Same in Germany
In Florida, hurricane clothes would include anything you would wear in the state you flew to " to ride it out"

Yeah, I hope it comes back 😭 It made Trevor's wittiness stood out more, he started as a stand-up comedian after all and stand-up comedy is nothing without a live audience

I’d always prefer snow over the German always-rainy-and-windy-and-never-ending-grey-skies winter we have here. At least you can play with snow. You can’t build a rain-man or do a rain-fight
Be careful what you wish for! As an adult who works at a hospital, I dread snow days. They're incredibly dangerous to drive in, which is my only option to get to work AND we dont get compensated for traveling in those conditions! I'd much rather have neverending rain in winter than a snow storm a month!

I can remember the neighbors behind us were from Ecuador. Grandma came to help with the new baby, and I got to see the magic in her eyes as she was playing with the older child in her first snow.

As a former S. African myself I totally hate the weather in freezing New York City where I live ~! S.Africa has the most glorious weather anywhere in the world. No 'cold season' like we have in America! Also no humidy in summer! Fabulous!!!! Sun shines every day! Why are we even here!!?? Haha! Meanwhile, as Elon Musk, who lived in Protoria said ... He had to leave 'cos he didn't want to be 'called up' and have to fight in wars against Africans... Happened to so many of my friends when I lived there! They fled to Australia and also to, ..San Diego! where the climate is exactly the same as in S. Africa!! Thanks to you for your, (like)!, humor and amazing intelligence Sir! ...Phambili!!

Having always lived in four seasons, I moved to Panama. And so aclimated to seasonal changes, I spent nearly six months expecting to feel brisk cold air when I opened the front door... but it was just hot... every day. No Fall or Winter... just Summer.

It only snowed three times here in Dallas, Texas. We don't get much of snow like other states do.
The only thing between Texas and the North Pole is a barb wire fence.

Visited New York during a record snow storm - can confirm that walking an empty Times Square while it’s snowing is magical! But give it 2 days tops being unable to do anything but trek through nasty brown slush, trying not to slip and die, and you’re absolutely over it.

I remember living in Edmonton in Canada many years ago and the Edmontonians used to joke about it being 9 months of winter and 3 months of bad skating there....they also used to refer to their own city as Deadmonton because it was so boring all year round. Lots of money to be earned there but f*ck all to spend it on!
