those coaches also try to advertise personal training options since that is their primary source of salary at such an establishment, but it does make for a solid 3rd Space (as Jess points out) But it helps in my case as I hit the gym twice a day (morning for strength training and evening for boxing / cardio classes)
On the bus situation I would just move to the seat that is available now. and if the other person feels bad about it that's their problem not mine.. Likewise If it was the other way around I wouldn't mind at all because, if you want to move to the other seat and maintain some distance that's your 'problem' not mine. rsrs
TheOdd1stOut forgo the other bus scenario. What if when you move over and a new person comes and sit between the two and its somebody you both don't like.
...I've never once considered how the other person feels when I give them more space. Is there anyone at all that would rather sit close to a stranger when there's other available options. If anything, I would have far worse judgmental thoughts if someone could move but chooses not to. Damn near the only reason they would do that is if they were purposefully getting close to you, and in a public setting where you have no way to excuse yourself, it's just creepy.
Did you see the video of an entitled gym girl accusing someone of "looking" at her? While she was not loud, she was obnoxious, and a gym worker requested she calmed down or she could leave. She doubled down, and as the gym worker pointed out, he could have her removed, which made her go even more Karen. Her follow up was that she was thrown out, and her membership revoked...
5:31 for me it depends on the anime, if it’s a cool mature anime like death note or AOT then fine. If it’s some weird anime filled with underaged girls then imma have to pass.
I'm the wife buying him Anime shirts, what else is he supposed to wear?! Anime shirts and Puerto Rico shirts for my American husband, the way it was always intended.
The gym is not exactly the bestest place to meet a potential date BUT it is a good place to make new friends though. It's not a good place to meet a girl or guy because everyone's testosterone is up high and they will not be receptive to your "Playa, playa" moves....gay or other gender.
My recent ex gf is terrible at communicating. She became worse at it and now it's just fighting with her within the first five minutes because I didn't see somerhing she threw into my tomato soup... Um, probably because I literally just got home and hadn't really looked there yet. I'm not psychic lady! FFFAAAAAHK!!! So I eventually got sick of the bs and fighting every five seconds... And told her we're done after the lease... Now she doesn't talk at all... I think a shadow person took her voice in the night or whatever. Who knows? I'm not a shadow person.
It's hard to not think of what other people think of you... maybe i just care about it so much because i'm not used to being around people? I just get really self conscious from time to time and it's really anoying... ohh, life problems...
Jaby watching my boi James, need more of that!

Her voice is amazing...

Jess is the laid back friend we all want to have.

Fun fact: I actually bought James' book. It's very funny. I highly recommend it.
I wear anime shirts any time I'm not working
And if anyone is judging me or won't talk to me because of it, that's their loss.

8:17 your story is the best part of the video 😂
My little pony is the Bain of that T
Young lady you shouldn't worry so much about what people think. Life is much easier that way.👍
Easier said than done 🤡
I WANT people to move. More space for both of us.
I'd probably say "oh nice, more room". Then I'd move.
This was a very interesting Video, I liked your Reaction, i wonder what you’ll watch next.
That is bus etiquette. Not an insult

Sardar movie reaction please
Now that i think about it, i don't have a third space....
