Hello, I created an updated video for this tutorial that might answer some of your question. Also, I made sure not to add music while I was talking. Please check out the link below. ruclips.net/video/O28f0enTVtU/видео.htmlfeature=shared
How do you get the pronged part to stay in? I'm pushing but it doesn't stay in but when I use the plier that part works but the female side does not go into the fabric. I'm ready to throw it out of the window.
Hhmm, I honestly don't know what to say but if the same kit like mine, it should work fine with lightweight fabrics. I'm sorry you're having trouble with it..
hi thank you for the tutorial. I do have a problem. the male and the female snaps does not stay in place they just come off. So I have not been able to attach any snap button so far. Any advice?
What kind of fabric are you using? If you use this particular button it only works with lightweight non stretchy fabric. I find it a hard way when I tried to used this in satin fabric anything silky it does hold very well.
Hi Amna, I don't usually use it but the iron rod is intended to tighten the snap even more to the garment. If you notice the other end it has a slope that matches both female and male side. You can press them using this rod and you also need a hammer to do it.
@@MissAnnDesigns I'm not understanding how this works. Can you explain with more detail? I just can't seem to get the tool to work even though I am doing it just as you show in the vid.
OKay so when I opened up my hole punch machine all the extra pieces fell out and I just threw them away bc I: didnt feel like cleaning it ups so you need to do a video showing how we can do this with just a hole puncher thanks
You can use it but the fabric needs to be thinner. This is not for heavy duty material also I find out that this doesn't work very well with stretchy fabrics
I bought that same tool and snaps and couldn't get the pieces to merge when I squeezed the tool. I did it exactly as you did, but the snaps didn't close. I wonder what I am doing wrong. I feel like there's something wrong and am on the verge of returning the tool and set. When you do it, it looks so simple and easy. I will try again and report back.
Did you make sure that you install the female part in the right side. Sometimes it's kinda hard to tell if which side is right. If you installed it in a wrong way that would explain why they don't merge together. Try flipping the female side the other way.
Hello, ay hindi sya pwede gamitin para dyan wala syang pambutas, plain plier lang talaga to para sa snap button. Ang kailangan mo gamitin para dyan ay yung eyelet puncher.
If you're using the same pliers I have try one pair without any fabric see if it will stay. If not, make sure that you put the snap in the the right side where the pronged goes. You can tell by feeling it in your finger, the correct side is the one that sticks out a little bit. So just make sure that its facing up to the spikes. Hope that helps.
Music is a little loud and I was a little unclear on which end should be up and which down. Your voice is at the same or slightly lower volume than the music.
VERY HELPFUL VIDEO BUT THE BUTTONS THAT CAME AS A PACKAGE WITH THE PRONG PLIERS ARE TOO SMALL AND DO NOT SNAP IN THE PRONG PLIERS TO HOLD IN PLACE TO INSTALL BUTTONS! MAYBE I SHOULD ASK FOR MY MONEY BACK! GOOD VIDEO THOUGH! THANK YOU!
I'm sorry it didn't work for you, if it didn't fit then you should return them, maybe they sent you the wrong size. Mine otherwise works perfect.. Thank you for your feedback
Hi, how are you doing? I'm not sure what is your question but if you ask how many snaps are in the box, its 200 pairs including the flier and the rubber ring.

I know for a while I was convinced it couldn't possibly be the other way around but it wasn't working - try flipping the female side around?
I just ordered it and I'm having the same issue. It's only needing to go through layers of fat quarter cotton fabric.
Same here, just got mine yesterday. One side holds perfect, the opposite (female) isn’t connecting however hard I push
😊😊
Thank you Ann, finally you taught me how to use this, thanks Ann, love from Ireland

Do I need to stabilise jersey knit fabrics under where the press studs go?
Hello Jane, I haven't tried to use this in knit fabrics so I don't really know but I think you should.
Does the tool automatically make the holes in the fabric for you as you install the buttons?
Yes, the prongs will penetrate to the fabric as you press the flier harder.
Thank you for this video ❤️🥰
What is the use of this iron rod...?

Do you think these could be used to create tear away pants? All videos I see involve sewing but I wanted to just use the pliers
You can use it but the fabric needs to be thinner. This is not for heavy duty material also I find out that this doesn't work very well with stretchy fabrics
I have purchased, but it's not working
Ohh, Sorry to hear that. I wonder why?
@@MissAnnDesigns I can't get it to work either. Sad face here.
Thank you so much this was so helpful
You're so welcome!
Is their a qay to do it without the pliers?
Hi, you could probably do it without the pliers but it would be really hard.

Followup. It looks like I was putting the pieces in backwards. I finally got it to work. Thanks, Miss Ann, for your video and suggestions.
That's good to know, thank you and you are very welcome..
Good presentation
Thank You
This was truly so helpful!!!
Glad it was helpful!
Pretty cool 😎
Can I use it on Felt fabric?
From where can I buy it? A stationery shop or a hardwsre shop?
Please guide me
Yes you can use it in a felt fabric as long as it's not super thick. I bought this set on Amazon. Just search snap kit with flier
If the snap fastener is all used how can I get some to buy
And also can the machine be used for all Pressterd
You can buy just the snaps itself without the pliers and it can only be use with lightweight materials
Thanks dear❤
is this good for plastic snap button?
This is good for lightweight fabrics but I don't its good for plastic.
nice video very helpful thanks for sharing, new friend here full support, hopefully I see you soon
Hey Ann, thank you for your support. Stay connected.
Thank you very helpful
