Living in Vancouver, I’m surrounded by Seahawks fans. I was born into Steelers nation, my dad was a die hard and passed that onto me. But I’ve seen a lot of Russ. I’m very excited. This dude can still ball.

@@bestoflife4395sean payton won a super bowl with the saints. but payton isn’t tomlin. whatever needs to be done to get a winning season and probably make the playoffs tomlin will find a way to get it. he NEEDS to win. payton just wants a coaching gig it feels like and he doesn’t have a “culture” that follows him like tomlin and the steelers org. i think russ thrives in a culture. that’s how pete carroll did it. that’s how tomlin does it.

I’m a Steelers fan through and through. Since the late 90’s. I played pee wee football for The Bank of Commerce Steelers in south central Rawlins Wyoming. I became a fan of the black n gold ever since. No reason other than we were the Steelers. I now have a dedicated room for that same team to this day! I have seen many losses, and 2 Super Bowls! I’m grateful for that. It’s more than a lot of fans get with their teams. I have high hopes this year. They might not come to fruition, but it will be a journey I’m imbedded into. #HereWeGo

Let’s gooo Russell. Being from WA, & being a Steelers fan, with the rivalry after the Super Bowl against the Seahawks it was always Steelers vs Hawks. Hated the hawks. But when Russell Wilson joined there was something that drew me to him. Maybe because he showed how strong his Faith was with God, or how compassionate he was that he went and supported the Seattle children hospital that really touched my heart. But so glad to have him on the Steelers. I’m for sure buying my kids and I gear!!!

I am very happy for Russell Wilson to finally be on a contender and Steelers fans to finally have a good quarterback. The Broncos GM has hurt the club since it was not necessary to give up so much to get him. Then, they didn't have the surrounding pieces to make him shine. A lot of dropped balls by wide receivers and no reliable and strong defense.
Really excited to have Russ. Liked him as a seahawk. Its an exciting feeling which i haven’t felt towards the steelers in along time.
